AutoCAD 2010 :: Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers For Windows 7 Crashes With 2012
Jun 3, 2011
I bought a new laptop Asus k73SV-TY081V version. When i'm working with autoCAD 2012, my videocard crashes and i get a message: "Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows 7® stopped responding and has successfully recovered"
When using Photoshop CS6 on Windows 8 [Surface Pro], it randomly crashes. I normally can only use Photoshop for less than a minute, doing less than ten actions, before it crashes. I get an error message saying "Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working." If I debug it using Visual Studio, I get this message: Â Unhandled exception at 0x5442B60E (ig7icd32.dll) in Photoshop.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000002C. Â I looked up ig7icd32.dll and it seems to be published by Intel and related to my graphics hardware, so I assume the problem is related to my Intel HD Graphics 4000.how to fix this problem or as to what might be causing it? Â EDIT:Also, when launching Photoshop, I get this message: Â Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled enhancements which use the graphics hardware. Check the manufacturer's website for the latest software. Â Graphics hardware enhancements can be enabled in the performance panel of preferences. For more information, visit:[URL]...All my drivers are fully updated, and all Windows updates are installed. No other applications have any problems with my graphics hardware.
We have been running Windows XP-Pro (32 Bit) withAutocad Mechanical 2011 using a Calcomp Drawing Board-III and the TWSER2kXp.exe driver, everything is running fine. We want to switch over to Window-7 running 64 Bit and I want to know if our older driver will work as before and if not what driver do I need to use to define the tablet areas of the menu and be able to use our 16 button pucks.
When I open a .dwg file from a saved location auto cad crashes about 35% of the way through loading. I did not have this problem when I was running Windowws XP but now I am running Windows 7.
I recently loaded several versions of AutoCAD on to a Windows 7 machine. ALL versions will open a drawing if double-clicked from windows explorer, but if I try to open through AutoCAD, the program freezes as soon as I click on the "Open" button. This is true for AutoCAD 2010 through 2012.
Machine Specs:
Dell Optiplex 990 250GB HD 8GB Ram I7-2600 proc AMD Radeon HD 6670 (1Gb) Video Card
I also cannot open multiple instances of ANY version of AutoCAD in Windows 7.
why our copies of AutoCAD MEP 2012 seem to hang when loading the default dwt files? On the splash screen it details all the files being loaded and when it gets to the dwt file it just hangs at 0%. In the windows task manager, acad.exe stops using memory (around 90megs) and the cpu stops too. It's get's really frustrating, especially as it only seems to affect our new Dell Optiplex's and a couple of our old Dell Precisions. Some of them work first time every time, no probs. All PC's are Windows 7 Pro 64bit and running the latest service packs for AutoCAD.
We are running Autocad 2012 on Windows 7 and printing to an HP5200 via server mapping in three different labs.
Had a similar problem before and changed the printer drivers from Universal back to PCL5. Â Since Christmas however this problem seems to have come back. Â We haven't changed anything. Â Wondering if maybe there were patches or something that affected this?? Â When we preview or send a print job Autocad just greys out and crashes. Â I do know that if we configure the computer to print via TCPIP it also works fine but this is not ideal with the number of computers and students we have.
Another thing we seemed to have noticed is that we don't have this problem with all printers but more oddly we noticed that when we change the default template some templates work and some don't.
By default we are set up to use the acadiso template as we are using the metric system - we can't get anything to plot using this. Â If we start with the standard acad template we do not have this problem. Â We have tried plotting a simple circle or a more complex drawing with the same result. Â The sample files plot fine but I'm guessing they were likely not done in metric...
I created and replaced a dwt in 2013. tried opening it in 2012 and it crashes with a "fatal error: unhandled access violation writing 0xec307ff8 exception at ec307ff8h". I restored to whole folder with our dwts to before I created them. and still crashes with 2012. they open fine in 2013.  Dell t1500 i7 8 gb ram Windows 7 64 bit ati firepro v4800
When I start Reference Manager, the program window opens but at the same moment a message window opens saying 'AutoCAD component has stopped working Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...'. A solution is not found, so I can only select 'Close program', and the program closes. I have run Reference Manager successfully a few weeks ago, and after that I haven't installed or removed Autodesk programs. I have Windows 7 64-bit, AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 SP2 and Factory Design Suite Ultimate 2013. I cannot use Reference Manager 2013 (which works) because it saves the files in 2013 format.
In Windows Control Panel / Troubleshooting I found a file with the following text:
Having trouble with AutoCAD 2012 when saving to earlier versions? I can't save it down to any other version except for 2012, without the system crashing completely.
Also, from time to time we get the crash when editing MText.
I just downloaded the windows 8 preview and I’m trying to download AutoCAD 2012 put I keep getting an error during the instillation so it’s not downloading.
Ihave windows 8 consumer preview and i installed autocad 2012 but when i open autocad 2012, ribbon dont appear, when i write the command ribbon but appear a message like this " Unhandled exception has ocurred in a component in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error anda attempt to continue.
Common Languaje Runtime detected an invalid program"
In Attachment , i put the image of the problem....
I just built this brand new computer and everytime I open up Photoshop CC it first promps me with a message that 3d features require a minimum of 512mb of vRam and it has detected less on my system. I then go into Edit>Preference>Performance and under Graphics Processor Settings it says that it is Unable to detect information and that photoshop has detected an error in my display driver.
This is a brand new computer the specs are:  Windows 8 Pro - 64bit Intel Core i5-3570k CPU @ 3.40GHz Ram: 16 GB Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series  I updated my graphics driver via the Radeon site and it is version: 12.104-130328a-159787C-ATI.  I even rolled back to previous versions of my display driver and still nothing. I also tried out CS6 and CS5 and I still have the same problems.  Also here is the system info via photoshop:  Adobe Photoshop Version: 14.0 (14.0 20130423.r.221 2013/04/23:23:00:00) x64 Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit Version: 6.2 System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:10, Stepping:9 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1, SSE4.2 Physical processor count: 4 Processor speed: 3400 MHz Built-in memory: 16268 MB Free memory: 13062 MB
I have the entire subscription of  'Corel 6X'. I have been using it for a few months with no problems, even after I did the 8.1 update. Now all programs will load and run except for 'Draw 6X', it starts to load and then it will start to 'load environment' and then crash. As I said above, every other part of the suite open and run fine.
I can give you no information about updates or version as it won't load so I could check for updates. I searched for other post, and it returned no other similar problems listed for 'Draw 6X'. If I get no answers I'll just un/re install that program itself and see if that fixes things.
I am on a Dell PC with plenty of everything running Win 8.1 64 bit and running the online yearly subscription of 'CorelDraw 6X' 64 bit version that was up to date and working fine on 8.1 fine for more than a month. Now the 'splash' screen shows and gets to 'loading environment' and then the quaint Win window comes out 'There is a problem and windows has to close this program'.
I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 7 64 bit OS, and installed the CorelDraw X5(worked fine on an older XP machine) Â on it, the application crashes every time when the progress showing "Creating Application Environment". I tried to run it under XP compatible mode, tthe only difference is now the Regstration works, but the app still crashes every time.Â
Quick question on driver updates. Do I still need to update the "Graphics Databases" XML files when I update the graphics drivers on an Inventor and/or AutoCAD 2013 or 2014 workstation? If so, where can I find the latest versions of the XML files?
It used to be easy to get the databases, they where provided with the drivers on the Autodesk Certified Hardware website. Now, I can't find them anywhere.
Except for the minor/temporary glitch back in 2009, we have had very good luck with Riverbed/Steelhead devices for accelerating DWG file access over a MPLS WAN connection.Â
When accessing Sheetset (DST) files on a remote server across the WAN, a DBL file appears alongside the DST and from that point on, the remote user has excluside R/W access to the DST file which prevents any other user from accessing the sheet set concurrently. Â
On the LAN that is local to the server, this problem never exists until the DST file is accessed in any of several remote locations.
how the latest generation of Intel integrated video performs in Photoshop, Intel HD Graphics 4400 specifically? Does it support Photoshop acceleration, OpenCL etc?
How many graphic memory can it handle? Who is better performer, Intel HD Graphics 4400 or Radeon 6600M?
I am thinking of getting a new laptop that uses the Intel 4500hmd video processor. This uses shared memory, but the laptop would come with 4GB RAM and run with the Vista 64 bit OS. The latest Intel driver claims the 4500 has open GL 2.0. Has anyone on the forum used the Intel 4500HMD successfuly with Photoshop CS4.Â
In preferences, performance, I set "enable OpenGL Drawing". It listed my graphics card "Nvidia Corporation GEForce 7900 GTX/PCI/SSE2"
I tried the rotation and zooming features and they worked well.
As soon as I tried to apply a filter, such as 'filter gallery' or liquify, no preview image shows in the filter screen. It is just white. The controls work, showing I am zooming in, but no image"
Software: ACAD LT 2010. Recently I upgraded to a new computer and Windows 7, from Win XP. Now ACAD is lagging and dragging. Also, sometime it takes forever to open a file.Â
I'm a graphic designer on a terribly limited budget and need a new laptop.I've been looking at the Lenovo G580 laptop, which has:
8GB RAM, 3rd Generation Intel Core i5-3210M Processor( 2.50GHz 1600MHz 3MB)Intel HD Graphics 4000. Ever tried the Intel HD Graphics 4000 on CS5.5, with emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign?
I'm just wondering if it is normal I don't have the 3D feature in Photoshop CS6. I had it installed in my old laptop (an old one with a AMD Vision processor) and the 3D option was available, but after I moved all my old programs to my new one (a Windows 7, 64 bits, Intel Core i5, Intel HD 3000 Graphics video card) this option is not available. I dunno if it's due to the fact that OpenCL is not available in my laptop or if it's anything else.
I have a brand new HP Probook 4530s with the correct requirements to run LT 2012 as well as a certified and tested graphics card and latest drivers, but as soon as I try using offset or trim functions while drawing, my screen goes blank for about 4 seconds and an error message below tells me my Display Driver has stopped working and has recovered.
No matter the screen resolution settings, it still does the same, also the laptop is still cool, so can't be a heat issue.
My work helpdesk has recently installed AutoCad 2012 and my co worker and I noticed that at the start up its loads very slowly and often when we double click on a DWG to open (without Autocad being already open) it crashes.
AutoCAD C3D 2012 has been crashing nonstop over the past 3 days on me whenever I try to "Create a Feature Line from Object". I know that it is a localized problem as a co-worker has been in the same drawing and done grading work without any problems. The error has occurred in multiple drawings.Â
