May 4, 2011I cannot see the full spectrum of my document size in print preview. I have my document setup as 8ft. X 5 ft.
But when i try to see it in print preview it only shows my document between 3 1/2 ft. to 4 1/2 ft.

Oct 16, 2010I quite often need a separate ruler scale on each page of a multi-page document. The only way I know how to do this is to create a separate document for each drawing that requires a new scale.
I request that you add the ability to change the ruler scale on a per page basis within a single multi-page document.

Mar 14, 2014After moving a page in my document the master page elements no longer display on screen or in print. If I move the page to a different location in the document the master displays but if it is in the specific position that it needs to be it will not display. The document has multiple Masters and others do work on the page but the one that I need will not. I've tried deleting the page and adding a new one and that does not fix the problem. I've checked and "Hide Master Items" is not checked. The page in question is in position 48 with F-Master applied. If I move it to position 49 it works, 50, it works, 51, or any other it works. If I apply a different master to the page, it works. If I delete the page, add a new page and apply F-Master it still does not work. The only page that this problem is happening on is page 48.

Aug 8, 2011I have 2 issues to deal with. I have a poster I've created in 11x17 but I want to make sure that I get a full bleed when I send it over to the print shop, how would I do this?
issue#2: I will need to reduce the size of the 11x17 to a 5.6in width 7in height. How do I do this? The reason for the size reduction is because I need it for newspaper printing so I need to make sure to keep my 11x17.

If I hover over the JPG icon in connect I get a large thumbnail preview that is OK
I have F8 and repaired CD from disc and remove and Installed CD with no fix

Mar 28, 2012I've installed the Trial version of X6 but now I cannot see any thumnail previews.
I only get the Corel icon.
History: I have Corel X4 installed as well as I use a plugin called EngravePro and it does not work with X6,
so I still need to go back to X4 when I need the EngravePro features.
Could the thumnail issue be related to havin 2 different version installed?

Aug 5, 2013I've a problem to open an old X4-Coreldraw file. The first time I can open it - when I want to save this file CDraw says that the file will be changed to the X6 Version. I say OK and save the file. The 2nd time I'll try to open the X6 file again then the Error occurs! I changed my settings in CDraw to a local dir c: emp, also to a new drive - but nothing happens! All the drives have mor than 400 GB free space! I hope this will be enough.

Jan 12, 2012I have just had to install Windows 7 64 bit and now find that when I print to my HP Business Inkjet 2300, I can only print 1 page. If I set the quantity to 5, I still get just 1 page. HP won't be updating the driver as they say that the printer is obsolete although they are still selling it.

Nov 29, 2012I would like to export a page I am creating as a jpg. Right now, I have one object on the page, and its a .jpg object. When I export from the File menu, only the jpg is exported. How can I export the entire page? If I add text to the object (which will be a banner). it only exports the jpg, and and the exact space required by the text, not the entire page. I have been unable to find setting for exporting selected objects or entire page. I have another less powerful drawing program that gives options to export object, selection, or page.
If I create a box, and place it on the document, the whole thing will export, but if the pox is larger than the page, then entire box is still exported, where I only want the page dimensions exported so I can eventually arrange objects ont he box that will overlap the page dimesnsions, but only the page area should be exported as a jpg.
Should I be doing this as a powerclip? I haven't used that feature yet in CD. Then export the powerclip object?

Jun 29, 2012I'm currently working on an XP 32 bit system with AMD Athlon 64 3200+
CorelDraw is displaying a print preview but is otherwise completely idle. It has finished displaying the preview, so it is just waiting for user action but has nothing else to do.
Photopaint in another window was running extruciatingly slow so I checked task manager. CorelDraw.exe was showing to be using 98% of the CPU.
On further investigation, this happens only when the print preview is on the screen. I close the print preview, return to CorelDraw design screen and CPU is 0% when idle. I do another print preview -- 98% CPU again.
I'll try it later on a quad core system, but it seems that print preview should not be hogging the CPU when idle waiting for operator action.

Aug 22, 2011I have installed X5 along with all service packs on my main PC (Win 7 Ultimate 64bt) everything works fine and has done since first install. To use media brushes I click on..
Artistic Media > Calligraphy (for example) in the drop down menu > select a nib style from the next drop down that displays 'samples' of the various nibs. All fine.
As I am having to also work from home too at present, I have installed X5 on my study PC. I try exactly the same proceedure on this other machine (similar spec but Win 7 Pro 32bt) with same service packs, same install disc etc.. and all I get is blank boxes, no nib previews. This happens if I am using standard Corel media or 3rd party brushes??

May 19, 2013I use Corel Draw x6 running Vista Home Premium. In Windows Explorer, I've never been able to view CDR images as anything but icons. After reading a few forum posts, I experimented with changing the file associations to Windows Photo Gallery and then back again to CD x6. This didn't change the situation.
I've also run into a problem in Tools, Options, Global, Filters, associate. Associations with CDR and WMF won't stay. I check them, but the next time I open Filters, they are unchecked.
I just want to see a thumbnail of a CDR or WMF file before I open it in Corel Draw. I don't even have a preview pane in the open screen. Am I supposed to have a preview pane? All I have is File Name and File Format Type.
