How do I change the Browser under file to give me the Browser under Photoshop 7.0 instead of Bridge in PS CS3? I need the functions that the Browser of PS 7.0 provides.
I'm using Window XP SP2
I did a search on the 2011 forum and could not find the thread on getting the old map browser back.
Is this even possible in Max 2012 Design?
Managed to revert the select by name which I like better as it is simple.
Feel the same way about the old material map browser.
While initially looking at mini bridge after installing CS6,I closed it. how to open it again. I've looked at all the tools on the top panel. It's nowhere to be found. Timeline is (and what is that???) but not mini bridge. And while we are at it, what IS timeline.

Now you close an image, and you stay in Photoshop with a blank screen.
You have to go to the dock, and click Bridge.
How can I get the CS5 way back, so I don't have to do two unnecessary steps each time?
When I am browsing to open drawings for some reson the back button doesn't work with the ACA2011 file browser. The mouse button works fine with all other applications so am I correct to assume something is wrong with the ACA file browser?

It makes it almost unusable if you can’t trust the description. How do others handle this? I know about browser rename but that won't work because it defaults back when you close and reopen.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have PS CS6, Bridge 7, and Win 7. I recently installed a copy of PS Elements 10 which I had never used simply to work with a friend who was having difficulties with the program.
Now however, when I right-click on an image in Bridge the only option for "Open with" is Elements 10. How can I get back CS6 as an option? Or even the only option?
I run an action to prepare my photos for FB, 500px, Photo.net, etc., which reduces image size 960 x ?, 8-bit, sRGB, and 72 dpi. I then sharpen and add copyright info. However, when I use "Save to Web" it reduces the size of the photo and strips metadata for faster loading but reverts back to a 300 dpi resolution.

After changing to these shortcuts I save them but each time I restart Photo-show they have changed back to their original settings. How can I stop this happening?

What happens to older part materials that were created by customer when you upgrade (or downgrade as it has been for our company) from 2011 to 2013.
I am working with a drawing done by an architect. It is a map tile with a site layout drawn on. The way it is rotated, north is actually pointing somewhere east. I reckon they have shifted the UCS for whatever reason, and the cursor has become that rotated red and green crosshairs.
How can I change it back so the north of the map tile is actually pointing north?
I have a couple of floating licenses for an old inventor series 11 product. The license server is down and I need to change these licenses back to standalone licenses. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling as standalone but it will not let me activate the software with the serial numbers on the back of the packaging.

Everything seemed to install just fine, but when I open LR4, the new whites highlights shadows blacks sliders instantly turn back to the old LR3 recovery fill light sliders....I see them for about 3 seconds and they change right before my eyes.

I can change the option but if I click off the image the options go back to grey scale. The doc colour set up is cmyk. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a drawing with several dynamic blocks (over 1000 block references) with visibility states. I recently noticed that all of the blocks no longer have the option to change the visibility state (i.e. the upside down blue triangle no longer appears when clicking on the block).
If I insert a new block it comes in with the option to change the visibility state. However, the previously placed blocks still do not have the option of changing the visibilty state. Even if I update the definition of all block references in my drawing nothing changes with the previously placed blocks.
Is there an option/command to bring back the option of changing visibility states on my previously placed blocks?
I opened the drawing and then from the drawing opened the model. In the drawing it is showing the 4th instance of ROUND CRS-032175 X 33 as an assembly. It also is not showing in the view and yet the visibility is checked. AI2012 SP2

When I press F1 Inventor opens the help on my default browser (Chrome), but when I click the bynocular it uses Internet Explorer.
Is it possible to force Inventor to use a browser of my choice or the default browser?

After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.
