Managed to revert the select by name which I like better as it is simple.

When I am browsing to open drawings for some reson the back button doesn't work with the ACA2011 file browser. The mouse button works fine with all other applications so am I correct to assume something is wrong with the ACA file browser?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe finally got the time to install 2012. We have been using it a couple weeks now and I am stumped. I have custom iLogic forms I made so I like to keep the iLogic browser panel open and docked above my browser panel so I can get them quickly. Every morning when I come in the iLogic panel is either not docked where I had it or is turned off. Sometimes I can have a model or drawing open and everything is ok.
But When I open another part and close it and go back to what I was working on it will have moved to the other side of my screen, become side by side with the browser panel or just plain turned itself off. This is one of those small things that is slowly whittling away at my sanity. Any way to "Lock" all panels location and visibility so that no one by any means can move or edit them? Why even closing a drawing will cause them to move?
AutoCad 2012 and 13- PROJECT NAVIGATOR or project browser disappears in Classic view.
We are running 2012 and like the look of the older versions. We are using the Autocad Classic workspace, BUT the Project Browser and all that jazz is missing. Where or how do i get it back?
I just migrated from 2006 to 2012... I was able to get my old custom tool palettes into 2012 by opening the Content Browser and idropping them. However I noticed that these palettes are not 'refreshable' like they used to be. In the Palette Properties it says *This palette is not shared from a catalog*... after doing a search of that message in these forums I found this thread: [URL]....
I followed David's instructions:
1. Created a new Palette Group
2. Created a new palette in that Group
3. i-dropped tools from my custom catalog in the Content Browser onto that new palette.
Still there is no 'refresh' option...???
These are the reasons why I went back from GIMP 2.8 to GIMP 2.6.x:
1.) The free text field in the "Open file" view has been removed, or at least I couldn't find it. A frequent use case for me is to copy a fully qualified file name (i.e. including the path) of an image and to paste it to the "open file" view of GIMP... Not possible anymore? Why? Progress IMHO is if possibilities grow, not if they disappear.
2.) I open a JPEG and I want to save(!) it as JPEG. Why is GIMP starting to domineer over the user now (like e.g. MS Windows has been doing all the time) by changing the file type to XCF and forcing the user to "export" the image (that was opened as a JPEG!) if he wants to save it as a JPEG again? Progress IMHO is if things get easier, not if they get more complicated.
3.) The calculation of the image size of JPEGs when saving in preview mode is buggy, i.e. the size is way too high (GBs instead if MBs). Of course, this is only a minor bug which will be fixed soon (if it isn't already). I just wanted to note it.
how to get the little green rotate circle back in C3D 2012 and 2013?
When you click on a point in 2011 (at least my setup), there is a little green circle that pops up that I can click on and rotate the point around. In 2012, I have to click on the point, then right click on it, then select rotate label, only then can I rotate the thing.

I opened the drawing and then from the drawing opened the model. In the drawing it is showing the 4th instance of ROUND CRS-032175 X 33 as an assembly. It also is not showing in the view and yet the visibility is checked. AI2012 SP2

When I press F1 Inventor opens the help on my default browser (Chrome), but when I click the bynocular it uses Internet Explorer.

So that the colors I get in Ps is the exact same value I get in the browser.
Color profiles must play a role in it.

I can't get my file browser to work correctly. It was working great before. On the top right, all I see is the plus sign and the work Desktop, where is used to see the whole tree structure of folders and such. The other windows in the browser are working...just not the top left. I can't expand the + sign when I click it. When I do, I get a Photoshop error message that says "Could not complete your request because of a program error". I have WIndows Vista Home Basic. I know that sucks but it was working for a long time with it. Also 2 gigs of ram.

I have been using two monitors for some time, having all my tool palettes on one monitor and using the other monitor for photo editing. I would like to have the File Browser on the second monitor with my tool palettes, so I could leave it open all the time. I haven't found a way to move the file browser to the second monitor.
I can click and drag the tool palettes from one monitor to the other with the mouse, but when I click in the title bar of the file browser and try to drag it to monitor no. 2, it will only move off the edge of one monitor, and not move over to the next. Anyone have a suggestion of how to move the file browser from monitor one to monitor two?
I am wondering how to use the plug in browser as if I am correct a plug in that is properly installed should show here and the tree view show where to access it.
Under file -->create -->buttons we have round buttons and simple beveled buttons but in the plug in browser tree view they come under file -->create .
Some of the plugins that do show up (3D outline) are temporary procedures. many others I cant even find (speed text). Is the problem the plug in browser or me if me where am I wrong ?

Pops up a help page (usually several) in a browser. Seems to occur primarily when the fx (layer style) pane is open.
Under some circumstances, whenever I open the color dialog (maybe others can't remember) for some reason I don't know Photoshop opens the Help Site in a browser... it does not just once, but maybe dozens of times.
This is an annoying bug that has existed for many Photoshop versions. Keyboard layout is Icelandic.
