I created 2 new control bars. Each is 2 icons wide (double column). When I drag these new bars to anchor then on the left edge they snap to a single column and I can't get them to stay 2 columns wide.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI'm exporting to PDF from DP7 using the commercial print settings. There is one layer of text on top of another of color bars. Where the edge of the top layer of text ends there is a step made in the color bars that shouldn't be there (see attached). I tried grouping first but the step is worse.

a) I am not able to create a new on of my own, I have to again and again drag and drift a navigation bar from the Designers Gallery, and right click and more buttons to it . What If I want to create a button of my own design ???
b) Even after selecting the navigation bar, I am not able to change the colour of the background as well as the text, am not able to change the font size of the text, the font type am also not able to change, even If I go the the menu style tab of the navigation properties tab. How do I change these specifications ?
I have got a logo that is 451 x197. It has a resolution of 72 px. I am trying to increase the resolution so that I can use the image for business cards and letterhead.
I need for the image to have a width of about 2500 pixels. If I scale the image to 2500 pixels the edges look pixelized or blurry.
My question is: Is there a way that I can make the 471 px logo stretch to 2500 px and still have sharp edges?
I want to put a double outline of two different colours around text, one coloured and one black. How do I do it?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I double click an object in Xara Pro X sometimes it opens the object in a new file.
I say sometimes because it doesn't do it under all circumstances. I think it is just on some cloned objects. I normally use double click on an object as a shortcut to the shape tool (used to be called shape editor tool). Even though it only does it on some objects, when it decides to do this it is consistent for that object.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am working on an animated gif, and so with bitmaps, to which I am adding text in Xara.All of the text that I create seems to want to be gray. I have tried changing transparency, I have tried setting my default color, and changing the color of the text.I have also checked to make sure that the text is not set to transparent. If I select the text, and then the transparency tool, it shows "No transparency", and the transparency is set at 0 percent. It is interesting that, if I move the percent transparency above 0 percent and then back down to 0 percent, it changes to "None" in stead of "No transparency". Is "None" the same is "No transparency"?

When I try to change the width to 1920 the height adjusts as well. I know there is a simple fix for this but I can't find it.

What is the normal way to cause the printed product to cut off at the desired edge?
In this case the blue noisy bkg is the exact size of what is supposed to get printed.
what does it depends that how many control points are on an object in Designer Pro as default?
For example in Shape Tool creating a horizontal line (click and somewhere beside CTRL - click), at me it creates control points at the end of the lines plus two ones on the line.
That is super anyway because immediately can be seen where is the 33% of the line length, but could be set somehow this that how many control point should be as default?

The only colors that currently appear are shades of reds/purples and yellows/greens. If I scroll across from left to right the same colors just keep repeating themselves. There are no shades of gray or blue. Can I somehow preset the colors that appear or do I have no control over what colors scroll across the bottom.

Using AutoCAD 2013 and TOL command to generate feature control frames. We set our lineweights based on layer assignments.
Problem is that when printing, AutoCAD seems to randomly assign a lineweight to the feature control frames. It can vary from what it's supposed to be (such as lineweight set for the dimension layer) or thicker than even what the object lines are set at. Seems to pick a random linewieght at time of printing for these elements (just the boxes, not the symbols/text itself).
Is there a setting we should be defining somewhere to force it to follow the lineweight of the layer that it has been assigned to? Known bug?
Everytime i press the shift key and quotation mark key for the double quotation mark to display on my text on PS cs5 doesn't work. It display a double arrow instead.
View 4 Replies View RelatedA very similar problem as discussed, but not solved before:[URL]...Planar 26-inch Wide gamut LCD, Eye One Display 2 and latest Lightroom. Just upgraded to Win7 64bit and kaboom. After hardware calibration and profiling all colors in Windows looks great but pictures from my camera (GF2) look dull in LR and don't match what I see when save for Web and look through the web.
Same images opened on calibrated XP machine looks fine, all colors are as expected. If I don't use hardware calibration on Win7 machine and just tweak the sliders in control panel->color management the colors look somewhat off but not dull and consistent and behave as I expect and used to. I've tried both ColorEyes DisplayPro and i1 Match programs in simple and advance modes with the similar (bad) results.
When I try to use "Auto" correction in the new Adaptive Wide Angle filter, it pops up with "No matching lens profile found". I searched for information and was directed to go to the Lens Correction filter. I pressed the "Search Online" button. The first time it comes back with "Connection timeout", but the second time it says "No online profiles found". Come on, really?!
ACR has my lens profile (Canon 24-105 f/4 IS), why can't PS CS6 find it? Is there a workaround? I'd really like to use the Adaptive Wide Angle filter.
My project is NOT wide-screen. So I go to Settings and undo wide-screen. Everything is now fine. But, the next time I start up VS Pro X4, I find it has reset itself to wide-screen. Must I undo this each time I start up. I can't find anything in preferences that will keep it at my project setting.

I'm investigating getting a wide gamut monitor( prob Eizo or NEC), but other forums say that there are issues. Some of you are probably using wide gamut monitors, so I thought I'd see what you think.
The concerns seem to be when using the monitor for non-imaging applications, since not all other applications are color managed. "They" say that sRGB JPG's look especially bad on the webb. I would think color managed stuff should be OK. What do you guys think? Worth it or not?
The Photoshop CS4 layers palette is too wide and distorts the layout of the default color swatches palette when docked on the same column. And I don't want to have to put the color swatches palette anywhere else but the same column. Can the layers palette be fixed so that it can be as narrow as the other palettes, so it won't cause a conflict with the swatches layout?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI just finished watching a tutorial by Deke McClellend about setting up my workspace. He talked about the Title Bar above the palletes and it shows as dark gray in is video. He showed how he could change some of the pallets to Icons.
I don't have a title bar above my pallets. Have I turned something off?
I know he is using a Beta Version of CS3 but I have seen the Icon Palletes on someone else's machine that was not a Beta Version. In the help menu it mentions the Dark Gray Title Bar.
When opening filter distort glass and some of the other distort tools, I can not see all of the slider bars to set pixels ect.
How can I change this view.
Ok, what I have done is created two bars, and I want to bend them so they wrap around eachother, kind of like a strand of DNA, but have absolutly no idea hot to do it. Can anyone please explain how to do this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem in Photoshop CS5 (Windows version v12.1 x64).
My screen resolution is 1680x1080, but almost all "extra" screen space is eaten up by some very wide panels. I can't adjust the width, it's locked to this extra wide look (see picture below). For example, my actions panel is two columns wide. It would give me lot's of extra screen space if I could have only one column.
P.S.
I understand some panels are wider by default and therefore affects other panels if they are grouped together, but they can't be resized even when ungrouped.
I'm in need of a photoshop plugin that corrects barrel distortion caused from a wide angle lense. The photographic subject is achitecture. I've been told that a plugin exists however I have not found it.

I'm a bit confused by some postings in other forums about whether a WG monitor can be properly calibrated by this (and similar) colorimeters.
