I like to have the path display in the title bar at the top of the screen. I check the box to display it in options. It works! But the text is almost illegible in the title bar. The title bar is black, the text is black with some cloudy grey background. It is impossible to read. I can't seem to find anyplace to change it's appearance either.
View 4 RepliesA co-worker asked how to display the full drawing path in the window header. He said that it used to, now doesn't. I have never seen the full path of the drawing in the header before. Mine just says "AutoCAD Civil 3D 2013 (Drawing File Name) [Project Folder]"
I checked in Options, but didn't see anything.
Using PS CS6, Windows 7 x64.
I was under the impression that when hovering my mouse over the document title bar, I would see a tooltip showing the full file name, including the path. This isn't happening and I'm wondering if there is a way to do this. I know I can click File > Save As, or Ctrl+Shift-S to see the full path, but hovering over the title bar would be easier. (What I am seeing now in the tool tip is the file name, % magnification and which layer I have selected. Basically, the tool tip is just showing what's in the title bar without hovering.)
I was wondering if there was an option to set Inventor to display the full file path for the current file open ? At present I am only seeing a short description of the name of the active file - I wish to see it's full file path similar to what AutoCAD displays.

I have many drawings that were created with the xref's as full path and I need them to be relative path. I would just go in and reatch them as relative path but the drawings are complete and there are different layers frozen in each one.

The code displays the units used in template as a custom iproperty called "drawingUNITS". This code works great however, I would like it if possible to be more clearer to the shop guys looking at the drawings.
I would the result to be
ANSI = Imperial (or inches) and ANSI-mm = Metric

When I choose Open Drawing and the window pops up, it would be nice if the full path name of the file showed up on the bar where it shows the file name (see attachment). As it is I can't tell if this file is on my c drive or my back-up drive.
The individual drawings show the full path name once they're open, can the same be achieved with the Open Drawing window?

In PS CS4 Mac, I used to be able to print the full document info that appears in the title bar, including the currently selected layer/group. This would print at the top of my document and might look like:
File Name.psd 100% (layer name, RGB/8)
I always thought this was a function of selecting "Label" in the Output window of the print dialogue box. However, it does not seem to be working anymore, and now it simply prints the file name, like this:
File Name.psd
How can I turn this feature back on so that I get the entire document window? Or another method to accomplish something similar? I am printing individual layers from a single document and having them automatically "labeled" is useful.

Now some customisation functions are only available on the Full, so I download and install it but I can't find a way to import all those custom settings grom LT to Full...
Seems it works only from LT to LT or Full to Full..
Can IV be set up to show the file path to an open file in the IV window title bar (next to "Autodesk Inventor") like Autocad/MDT does?

Additionally, the camera can automatically create JPGs with a cropped ratio (e.g. 3:2 or 16:9). This is very useful because you can see the target format already on the camera screen (with black bars on top and bottom), which facilitates the composition. However, when processing the photos on the big screen afterwards, it often also facilitates the photo to adjust the ratio a little bit and therefore use the additional information saved in the bigger 4:3 RAW file. This works very well with many of the freely available software tools.
The problem found in Lightroom is now that it only shows the RAW photo in the cropped format and up to know I have found no way to display or use the full RAW format. So my question is: Which settings do I have to change to use the full format? What do I need to change?

View 1 Replies View RelatedOur company uses some third party software to track the number of plots being printed. In AutoCad there is an option to display the full file path of a drawing. I do not see the same setting in Revit. Only the drawing name is sent and recorded which makes it difficult to determine the correct project that should be billed for the plots (our project number is found in the file path).
Can this be enabled in Revit so the full path is sent when a user plots?

FATA ERROR: Cannot write to undo file (probably disk full).
Error: Unhandled Exception
There were some messages posted earlier in regard to this error. Most suggested cleaning temp directory, having more RAM, more graphics memory, etc. I have done everything but I could not overcome this problem. My system specifications are
16GB RAM, Windows 7 (64-bit), More than 100GB free disk space, NVIDIA GEforce GT-120 (512 MB).
I just recently received error from one of our customers regarding this kind of error (see attachment).
They are trying to reuse their own customized template to other PCs, they are copying these files to the template folder of Inventor. This method is successfully done in all of their pcs except for the two.
What the heck? Brand new machine and new autocad 2012 MEP install.
