How do I control the scrollbars in Photoshop Elements? I have my picture zoomed to 100%. I cannot scroll around the picture to see the places I want to see. The scrollbars jump only to locations preset by Adobe!! I WANT CONTROL OVER THE SCROLLBARS!!
View 13 RepliesWhen I had a virus removed from my computer, I believe it may have corrupted/deleted some of Photoshop Element 8.0's files. While the program still runs, there are some things out of place, in particular a lot of scroll bars are missing and scrolling through the text-box font drop down window is completely disabled.

Is there a software patch that could potentially fix this? Or should I just uninstall/reinstall the program?
how do you make the custom scroll bars for web pages?
The horizontal scroll bar has +/- to zoom in, but I'm missing a similar +/- for the vertical bar. That might be really handy. Maybe there's short keys, but doesn't seem obvious why it's not there. Horizontal zooming we need more frequently.

I created 2 new control bars. Each is 2 icons wide (double column). When I drag these new bars to anchor then on the left edge they snap to a single column and I can't get them to stay 2 columns wide.

The only colors that currently appear are shades of reds/purples and yellows/greens. If I scroll across from left to right the same colors just keep repeating themselves. There are no shades of gray or blue. Can I somehow preset the colors that appear or do I have no control over what colors scroll across the bottom.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSometime during the last few days my scroll wheel has stopped working in the Edit screen. I have always been able to make the photo larger and smaller with this wheel but this has stopped now. Also the sliders on the side and bottom of the editing screen have disappeared.. My scroll wheel is working OK in Organizer and other programmes so it does not appear to be the mouse.Â

Has there been an update in the last week or so? I am using Elements 10, Version 17215.
After installation I went directly into the editor and right away I saw that the software was very sluggish with my cursor dragging . After clicking on a top menu (File) the menu bar open (5 sec.)and if I scroll it down I do not see the blue color following my cursor, and if I click at the location in the bar of my cursor it takes a few second before it respond. I am also using the following adobe softwares that works flawlessly : Photoshop CS5.5 extended; Bridge; Camera Raw; Lightroom 4.2. My computer uses an Asus P7P55-E Premium motehrboard with Win 7 pro 64 bits with an intel I 860 2.8 mhz and 8 gigs of RAM. All my adobe softs are 64 bits, except for elements 11. After seeing that, I installed the upgrades without any visible problems. Even after that nothing has improved.

I have to say that I have quite a few softwares installed that all work perfectly such has Topaz bundle; Photomatix pro, etc. In fact of all my softwares this is the only one that is giving me troubles.
I had problems with elements 11 auto fix tools? Are these issues improved in "Photoshop Elements 12"?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI’m using Photoshop Elements 10. I want to round the corners of a photo I’ve added filters to. I want to control the amount of roundness. When I select the rounded rectangle tool and draw a rectangle over to photo, I do not see the handles that control the roundness. Is there an easier way to do this? I eventually want to add a beveled edge, drop shadow, and use the image as a background for a web page. I have the complete CS6 suite.

I have had Elements 9 on this computer for 2 years without being asked for this permission. If I click yes, photoshop opens, if I click no, it doesn't open so I then have to click yes!
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have just started exploring APE 11 and found one problem. I cannot control GPS coordinates and location tags when I use Add Places. Google maps does not always show correct place on map when address is entered, if I adjust the place on map manually, it either loses location tags or asumes that it is another address. Neither scenario is desired. What I would love to do is to be able to type coordinates and edit location tags (now only deletion is an option). API 11 does not allow to do what I want, is that correct?

I was thinking about doing some manipulation with *.pse11db file as it apperantly is SQLite database. Any example of SQL query that would
a) list all photos (their full file paths) for specified album and
b) SQL query that would allow to edit GPS coordinates and location tags for specified photo (its full file path)?
I need to clean up a picture of a worn out control panel. This will be printed on decal transfer paper for hobby modelers. The photo is entirely black and white. I just downloaded photoshop elements 12 (free trial). My question is what area of the editor is the best place to start with?

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing AutoCAD 2013 and TOL command to generate feature control frames. Â We set our lineweights based on layer assignments.
Problem is that when printing, AutoCAD seems to randomly assign a lineweight to the feature control frames. Â It can vary from what it's supposed to be (such as lineweight set for the dimension layer) or thicker than even what the object lines are set at. Â Seems to pick a random linewieght at time of printing for these elements (just the boxes, not the symbols/text itself).
Is there a setting we should be defining somewhere to force it to follow the lineweight of the layer that it has been assigned to? Â Known bug?
I've been experimenting with different ways to control the appearance of my symbols and elements.
I've seen multiple examples where people would add custom styles to the head of the html document created by edge. I've tried this, but no matter how I tweak it, I can't seem to get it to work. I've tried adding it to the existing edge runtime <style> tag, creating my own <style> tag (both before and after the edge runtime) and then adding the CSS into that, but to no avail. I have tried adding the class to both symbols and elements on the stage using both jQuery and that class form field next to the element name. I've also made sure to close out of the project before I add my styles, just in case that was the problem.
I feel like there might be some edge animate terminology/notation thing that I'm missing, because it seems like it should be a pretty straightforward process.Â
I've placed my Edge animation in an iFrame.I would like to be able to trigger the animations in the Edge file, by clicking on links in the parent document.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just finished watching a tutorial by Deke McClellend about setting up my workspace. He talked about the Title Bar above the palletes and it shows as dark gray in is video. He showed how he could change some of the pallets to Icons.
I don't have a title bar above my pallets. Have I turned something off?
I know he is using a Beta Version of CS3 but I have seen the Icon Palletes on someone else's machine that was not a Beta Version. In the help menu it mentions the Dark Gray Title Bar.
When opening filter distort glass and some of the other distort tools, I can not see all of the slider bars to set pixels ect.
How can I change this view.
Ok, what I have done is created two bars, and I want to bend them so they wrap around eachother, kind of like a strand of DNA, but have absolutly no idea hot to do it. Can anyone please explain how to do this?

Now, I really want to know how to make this in Photoshop .
I have Photoshop cs5. I also have the Epson R1900 printer. I love this printer but if I don't print enough the heads get clogged. Any RGB color codes or a site where I can download a color bar page that would represent all eight colors of my Epson printer.
What I want to do is print a 8.5 x 11 page every few days that will use each of the print heads wherefore keeping the print heads from clogging.
I am printing on an Epson Stylus Pro 4800. I am using Photoshop CS2 (version 9.0.2)and have the Color Settings set at North American Prepress2 which was recommended for using ICC settings. I have the printer set to "No Color Adjustments" (i.e. let Photoshop control the color).
Each time I send an image to print, the printer is printing color calibration bars then ejecting the sheet. The image is printing on the second sheet. At $2.50 per sheet (fine art paper), I can't afford to waste the paper. Does anyone know how to turn the color calibration bars off. I have already checked the Output Options in the print dialog box and the calibration box is unchecked.
I have just upgraded to CS4 and am attempting to get acquainted with the new workspace options. Is there a way to maximize a floating window in Standard Screen Mode without losing the menu and title bars? I figured out how to drag images to CS4 and have them open as floating windows instead of tabs. However, when I maximize one of the images/floating windows, the menu and title bars are left out and are not visible. I would like to set the menu and title bars so that all images appear beneath them whether they or maximized or minimized.
