I'm new to using 3DS Max, and my SpacePilot moves around inverted when compared to Inventor, Mudbox, or any other 3D software. Is there a way I can change this? Why would 3DS Max make it so difficult to move around?
I think I might have accidentally used a wrong key command but as I was working on my digital art peice; the yellow from the layer I was working on turned green. So I thought to myself I must have accidentally pressed the key command for inverting the colors on the layer. But when I tried to invert it again, hoping it would turn to yellow again, it actually turned purple. So I zoomed in but then all of the other layers changed colors too. Some of the layers retained their original color but are still distorted and inverted.
I tried closing photoshop and reopening the document but to no avail. I also tried resetting all of the settings but that didn't do anything either. I think I'm going to have a heart attack if I can't fix this problem; I spent months on this and I have about a thousand layers ...
I have been working on a few projects where the site plans are done by the Engineer in AutoCAD. They are campus-sized site plans so to re-create them in Revit would be too time consuming. So, I am linking them into my model.
So, what I have been doing is creating several masking regions around the perimeter of the site plan in Revit in order to 'crop' the sites as necessary - I do not want to create several different site plans in CAD and bring them in separately as to avoid multiple updating when the site changes).
Is there an 'inverse' masking region where the outside of the masking region is what masks instead of the inside of the enclosed masking perimeter?
For some reason when I open the application the main screen appears inverted with the workspace as gray instead of white and the toolbar inverted from white icons on black background to white icons on black background.
Can't find what I did to create the change. How do I restore the default?
When I open the Diffuse Glow filter, it appears as if inverted, or negative. What I expect to be a light halo effect shows up as a dark glow. How can I reset this filter to show the normal 'light' halo effect?
I am recoloring a paintball gun from blue to green. There are some parts with screws in the middle, is there a way I can select one area, and have another inverted?
[URL].......
This is what I have so far. You see that rectangle with the screw in the middle? There's my issue. I need to colorize the blue, but not the screw.
I know there is a tool where it everything is masked in red and it selects what isn't red, but that is too hard to use. I want to use the lasso tool.
We use Excel quite often in Civil 3d. Every now and then a system or drawing will randomly begin printing the OLE with inverted colors. ie black box with white text. Restarting sometimes works.. Sometimes not. is there a variable for it?
I've had gimp for quite awhile now and ive never come across this problem before. im trying to use the layer mask with greyscale and inverted image just as i always have. but when i go to edit my color i get grey! ive always been able to change colors this way! i know that the mode is set to rgb. im on the correct layer. ive closed it. ive restarted my laptop.
If i click on the transparency part i get a big blob of color as i should. but on the mask it does what its supposed to but in shades of grey. i dont understand whats wrong! it always worked perfectly. . .
newest Gimp windows 7
Only thing that i have changed is i have a new tablet but i still have the problem without the tablet
Is it possible to model a surface in Civil 3D with an inverted rock face as in the cross section below? We will be scanning a large hill for quantitiy before and after they blast so will be using point clouds.
I'm trying to use Illustrator CS5 (as well as Photoshop CS5) on my Lenovo X61 Tablet (running Windows 7 32 bit) in 270° screen rotation (I think this is called secondary portrait mode in windows?), but my X and Y cursor positions are inverted. This means if my stylus is on the left half of the screen, my cursor will be on the right side, the same distance away from the right border as my stylus is from the left. Likewise if my stylus is somewhere in the top half of the screen, the cursor will be somewhere in the bottom half of the screen, the same distance from the bottom border as the stylus is from the top. The only time the cursor and stylus positions match is in the dead center of the screen.
The stylus is working properly in other applications in this screen rotation, including InDesign CS5 (the only other Adobe product I've tried with this), just not in Illustrator or Photoshop.
I like the adjustment panel on HDR toning. Is there a way that I can just use those controls without HDR taking over and doing it thing. In other words I just want to open up and not have hdrt make its adjustment I want to do it my self because all of the controls are right there.
An image is on the monitor and I inadvertently must hit a command or key and the screen goes into a maximized mode. My image is still on the screen but everything else is gone. I cannot minimize since those buttons are gone. I right click or left click on the mouse and nothing happens. I cannot even shut down the computer since those controls are gone. It is necessary for me to turn off the computer using the off/on button. What I get on my monitor is the image that I was working on and a neutral background that covers the entire monitor.
The same keys seem to be used to move the viewport camera, but the behavior of the viewport camera seems to have changed. For example, press Z to focus on an object, middle-drag the camera off to the side in one direction, and alt+middle-dragging used to just rotate the viewport camera around a new focus point. Now, it's almost like the viewport camera is getting swung around on a rope around the original focus point.
All of my other Adobe products allow me to pan ad scan and zoom using my fingers on the touch pad. Why does illustrator not? Or if it is supposed to, how do I turn those controls on?
I am new to Premier Pro CC but and old hat at Premier Elements. I've never had issues with recording narration in Elements but I can't record it in Pro.
I have selected my audio input under prefrences. I am using a M-Audio Fast Track Pro. USB connection
On the audio track I selected for my audio, I have no "R" to click on and there are no audio controls (play, pause, record, ect) at the bottom of the audio pane.
I've been having this problem since the first Photoshop CS6 beta, across multiple different PCs. And the problem is this:
The new blur filters available in CS6 don't have any on-screen controls visible at all (the ones that let you adjust the position and strength and other parameters), like shown in the marketing videos and tutorials. I don't know if it's a Windows specific problem, but I've seen this problem on multiple PCs.
When using Photoshop CS6 in Windows (Vista 32bit with Intel Core 2 Duo 2.20Ghz and 4GB RAM), Lighting Effects doesn't show any on screen controls for brightness etc.
'09 iMac 24, CS6 (just updated), Software Update reports no needed updates (relative to the graphics card), etc.
When attempting to set up a lighting effect, the spot light displays but without control handles.
View->Extras is enabled (and toggling didn't work). Graphics card option was set to Basic, tried the others, no joy - and yes, the use graphics card option is also checked.
The audio level controls seem to bottom out before the sound has zeroed creating audio leakage from tracks set to minimum. -36db is not zero. It would sure be nice to fade out an audio track and have it be silent.
