I cannot see the full spectrum of my document size in print preview. I have my document setup as 8ft. X 5 ft.
But when i try to see it in print preview it only shows my document between 3 1/2 ft. to 4 1/2 ft.
I am using a vinyl cutter to cut out some roughly A3 sized artwork however when ether I go to print preview the size is reduced to A4. the settings are correct before, its just whenever i go to print preview mode. I have tried multiple settings but no change

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe are having issues with Corel X6: when we try print preview, the print preview window opens, but after we click print, it just crashes and that's it.
Both corel and Windows are updated, and the machine is clean.
I'm currently working on an XP 32 bit system with AMD Athlon 64 3200+
CorelDraw is displaying a print preview but is otherwise completely idle. It has finished displaying the preview, so it is just waiting for user action but has nothing else to do.
Photopaint in another window was running extruciatingly slow so I checked task manager. CorelDraw.exe was showing to be using 98% of the CPU.
On further investigation, this happens only when the print preview is on the screen. I close the print preview, return to CorelDraw design screen and CPU is 0% when idle. I do another print preview -- 98% CPU again.
I'll try it later on a quad core system, but it seems that print preview should not be hogging the CPU when idle waiting for operator action.
I have a rather large job, a book with 370 pages. when we want to reprint w/o any changes i would like to turn off the print preview to eliminate the delay.
How to bypass the print preview?
I have 2 issues to deal with. I have a poster I've created in 11x17 but I want to make sure that I get a full bleed when I send it over to the print shop, how would I do this?
issue#2: I will need to reduce the size of the 11x17 to a 5.6in width 7in height. How do I do this? The reason for the size reduction is because I need it for newspaper printing so I need to make sure to keep my 11x17.
Just loaded Draw Graphics Sute X5 on a secondary computer running Vista. CDR file shows up correctly in print preview, but bitmap portions of document do not print.

On one layout, some items on a printable layer do not appear on the Print Preview. The page contains a monochrome bitmap, some text and a curve. Only the bitmap appears on the print preview, yet everything prints.
It doesn't happen with every job. Not a big deal on this job, but there will soon come a time when I need to know what will and will not print.
I just installed X5 and I'm opening files from ver 11. It's all opening fine, but when I click on anything, the screen flashes pale blue. When I look at a print preview - it's ALL a blue tint. Can't work with that. I'm running Windows 8.

I do a select all to see what nodes show up outside the page - none. Print Preview doesn't show what will be cropped.

When I export or publish to pdf from CorelDraw X6 the document size changes.If lets say i export an A4 page and then inport it again the size of the page has changed from 210x297 to 209,903 x 296,686 !
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am ready to print my stuff. But I have to manually use the pick tool in the print preview window to move my pages around so that they will print the stuff in the center of the pages.
I do my print run. And then save the "Print style".
Come back the next day and I have to re-do all the adjusting of the work again so that it all gets printed. I would have thought that saving a print style would make it so that next time everything is the same as before.
I am wondering, if is possible to move content of print preview window. View picture for better understanding. In version X4 it was possible.

I make the correction - go back into Print Preview and all options have gone back to default. Is there anyway of correcting this.
I have the list of x,y coordinates for the CIE colour spectrum. How do I import the list so as to draw the spectrum curve?? The curve is the horseshoe shaped curve shown in the figure below [not the straight lines which are colours boundaries] that contains all the spectrum colours. Seems to me I should be able to import the list somehow and CorelDraw would then produce the line.

when I create a new blank document, it size always become multiply of 10 (example Page size A4 = 2100mm x 2970mm) and in the document, when I draw a new object, it will automatical multiply with 10, too. I'm using Windows 7, and I never seen this problem before, when I using Windows XP!
No matter what size doc I create when I go to print it only shows letter size. Tried re-saving, changed page layout, etc. with no luck. If I press print I get a page size missmatch error.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am making a booklet up. I have set the workspace paper size to A5 landscape. And set to booklet and facing pages, great, that is a whole lot of hassle dealt with.
But,
I make up my design, looks good on the screen. Export to pdf and print it off and it is printing one page of my work on a single page of A4 paper full size. i.e. I need it printed onto A4 paper in landscape so that I have a left page and a right page, that I can fold in half. But it is just printing like normal.
What do I have to do to get it two print two pages of information onto a single A4 landscape rotated piece of paper?
I make an image 15.8 x 29.8 and when it prints out on my canon 8300 it is only 15.5 x 29.5 actual size measured on the canvas. the image is designed to wrap over the edge of stretchers 15 x29. the pics are 3 tenths inch short!
another pic is 15.5 x 29.25 instead of 15.5 x 29.5 so it is 1/4 inch short the long direction.don't recall having this problem before so why are the images not the same size in print that they are on the screen?
