AutoCAD 2013 :: Network License Manager Works With Any Versions?

I installed the Network License Manager in a Windows 2008 Server ( I installed theNLM using the CD of AutoCAD 2013). The AutoCAD 2013 works fine in the clientmachines, but the 2011 and 2012 version don´t. In the page of Autodesk, on ManageSerial Numbers, I can see the Serial Number for 2011, 2012 and 2013 Suites. Why theAutoCAD 2011/2012 don´t work in the client machines? Note: in the 2011/2012 versionappears the message " A valid license could not be obtained by the network licensemanager. If you are still unable to access a license, contact your systemadministrator. Error [-96.7.11001] ".

We're an IT company that installed a new NAS for all the data in a architectural office.They are using AutoCad 2011 / 2012 / 2013LT / Revit 2011
Since we installed the new NAS and copied all the data from the old one, opening and saving files takes too long. Sometimes the files hang while regenerating. Saving can take up to more then 4 minutes.
Other applications, for example photoshop, work fine. Copying files from the local disk to the network drive, even moren than 100MB works fine.All computers have windows 7 and the NAS is from Synologie.We tried reinstalling AutoCad but that doesn't solve the problem.We tried setting the savefidelity to 0 but that doesn't solve the problem.

I've installed the LM Tools license manager on a network server to distribute out floating license of AutoCAD 2010. The network license currently has 5 floating licenses for AutoCAD 2010. When I try and install the AutoCAD 2010 software on a client machine and go under "Install Tools and Utilities" I expect to see a choice for the Network License Activation Utility. Unfortunately all I get is the options to install the License Manager (LM Tools), CAD Manager Tools, and SAMreport-Lite. Nothing indicating an Activation Utility.
I may just be very oblivious but I'm not sure how to activate the program with the license server when I can't install the utility to do so. Am I missing a step somewhere? I have a feeling the answer is very obvious but I unfortunately can't see it. The SN and Product Key are entered correctly and should reflect the type of license(s) they are.

Currently, we have 3 stand alone license's and are wanting to reinstall AutoCAD 2012 for a network for various reasons. I uninstalled and installed the tools/utilities for a network license file however I just have our 3 stand alone licenses. Can I not use them in a file to be distributed by the server?

Here in my office we have several pc's running Inventor 2012 and we found out that when a network license is unavailable (the number of licenses is exceeded) then Inventor loses some of its configurations on OPTION window. The fields that are erased and put back to default:
- "General" Tab >> "Load VBA on start-up" is set to false;
- "General" Tab >> "Update physical properties on save" is set to false and "Parts and Assemblies" is unchecked;
- "File" Tab >> "Default VBA project" is set back to default;
- "Contet Center" Tab >> "Location of Libraries" is set to default
- Customized buttons on Ribbonbar loses its icons and we have to recreate them everytime it happens.
have a fix and a new implementation for the new versions to come?

Smoke 2013 looks amazing, but I can't manage to make it work both at my place and at my office. There is a problem with the stone + wire. I'm sure it has to do with the network settings or the host files, but I'm not familiar with these notions.

I'm trying to use the sample script for single network license located at - Script
The script says it's for AutoCad even though it's located under the Revit section of the Wiki. How I can modify this to work with Revit? Something like substitue "acad" with "revit," maybe?

I've downloaded and installed AutoCAD 2014 using one of our subscription licenses in order to review it before putting it on other machines (for the purpose of bug-checking and trying out new features). I also have a Map3D subscription license for which Autodesk offered me a free trial upgrade (for this subscription term) to Infrastructure Design Suite (IDS).
While going through the steps for installing IDS, I noticed that the IDS license includes a copy of AutoCAD. I cancelled it before installation and tried to use the LTU to export my current 2014 license. However, when I try to open the LTU, the Windows working icon spins for a bit then nothing happens. It works for my 2013 license but not 2014.

We have 5 seats of Autocad LT 2013 and I need to change/upgrade their pc. I need to deactivate the licenses so that i can transfer or activate to the new computer but License Export Confirmation is failed. the computer is connected to the internet. I tried many times but still no luck.

I have just upgraded to AutoCAD 2013. Now I have one AutoCAD 2013 and five copies of AutoCAD LT 2009. A strange problem started ovccuring after starting using of AutoCAD 2013. Quite a lot of files done with LT 2009 are not opening in AutoCAD 2013. When you tru to open this file, nothing happens and a blank new drawing is opened by AutoCAD 2013.
I have DWG TrueView from release 2010 to 2012. These files opened perfectly well in 2010 & 2012. So I downloded DWG TrueView 2013 and installed it to check whter my AutoCAD 2013 installation was faulty. These files do not open in DWG TrueView 2013 also.
I tried exporting the file to DXF in LT 2009 and then tried to open the DXF file in 2013. It gave a message that it could not read the file. The odd fact is that it is not happening with every file done in LT 2009. Some open and some do not.
In my opinion, this seems to be a serious bug in 2013. Any body else experinecing this? I am unable to attach any file as all the files are larger than 2 MB even after zipped and I cannot upload such a big file here.

I have created .dwg drawings in AutoCAD LT 2013 and have found that people with older versions of AutoCAD cannot open them. Is there a generic overall version of AutoCAD that I can save my drawings in that would be accessible to all versions of AutoCAD?

I have a newly downloaded version of AutoCAD LT 2013 that will not save files in older formats for autocad 2004 and 2007. When trying to save the user gets the following error message "One or more objects in the drawing cannot be saved to the specified format. The operation was not completed and no file was created."
I did some searching in the discussion groups and it appears that this is a known/common issue with autcad lt 2013. Is there a work around to saving it in a format that older autocad applications can view?

One of our drafters recently got a new computer. We installed AutoCAD 2013 on the new machine. He was using AutoCAD 2012 on the old machine.
After exporting the settings from 2012, I attempted to import them into 2013. The migrate tool throws an error that insinuates you must have the old version installed on the same computer in order to migrate the settings. The import tool states that it can only import settings from the same version of AutoCAD.
How does one go about importing settings from one computer running AutoCAD 2012 onto another computer running AutoCAD 2013?
(In particular, the user is looking to migrate over his custom tool palette.)

I received files in 2010 format which I converted to 2007 using true view.Now when I open in 2013 I get a message "file needs recovery" I recover and save. when I open again I get the same message in 2013.

Here I attached a sample drawing.
There is a wipeout on top of 2 blocks.
DRAWORDERCTL is set to 3.
But when I explode these 2 blocks, one block inherits the parent block draworder and stays below the wipeout while the other doesn't.

I am attaching a scroll work for doors that I am trying to draw. But I am having problem on the smoothness of the curves that I am trying to make. What I do is I draw a series of arcs to replicate the reference image also attached in this message. Also, when I print this into PDF, what happens is that the lines break where the arcs intersect in CAD, also attached here.

I am importing solidworks assembly files into AutoCAD 2014. They show up fine after importing them. It says the assembly is in inches but when i go into the individual parts blocks they are all 25.4 scale. Is there a way to not have all the parts scaled up when it is imported?

I have created a dynamic block which has hatchings in it.
In the block editor when I do a test of the block everyhting runs smoothly.
Howevfer when it is in model space it fails to keep the hatch boundary associativity. Even when the same dimensions are used as the block has as default.
Why would this be?

We keep things like fonts, plot styles, templates, custom menu on one of our network drives. I have noticed that we are losing these paths (in our options) quite frequently. I have checked profiles and workspaces and all seem to be correct. Is this a network issue? If our network drops connection, will these paths just go away?

today i decide to work in production with maya 2013 it's the begin of project 1 make one light mib amb occlusion to fzke fg one portail light for soft shadow one plane on the plane i try to apply bend deformer , don't work , all deformers don't work so come back to 2012 and now i'm very tired to see that , with the more basic tool , bug arrived so i was desapointer with this poor release but i think ok , they work to clean all the bugs.

I accidentally click/dragged the sheet set manager palette really quickly and it totally vanished...The thing is I googled this, and every solution involved going to the CUI, expanding "Palettes" in the workspace and realigning it etc
However there is no Sheet set manager in my palettes menu..Is it called something other than "sheet set manager"?Also I've tried typing every command, even did a repair install.
