I'm getting several messages saying "value on wrong side of alignment" when I rebuild my corridor. I've checked the two target alignments that I'm using and they are on the correct side.

When I run my corridor I get an error message that says "Failed Target Not Found" it is for the subassembly provided by WisDOT called UrbMedian.

I'm having problems with Autocad Civil 3d 2012. I'm building a corridor of a curb gutter and sidewalk with a daylight of 2:1 on top of an EG surface. The corridor works for about 3/4 of the length but the last section won't connect the daylight to the existing ground surface. There are multiple sections of the corridor with different assemblies.

I get about 33 of these errors each time the corridor rebuilds. I'm not sure whats going on, the corridor has targets set for the surface and still won't connect to it.
I am getting this error when I am trying to create a surface from my corridor. Instead of just defining a surface along my corridor it is trying to connect all contours lines between different parts of the corridor
When creating the surface I define 2 surfaces, one with overhang correction as top links with links data set as top, and a second with overhang correction as bottom links with links data defined as datum. I have then defined the boudaries using add automatically-daylight. I have followed this procedure for 5 previous corridors with no issues (ie the surface matches the corridor) so is there anyway I could have done something different.
Using Civil 3D 2012 SP 1 on Win7 Pro 64-bit.
Is there any reason why a corridor model would not be respecting the manually entered super elevation values in the alignment? I have several stations that should be calculated with even super elevation values, but they aren't. For example, at station 0+080 on my alignment the left crown should be running at -3%, but it is actually being calculated at -2.47%. It isn't just one station; it's most of them. No overridden stations, vertical targets, etc in the corridor. Just a fairly straight-forward align (hor/vert) with super, simple assembly (two lanes, shoulder, daylight), simple corridor.
When trying to make an existing features corridor when I select Target to set the existing surface I get an error
"No target found in the scripts."
I have attached a word file with the error as it appears on the screen.
I opened a project that i had not been into for a month and for some reason the surface and labels will not rebuild automatically anymore. Surface is set to rebuild automatic and i've gone in and changed the regenauto from on to off to on again, also rebooted the computer with no luck. I have a combination of feature lines and points. If I edit the elevations along the feature line the contours do not rebuild and the label does not change either. If I hover over the elevation node in the feature line it will show the new elevation but the elevation label for that point does not reflect the change, neither do the contours. If it is a point and I change it with the panorama window, the elevation tag will change but the contours do not rebuild until I tell it to rebuild. Any slope labels going to that point do not update with it though.

There are almost 3000 points and contours but I can not use these points to create a surface. Even all the properties of the corridor setup from one to another would be useful. I'm building one corridor and an 2nd one that matches everything except I need to replace my Assembly with one meant for stripping.
My corridor surface is not matching my corridor top links. see attachments. this is affecting my volumes!
The section-plan(surface red).png is showing the section editor and the plan view. the red highlighted line in section is the corridor surface and as you can see in plan view the surface is incorrect and wiggly.
The pdf is all my sections with the red linework being the corridor surface.

I am working on a 6 mile highway project whose surface file is 85MB big. So, I created a Data Shortcut of this surface and used this for creating profiles. However, at some locations the corridors go below the surface(as per their original profile) which was not intended. So, I need to restrict the surface to follow the corridors but not go beyond it.
I have created feature lines from corridors and tried to add them as breaklines to the surface. But " error adding breakline" error pops up.
Is it because I am trying to add the breaklines to the mirror surface which I created from Data Shortcut ??
Will it be useful if I copy feature lines to original surface file and add these feature lines as breaklines in that file??

Undefined group code 10 for object on line 2106.
Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.
I created stream profiles in RASPLOT using its DXF Editor but when I try to open up the DXFs in AutoCAD I get the above error.
We have someone who doesn't need any cad fuctionality just the ability to view dwgs and occasionally print. I got to looking and found there are various versions of free DWG viewers. What is the easiest one to use? Esp for someone who doesn't normally use cad?

I have a button called (regen) to update data in these datagridviews. I read again database drawing and re-source again datagridview. (method "upload_all")

I only want to execute method "upload_all" if some alignment is modified in the drawing.
Also, I would like to do it if some alignment is just created or deleted.

I have some objects (corridor / intersection corridor / surface / grading ...) in civil 3d 2013...When we rotate the 3d objects , object rotate pivot point about (0,0,0, or any place x,y,(z=0)..So rotated 3d object (if the Z= High value) can't be seen / can be seen as a point.
how to change the object viewer pivot point ? (not using steering wheel or zoom extents because of first time rotating objects seen so far )
Any way to change the setting in Object Viewer that will let you orbit around the cursor instead of the center of the screen? In object viwer, orbit is only constrained around the middle of the screen. To me, it would make sense to have it rotate around the cursor like in model space.

In model space I grab my tin, then object viewer. Everything comes up then immediately on rotating my vie win the object viewer the surface disappears.

When I use Object Viewer to look at just feature lines and surfaces, the feature lines do not appear at the same elevation as the surface as I shift the view around. Why is that- especially since I am looking at the surface I created from those same feature lines?
is that a feature, intended to make it easier to discern the feature lines in Object Viewer? Or a quirk of my video card?
