When using the Smartbrush tool in Elements 11, I cannot get the slider controls to show on the right hand side of the workspace - the tutorial shows them and describes how to use them (easy!), but I can't get them to show.

Here is my situation: I want to draw a vertical line on the left-hand side of my workspace about an inch away (to the right) from the left edge. Then I want to fill up that inch-wide column with a particular color. The end result being that I will have an inch-wide bar of color running vertically down the left side of my project.
I know this is probably really easy to do but it's been a long time since I had a course in Photoshop.
I use PSE 6.
PSE 11 won't fit screen can't access slider bar at the side of application.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from ps elements 10 to 12 and have noticed that all of my albums from 10 have disappeared, but to the lower right of each photo thumbnail there is a red album icon, and if I hang my mouse over it, it tells me what album it is in, but the album isn't listed on the left of the screen. I really do not want to recreate these albums, as it would be almost impossible. I am dealing with over 2000 photos over several years (downloaded from discs from the last several years). I need to have these albums back to print, delete, edit, share.

View 14 Replies View RelatedIn upgrading to LR4 I wish to keep my process 2010 photos as process 2010. There is no need to redo them because the update pretty much forces you to start again with most processed photos.
My problem is that I now find that LR4 greys out the detail and color sliders for Luminance and color noise reductionas if they are process 2003 photos. That is, I do not have access to the detail and color for the noise reduction section.
I can only assume this is a bug or that Adobe have changed the Noise reduction engine.
In Photoshop CS6, a very important button is missing from the toolbar — the one to show two images side-by-side or above-and-below, and multiple images in other arrangements. I need this button — it’s an important part of my. (BTW, the button is still in Illustrator CS6.)
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have loaded Photoshop 10 onto my Win 7 SP1 PC, and it seems to work fine, but when I load an image and zoom in until it exceeds the window size, then try to move the image around with the scroll bars, nothing happens. Since I am using the crop tool, when I depress the Spacebar and use the Hand Tool to move the image, then release the spacebar, THEN the scrollbars start working as they should. Loading another image starts this process all over again. Is there something I can do so that Photoshop 10 always allows Scrollbars to function on a newly opened image?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I select a "New" document in CS5 I find that I am only able to paint or fill in in grey scale. This is new. In the Color options panel the grey scale slider is ticked and all other options are greyed out.
How do I remove the tick by the side of the grey scale slider and make the other options available for selection as normal. I note that if I open a previously opened document all options are available it just seems to be new blank documents.
I somehow managed to delete the editing menu on the right hand side of my screen. how can I recall this menu?
