I saw the scrapbook docker, but then I have to scroll through all my files. Not sure if it remembers a folder on open and close..
Is it possible to create my own docker in VBA? I found some examples using Visual Studio.

I noticed that in CDX4 under the tranformations docker we had the "apply to duplicate" feature under the rotate option. However, I do not see it in CDX5.
Is this a change that was made to CDX5? Or am I missing something when I loaded CDX5 to my computer?
I have just switched from X5 to X6. I am almost convinced that before, when I made a change on for instance an objects size in the Transformations docker, I then pressed Enter, and that was the same as using the mouse and clicking Apply. This doesn't work in X6, I have to lift my hand and use the mouse. Is there a way to fix this?

View 7 Replies View RelatedAfter installing the latest patch, I read that ... "You can press Enter to apply transformations from the Transformations docker".
Here's my issue...when I draw a box as shown, I try to do a "PROPORTIONAL" size change by using the 'enter' key. No luck. I then try to do a 'non-proportional scale', it works fine.
I have created a custom docker and I need to find a way to have the docker refresh when the document.save event is fired. The docker retrieves custom document properties saved within the file and displays the vales in the docker. I have it currently set to update when i switch between documents or when the document is closed, the docker is cleared of all the values. I still , to this day, can not figure out how to refresh automatically after I save a document.

The Join Curves docker seems like a handy tool, unfortunately following the directions yields no change--I can't get it to do anything at all. Is this a known issue? I have X5 with the latest SP, just installed a few days ago.

It appears not to include the Docker "Object Coordinates" although both the video and Help files include prescriptions for using it.Corel Support insist that this docker is present in this edition of X5 and instruct me to reset the application defaults (F8).F8 does not reveal the missing docker, nor does a complete uninstall/reinstall. It seems to me that "Object Coordinates actually is NOT there.

I know there is a macro that converts symbols to objects but the macro does not affect this part the document that has ANOTHER set of Symbols....know what I mean? Maybe a macro that digs and wipes out all symbols in the docker?
It takes a REALLY long time just to delete them one by one...even multi-selecting did not work.
The latest version has built upon the QuickSwap module (select 2 images and then swap them with one click) by adding a QuickSwapSize module which not only swaps 2 images, but also swaps their sizes.The macro also has the original module SwapImage module which pops up a userform and allows the user to choose how the 2 images are swapped (e.g. swap the position of their top left corners, bottom right corners, etc). Here is a screen capture of how the modules appear in the Macro Manager docker, assign shortcut buttons/keystrokes to make them one click away:

1. Facing problem of frequent CorelDraw X6 crash while working and seemingly most of the times it even don't sent any error messages to Corel support.
2. Transformations docker doesn't accept enter for applying changes, it only responds when we hit apply. It is good to move through options by using TAB, but it should accept ENTER as “APPLY” as we make desired change in any parameter. Mostly I prefer dockers to property bar.
3. Open and Import dialogue boxes don’t get cancelled as we hit ESC key.
4. Using pick tool double click a group of objects including paragraph text and get desired rotation is still a havoc despite we are using x6 (64-bit). It kills much of our time. See screen shot below:
5. I am also facing problem in EPS editable import as shown in the screen shot below "An error occurred while processing PIEE.eps. The file cannot be opened."
The file is created in x6 and has 2 pages for two print jobs. Both pages has flatten background text and fountain lenses to RGB bitmap. All texts converted to curves. Page 1 exported to EPS and then imported as EPS editable successfully. Page 2 exported to EPS and then imported as EPS editable - shown above error. I have also tried importing this page to a fresh file and then created fresh EPS but got the same erroneous result.
As far as my experience with PDF is not good, because sometimes PDF also produces undesired result on RIP specially as RGB images, bar codes, drop shadows etc. I believe that EPS files are far more reliable in prepress jobs.
I just used the help file for the first time in ages and noticed all the links to the graphics are broken hence no diagrams etc. I tried to search out where they are usually stored and it gives some weird Address under properties. It's a vba so suppose it's a database? How do I restore the links without having to do a re-install?
As to the pen: How do you stop the annoying over-the-top predictive curve that happens past the node in the next section after a long drag to form the first curve. i.e. you simply want to draw a straight line after dragging out a curved section previously and you get this unmanageable curve to deal with ?
When I publish to PDF (web setting plus include links) the links do not hold. How to I get the links to stay in the PDF document?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am running X6 on Win 8 Pro. I Externally Link a picture into a CD file using UNC naming. I also Externally link using a mapped network drive and a local drive. In none of these can i get the Edit Links option to not be grayed out.
I am using the FIle --> Import --> External Link option to insert the image. I have tried changing the linked image, closing the CD file and the reopening it and it does not update the graphic. I am stuck with the original which is what i do not want.
I have gotten this to work on older versions of CD and have not a clue what is going wrong now.
Sometimes I am working with "heavy" files, images of huge size and when I thrown them to corel it really starts to slow down. My question now is, if I remember correctly there is an option when you import an image to corel it just keeps the path of the image and adds the image on corel on very poor quality just for you to work easily. When you are finished you just make something and the paths of the images are replaced with the originals.Where can I find that option?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently installed GraphicsSuite x6 (with SP4) on a new Surface Pro 2 tablet running on Windows 8.1. My command bar buttons are not displaying properly. Depending on whether I have the open on the tablet screen or an external monitor, the toolbar buttons will not be displayed. This also affects some (but not all) dockers. For example the buttons and labels on the Align and Distribute docker are not displayed, regardless of which display I am using. This issue affects both CorelDraw and Photo-Paint.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm running CD X5 on a windows 7 machine. I had a custom "my Toolbar" set up wit all my most used tools and now suddenly it's gone! It is turned on in the menu (checked). I have unchecked it and rechecked it to no avail. I have re-booted my machine and still nothing. why it's gone but I can't seem to get it back.

And in the 157 page Macro PDF (really, did it need to be this long? How about an easy-command sheet), it says you can use the key command Ctrl+Shift+R to start recording... Well, that brings up the ruler.
I use Macros a lot in Excel (I record the commands that I want, then tweak in the editor), so I get how they are supposed to work - but I'm no programmer, and without the ability to record, I'm completely handcuffed. This really shouldn't be 1% as difficult as it has been
I've been battling with moving tool bars between my CorelX4 PC's. I think I've finally figured out how to do it so far. Export/Import RecordedMacro.bas 'First' and make sure it's the same name on both PC's as importing a new one renumbers the *.bas file. I think this made a difference anyway.
Export/Import Workspace Toolbar next. I found if I imported the workspace first, I couldn't get the new toolbar to work.
Now, if I want to edit the colors of the toolbar as shown below, the current color doesn't show in the editing window, nor do I have any color options.
I have a tool bar for all the macros that I use regularly.
While we can add shortcut icon onto the tool bar by simply drag and drop, I couldn't figure out the way to remove icon from the tool bar.
My color toolbar on the right side of the screen is gone. How do I get it back?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have seen a reference to the auto close gaps button on the toolbar of CorelDraw.I need something like that, because whatever I do I cannot fill my lineart with the smartfill tool, even though I have closed all the gaps, as far as i can tell.
I am wondering if there is a problem with my Coreldraw X5 Software.I am using it on an iMac with Parallels.
In X5 I had it set up so I could re-size proportionally and it was right under where object properties is now in X6. How I can get my workspace so it's there again? Or at least where I can find the tool that re-sizes proportionally?

Do I have to re-install the whole program again or is there an easier way of just adding it in afterwards. FYI: the TTF optionis not in my Global Filtr Settings list to ad or remove.
