Feb 13, 2012I have a panel that I can only access the controls in the top 2/3 of the panel......the bottom thirds has EDITBOXES in it, but I cannot access them. It's as if they do not exist ?

Mar 16, 2012In upgrading to LR4 I wish to keep my process 2010 photos as process 2010. There is no need to redo them because the update pretty much forces you to start again with most processed photos.
My problem is that I now find that LR4 greys out the detail and color sliders for Luminance and color noise reductionas if they are process 2003 photos. That is, I do not have access to the detail and color for the noise reduction section.
I can only assume this is a bug or that Adobe have changed the Noise reduction engine.

Jul 10, 2012I used to be able to hold down the Shift key and move all the sliders in the Color panel at the same time so that I could get a tint of the color I was working with. Now that doesn't seem to work. I've tried the Shift key, the Command key, the Option key and the Control key but nothing works. Is there still a way to move all the sliders at once so they maintain their relative positions? I'm working with the RGB Color panel window.

Feb 1, 2014In previous versions of Adobe Illustrator, there was a slider available to adjust a gradient scale so easily. Yet, this extremely convenient and time-saving slider was removed from the gradient scale in the latest version of Illustrator 17.1.0; I don’t understand why you would do this. We can only use the numbers of angles you provided, or we have to type in a desired number. This complicates work so much and just wastes valuable time. It was so much easier when the slider was there as you could see the result instantly as you were making adjustments. The number was irrelevant in most instances.

Sep 6, 2012I just opened a new document in Illustrator CS5 and went to apply drop shadow to a shape I made and the "blur" slider is greyed out (I can't use it). It's also greyed out on other style panels such as outer glow, etc.
-Tried closing Illustrator and opening again, nothing.
-Tried Command+Option+Shift to reset Illustrator, nothing.
-Tried restarting the computer, nothing.
Illustrator :: Greyscale Slider Does Not Go To Full Black
Feb 11, 2014Is it possible to set the grayslide color picking slider to go to full black? The reason I would like to do this is because:
1. The slider (or another workflow) should offer a fast way to select a grayscale color.
2. In CS6 there is no other fast way to select an arbitrary grayscale color. The other other way to select an arbitrary desaturated color is to create a color swatch by selecting it through the Photoshop-style color picking dialog accessible by double clicking the color display in the Tools window.
3. It is not possible to slide across a selection of gray scale values in the RGB color picker in the Color Window. Which would be preferable in general as this would unify and retain the workflow of selecting an arbitrary grayscale value within the RGB selection of the Color Window.
Illustrator :: Black Color Slider Stuck As Multicolored Gradient?
Apr 18, 2013My black color slider is stuck as a multicolored gradient. The file was originally in RGB mode and I've seen it happen before but usually if I change my color mode to CMYK the black slider bar goes back to normal.
Any way to fix this with illustrator open? It doesn't go away unless I close and re-open illustrator. I don't think that it affects my output colors...

May 15, 2012In CS5 I have the interface set up so that the windows dock but when there are no windows open you can see the desktop.
In CS6 there is this big ugly black panel on show all the time Have tried to compare the setting but cannot see any options that are fundermentally different.
Can I remove this background and if so how to do this.
Photoshop Elements :: Layer(s) Not Showing Up On Top Of Background - Only In Layers Panel?
Jan 16, 2014Started working with PSE and when I tried to "stamp" a brush shape (whether default brushes or otherwise), the program does something it had never done before....SEE ATTACHED. I will create a new layer to use my brush, but when I try to "stamp" it onto background, the program then creates a layer mask where I can see the brush shape AND a new layer, however ALL that shows up on the background is the icon you can see in my screen grab I am attaching here. What is this icon? (The teeny one middle right of image, black square, outlined in red, with two red circles in the middle) I called Apple, we did a few things, they said it wasn't on there end. I reset my tools, I uninstalled, reinstalled, to no avail. Again, I've reset all tools, the "eye" icon on layers panel shows it should be visible, I've tried layers-->merge visible, I've uninstalled and reinstalled.....

Aug 28, 2012I have CS5. The bugs and broken features in AICS6, make it unusable in my workflow.
I am specifically concerned about the inability to drag global color swatches from the color panel to Gradient stops in the Gradient Panel. I use this method to update a gradient color because I find it MUCH faster than option-dragging to duplicate a stop color, then deleting the unused stop. Since I do this constantly, I find using CS6 very tedious.

When I select linked files the button to make object dynamic is greyed out.I see no other way to continue(CS6) also reading about similar problems in (CS5).

Illustrator :: Why Is The Kuler Panel Not Syncing In CC
Jun 25, 2013I love using the Kuler panel in illustrator but I downloded the new CC version and my color panel will not load my themes or allow me to browse other Kuler sets. Here is what I am seeing:
Then when I click on the Download My Themes button I get this:
Now I know I am not offline becasue I can still go on to the Kuler website and get themes and my login apears in the box above the Download button.
So how do I browse themse and get them in to Illustrator with in the application?
