Sep 26, 2012For an unknown reason, before I save an image for the web, I commonly preview the image in a browser. Now it seems to be applying the image as a tiled background image in browser preview. Where can I change this setting?

Sep 28, 2013Before, whilst in Google Inspect on any webpage I could drag an image onto the Photoshop application icon on the dock = opens up in Photoshop + with PNG transparency.
Now this has stopped working for an unknown reason about 2-3 months ago after updating. I'll drag the image over the application icon on the dock as before, but then nothing opens. As a result, my workflow is now more inefficient and inconvenient.
Photoshop :: Extracted Image Displays Differently In Browser Than CS5?
Jan 18, 2013[URL]What I want to do is to extract the girl's image and save it with a transparent background as a gif, and then put it up on the web page I've created, which has a dark grey gradient background.
The problem is when I do that, the contour of the girl's image contains a lot of white space and what appears like brush strokes! The white space doesn't show up at all while I'm using the Refine Radius tool on a black background. It also doesn't show up when I save the image as a gif on a dark background layer in Photoshop. It only appears when I save it on a transparent background and display it on my web page!

Apr 11, 2005I have my PS CS file browser preferences set to "High Quality Previews" and the previews look great--sharp and crisp! However, when I actually open up the image it doesn't seem as sharp--it's a little soft.
What is the "high quality preview" doing to make it look so sharp? Does anyone know what settings the preview is using?
I want my actual images to look as sharp as the previews! It seems like a major teaser that the preview looks BETTER than the opened image.

So that the colors I get in Ps is the exact same value I get in the browser.

Jan 10, 2009I can't get my file browser to work correctly. It was working great before. On the top right, all I see is the plus sign and the work Desktop, where is used to see the whole tree structure of folders and such. The other windows in the browser are working...just not the top left. I can't expand the + sign when I click it. When I do, I get a Photoshop error message that says "Could not complete your request because of a program error". I have WIndows Vista Home Basic. I know that sucks but it was working for a long time with it. Also 2 gigs of ram.

I have been using two monitors for some time, having all my tool palettes on one monitor and using the other monitor for photo editing. I would like to have the File Browser on the second monitor with my tool palettes, so I could leave it open all the time. I haven't found a way to move the file browser to the second monitor.
I can click and drag the tool palettes from one monitor to the other with the mouse, but when I click in the title bar of the file browser and try to drag it to monitor no. 2, it will only move off the edge of one monitor, and not move over to the next. Anyone have a suggestion of how to move the file browser from monitor one to monitor two?

However, these images appear normal when opened in Photoshop or in Windows Photo Viewer. If I do ALL the editing in Photoshop alone, these images appear fine when viewed in a browser. Jun 13, 2012when I go into "Save for web and devices" the buttons where save, cancel, and preview should be are cut off. Expanding the page doesn't work either. I checked Adobe's resolution requirements and mine are up to par as far as I know. Escape takes me back to my window and enter/return will save it, but so far nothing to preview it. It's frustrating because I use the preview in browser feature often. I just switched to Mac from PC about a month ago and never had this problem on my Dell. I'm running CS.5 on the Lion OS.
Also, is there a way to create a new keyboard shortcut for this if one doesn't already exist? I tried exploring it for myself but I didn't see an option to create one for the preview in browser feature, or even how to make a new one.
