When I press F1 Inventor opens the help on my default browser (Chrome), but when I click the bynocular it uses Internet Explorer.
Is it possible to force Inventor to use a browser of my choice or the default browser?
I have Inventor 2014 installed. My O/S is Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The program has been working fine until recently. Now, I keep getting "cannot read texture image". I read all the solutions I found in the discussion group but, I cannot figure out how to resolve the problem with the solutions given. Should I uninstall and reinstall the program. All the files were opening as they should but then out of the blue I started getting this message for every file I tried to open.

How do i slice it up and put it in dreamweaver so that this is accomplished?
I'm still new to PS and don't even know where to start! I have an image, it's a logo and is just a 3D letter H. I have been able to use pattern fills to create different version of the logo with different pattern fills. I am oddly enough trying to fill the "H" with the texture of a roast turkey from another image. I can isolate the outline of the letter that I want to fill but I'm not sure how to fill it. I've tried rubber stamping but that doesn't seem to work for me.

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor an unknown reason, before I save an image for the web, I commonly preview the image in a browser. Now it seems to be applying the image as a tiled background image in browser preview. Where can I change this setting?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I make an image in photoshop the coloring is great. Then when I save it and view it through the browser it is way darker then in photshop. I know that photoshop has it's own gamma settings but I don't know how to fix it to where what I make in photoshop to be the same in a browser.
View 2 Replies View RelatedBefore, whilst in Google Inspect on any webpage I could drag an image onto the Photoshop application icon on the dock = opens up in Photoshop + with PNG transparency.
Now this has stopped working for an unknown reason about 2-3 months ago after updating. I'll drag the image over the application icon on the dock as before, but then nothing opens. As a result, my workflow is now more inefficient and inconvenient.

View 2 Replies View Related[URL]What I want to do is to extract the girl's image and save it with a transparent background as a gif, and then put it up on the web page I've created, which has a dark grey gradient background.
The problem is when I do that, the contour of the girl's image contains a lot of white space and what appears like brush strokes! The white space doesn't show up at all while I'm using the Refine Radius tool on a black background. It also doesn't show up when I save the image as a gif on a dark background layer in Photoshop. It only appears when I save it on a transparent background and display it on my web page!
Here's the image, saved on a dark background:

I have my PS CS file browser preferences set to "High Quality Previews" and the previews look great--sharp and crisp! However, when I actually open up the image it doesn't seem as sharp--it's a little soft.
What is the "high quality preview" doing to make it look so sharp? Does anyone know what settings the preview is using?
I want my actual images to look as sharp as the previews! It seems like a major teaser that the preview looks BETTER than the opened image.
My Photoshop Elements browser won't display my Photoshop image files. If I click on browse the files all relate to general computer files. How do I get it back?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI like the option of doing an IBL Lighting effect, but when I add a new texture image it is scaled so LARGE that I don't get any of the details of that image in my reflections, etc.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to know how I can put a pattern on an image. It needs to be an image with a transparent background. For example, this image (that I found on Google):
(this is a huge picture, I am just using it as an example).
Its a PNG image. Its a star template, filled with a pattern of stars....how can I do this using Gimp? I want to make different stars like this one..some with cheetah pattern, some with zebra pattern etc.
I know it has to do with the layers or something
Also, does Gimp come with templates I can use? Like a star, for instance?
I'm importing two separately made images to Photoshop; both made from Sketchbook Pro on the i Pad. One is a background, the other is just a doodle. (background)
(original doodle)
What I've done so far is use "Color Range..." to remove just the black, then apply the "Darken" effect within the Layers Palette.(current view)
What I must know is how to use my doodle layer as a mask; to use the texture from the background image in the doodles brush strokes, but not be seen in the areas that used to be black.
I aim to use this effect in many kinds of imported images made from my i Pad, as well as handwritten graphics. I trust this would be very simple to use with actual typed-out text, but I'm having difficulty to find pre-existing solutions.
I am very new to corel paint and accidentally added a horrible texture to an image - how to remove the texture.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am restoring a very old photograph with all the familiar Photoshop tools (Healing Brush, Clone Stamp, Curves, and Noise Reduction). My image restoration has one need that I am not familiar with. The photograph was scanned from a textured print, which appears as a bas relief (like a canvas). I would like to remove this texture to help remove the noise and sharpen the photo. Please let me know any techniques for removing this moir?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI saw a max demo at a show where they shattered the wall in a video/photo. The artist baked the background image to three planes (floor and two walls) like shown in the illustration, and then exploded one of these planes. It involved some kind of texture baking, but I didn't catch the whole process.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor my 3D scene, I have to use a texture file on the floor. If I use the only file, than it looks really boring and below par. What I want is, I want to generate some (around 6-8) texture files within the original texture file - so the colors of all the texture files remain same but only the texture varies.Likewise there are more than 500 texture files and I just can't do them manually. Is there any way out to do this in Photoshop?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a lava texture and a ground texture. I'd like to be able to make some cracks on the ground texture that would show through the lava texture below it. Something like a cracked mud look. I would be using this for a game I'm making form some terrain textures. Are there any plugins that would aid in making these transparent cracks and perhaps even add depth to the cracks?
I guess a spider web where the spider was on crack would be something I'm looking for. Similar to the following image:

remove the background/textured images from these patterns?
(the first image has a globe shap that i want to remove and the second has a hand with pointed finger.)
I want to keep the pattern because it creates a transparent/glassy effect, but when i tried to flatten the image thourgh the layer menu it shows up white (with the shapes i want to remove) without the transparent effect.
Well..i did'nt know where to put this. I want to recolour a wooden image but the colour overlaps its natural texture. Any solution for this?

How do I overlay a grungy texture, so the letters look 'older'?I tried making the texture image the top layer in the list on the right and then this: right click -> layer -> transparency -> color to alpha. But then, the 'see-through' texture covers the entire square transparent background! Not just the letters...So, how do I add a transparent texture layer over a shaped image that has a transparent background?
