Illustrator :: Allow Gesture Controls?
May 26, 2013All of my other Adobe products allow me to pan ad scan and zoom using my fingers on the touch pad. Why does illustrator not? Or if it is supposed to, how do I turn those controls on?

So far the native actions "touchstart, touchend, and touchmove" work fine. Does a native way for zoom detection exist?

Feb 5, 2005An image is on the monitor and I inadvertently must hit a command or key and the screen goes into a maximized mode. My image is still on the screen but everything else is gone. I cannot minimize since those buttons are gone. I right click or left click on the mouse and nothing happens. I cannot even shut down the computer since those controls are gone. It is necessary for me to turn off the computer using the off/on button. What I get on my monitor is the image that I was working on and a neutral background that covers the entire monitor.
I am running Photoshop 6 and XP.
3ds Max :: Why Controls On SpacePilot Inverted
Jun 25, 2012I'm new to using 3DS Max, and my SpacePilot moves around inverted when compared to Inventor, Mudbox, or any other 3D software. Is there a way I can change this? Why would 3DS Max make it so difficult to move around?

May 2, 2011The same keys seem to be used to move the viewport camera, but the behavior of the viewport camera seems to have changed. For example, press Z to focus on an object, middle-drag the camera off to the side in one direction, and alt+middle-dragging used to just rotate the viewport camera around a new focus point. Now, it's almost like the viewport camera is getting swung around on a rope around the original focus point.
How can I change it back to the original way?

I have selected my audio input under prefrences. I am using a M-Audio Fast Track Pro. USB connection
On the audio track I selected for my audio, I have no "R" to click on and there are no audio controls (play, pause, record, ect) at the bottom of the audio pane.

Dec 11, 2012I've been having this problem since the first Photoshop CS6 beta, across multiple different PCs. And the problem is this:
The new blur filters available in CS6 don't have any on-screen controls visible at all (the ones that let you adjust the position and strength and other parameters), like shown in the marketing videos and tutorials. I don't know if it's a Windows specific problem, but I've seen this problem on multiple PCs.

Feb 11, 2013'09 iMac 24, CS6 (just updated), Software Update reports no needed updates (relative to the graphics card), etc.
When attempting to set up a lighting effect, the spot light displays but without control handles.
View->Extras is enabled (and toggling didn't work). Graphics card option was set to Basic, tried the others, no joy - and yes, the use graphics card option is also checked.

Nov 28, 2011The audio level controls seem to bottom out before the sound has zeroed creating audio leakage from tracks set to minimum. -36db is not zero. It would sure be nice to fade out an audio track and have it be silent.

When the mask has focus, the transform controls are simply not visible (even with "Show Transform Controls" checked). Feb 10, 2012Just started looking at Mayas human IK rig system and initial thoughts are thats it looks quite good. Thats until I created the controls for the rig!
I've previously rigged many characters before (just basic rigs) from scratch and also used some of the free auto rigs thats are around on the net so I know the basic stuff but I'm no expert. But as any rigger will tell you its always best to keep you rig clean and tidy and all controls to be zeroed out at bindpose. This make things easy all round especially when animating.
So going back to creating the controls for the HumanIK when you look in the channel box there are values in some translates and rotates!

Aug 26, 2013As soon as I either hit the "create proof copy" button or answer yes to the question, all of the develop controls are greyed out. I've exited and rebooted but no luck. I've tried entering the soft proofing area both by checking off the box at the bottom of the screen and by hitting the "S" key but no luck. I'm using LR 4.4 on a Mac using 10.6.8.

May 2, 2012I have used an adjustment layer in CS5 and when it was first used I could adjust everything. Now most of the controls have grayed out and whilst I can slide the sliders I can not type figures in nor use the radio buttons! Why has it locked me out? It has happened on a few images and with both Color Balance and Hue and Saturation Layers.
The image above shows the problem with the top Color Balance layer where I can not select Shadows or Highlights, nor type in figures for the sliders BUT I can slide them and change the tick on Preserve Luminosity! The basic image being edited is an 8-bit RGB file.
Adding a new adjustment layer (Color Balance) on top of this one initially showed the same problem but after adding 3 more new adjustment layers suddenly everything came back to fully working again - even the original problem layer!
This problem keeps happening with some of my images. It is happening on all 3 of our Photoshop PC's, so it looks like a basic PS bug.
Photoshop :: Why Transformation Controls Lines Dotted
Jun 22, 2013I downloaded a trial of Adobe Photoshop CC and when I started it up I noticed these dotted lines on the transformation control lines. I sure it's not a new feature because I did not see this in videos of people using Photoshop CC. My computer also meets all the requirements for the application and it runs really smoothly. This really bugs me because it glitches sometimes too.

Photoshop :: CS5 Extras And Transition Controls Not Working?
Oct 28, 2013CS5 EXtended / WIN7. I have two issues.
(1) Every time I open up a new project, I have been getting grid lines that pop up, then I have to go to VIEW, and unclick EXTRAS, or Control-H...EVERY time, which gets annoying. How can I Stop this from happening?
(2) another problem is even though my SHOW TRANSITION CONTROLS are clicked Enabled, they don't show up when I want to use them, SO NOW, I now have to click Control-T...How did that happened?
VideoStudio :: Access To Controls In Full Screen
Jul 1, 2012I've been using ulead vs 10 and now corel vs x4 pro to interface and record video from a microscope. I produced a DVD for microbe identification which has been purchased by 100s of amateur scientists and organic farmers. I record direct to hard drive via firewire with a Sony HD camcorder with a remote control 10X analog zoom; 37 mm lense. It is a lovely old camera.
1/ The recording controls are not accessible when in full screen mode which means I need to start recording, open the full screen then focus and start tracking my organisms with the microscope stage controls. To stop recording I need to go to small screen again first. Has this function been changed in the x5 version?
2/ When using the HD settings on camera and software, there is a delayed reaction to the computer so this makes tracking the microbes impossible. I doubt this is caused by lack of RAM I have 24 GB on a windows 7 64 bit.
3/ Occaisionally when I am observing and/or recording, the transmission freezes. I think this is likely something trying to run in the computer....Perhaps with creating a dedicated profile where I could stop any of this interference.
4/ I've been using an external USB 2.0 hard drive for storage but it is too slow. I've been thinking of a SATA external drive or USB 3. Does any huge advantages for the extra money to get a SATA external drive over USB 3.0?
AutoCAD .NET :: Palette Changes Size Of WinForms Controls

The position of the rig doesn't update until I let go of the controls. On other rigs the rig updates real time.
