how do you make the custom scroll bars for web pages?
How do I control the scrollbars in Photoshop Elements? I have my picture zoomed to 100%. I cannot scroll around the picture to see the places I want to see. The scrollbars jump only to locations preset by Adobe!! I WANT CONTROL OVER THE SCROLLBARS!!
View 13 Replies View RelatedWhen I had a virus removed from my computer, I believe it may have corrupted/deleted some of Photoshop Element 8.0's files. While the program still runs, there are some things out of place, in particular a lot of scroll bars are missing and scrolling through the text-box font drop down window is completely disabled.
Â
Is there a software patch that could potentially fix this? Or should I just uninstall/reinstall the program?
The horizontal scroll bar has +/- to zoom in, but I'm missing a similar +/- for the vertical bar. That might be really handy. Maybe there's short keys, but doesn't seem obvious why it's not there. Horizontal zooming we need more frequently.

I just finished watching a tutorial by Deke McClellend about setting up my workspace. He talked about the Title Bar above the palletes and it shows as dark gray in is video. He showed how he could change some of the pallets to Icons.
I don't have a title bar above my pallets. Have I turned something off?
I know he is using a Beta Version of CS3 but I have seen the Icon Palletes on someone else's machine that was not a Beta Version. In the help menu it mentions the Dark Gray Title Bar.
When opening filter distort glass and some of the other distort tools, I can not see all of the slider bars to set pixels ect.
How can I change this view.
Ok, what I have done is created two bars, and I want to bend them so they wrap around eachother, kind of like a strand of DNA, but have absolutly no idea hot to do it. Can anyone please explain how to do this?

Now, I really want to know how to make this in Photoshop .
I have Photoshop cs5. I also have the Epson R1900 printer. I love this printer but if I don't print enough the heads get clogged. Any RGB color codes or a site where I can download a color bar page that would represent all eight colors of my Epson printer.
What I want to do is print a 8.5 x 11 page every few days that will use each of the print heads wherefore keeping the print heads from clogging.
I am printing on an Epson Stylus Pro 4800. I am using Photoshop CS2 (version 9.0.2)and have the Color Settings set at North American Prepress2 which was recommended for using ICC settings. I have the printer set to "No Color Adjustments" (i.e. let Photoshop control the color).
Each time I send an image to print, the printer is printing color calibration bars then ejecting the sheet. The image is printing on the second sheet. At $2.50 per sheet (fine art paper), I can't afford to waste the paper. Does anyone know how to turn the color calibration bars off. I have already checked the Output Options in the print dialog box and the calibration box is unchecked.
I have just upgraded to CS4 and am attempting to get acquainted with the new workspace options. Is there a way to maximize a floating window in Standard Screen Mode without losing the menu and title bars? I figured out how to drag images to CS4 and have them open as floating windows instead of tabs. However, when I maximize one of the images/floating windows, the menu and title bars are left out and are not visible. I would like to set the menu and title bars so that all images appear beneath them whether they or maximized or minimized.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I maximize an image in CS4 the image goes to full screen and covers the tool, task bars, and everything else. Is there a way to keep it from doing that? It did not do that on my CS2.

View 4 Replies View Relatedwhat setting, the end mp4 video will always have black vertical margins. I never have this problem when generating videos with Quicktime using the same source.
The source dimension is 4256x2832, and specifying this as output size will also create the bars.
I have several lovely images with a partial green horizontal colour cast caused by very out of focus bars, (without cloning!)as shown here, across tigers head!

When I check the "Zoom with Scroll Wheel" box in Preferences > General:
-using zoom tool, scroll wheel will zoom out to the smallest size, but will only zoom in until image is slightly larger than the file window then slides the image left and right or up and down depending on size of file window. When image is slightly larger than the file window, zoom out doesn't work anymore
-using Alt + Scroll does nothing
-Ctrl + Scroll zooms image the way Alt + Scroll should
When I UNcheck the "Zoom with Scroll Wheel" box in Preferences > General:
-using Alt + Scroll scroll wheel will zoom out to the smallest size, but will only zoom in until image is slightly larger than the file window then will neither zoom in or out anymore
-using Ctrl + Scroll slides the image left and right
In either preference setting, using ALT key causes letters for menus in the tool bar to be underlined
I have no problem using the hand tool/spacebar to scroll around an image when zoomed into it, but as soon as I can see the whole thing I can't scroll around anymore and its just locked to the center I am a After Effects user so I find this a bit annoying that I can't do this, so I figure there MUST be a setting somewhere I could change to enable it.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI use the pencil/brush tool and hold down shift and draw my line, It works great for small lines, but when I have to go off my current screen space, photoshop will FUCKING FLY down to the end of the document, leaving a line through the whole thing. The area where it doesnt move the document to where it shoots down is so sensitive.
if there is anyway to change the scroll speed, so i can make my lines in peace.
I mouse scroll a lot and because my right hand is old and shaky it hits the screen edge frequently and an unwanted menu always pops up.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI draw a lot of custom metal products at my work, many times they require an isometric view to fully understand what needs to be fabricated. I need to show what is welded on top of what, which usually involves me drawing out a whole line, and then large amounts of trimming to show what gets layered underneath. It is annoying but not so bad until the design gets changed, and then I basically have to start over again because any changes at all cause all the lines to not match up. Is there an easier way to do this?
I have tried drawing these in 3-d, but my computer freezes up on me too much. I was thinking if there was a way to draw something so that it is solid, I can then use draw order to show which bar is to be welded where. The only way I know how to do that now, uses solid hatching, and then prints the solid area solid black, and you can't see my anything but a black grid, not showing layers at all. I'm attaching an example of what I sometimes draw,

The color, linetype and line width sections of the toolbar no longer show on the working screen but they do show on the toolbar manager. How do I recover them?
View 2 Replies View Relatedwhy my tool bars keep disappearing in GIMP 2.8.2? I know how to bring them back (go into settings, set them back to defaults and restart) .
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I first downloaded gimp it worked great. Now the side tool bars are gone and I don't know how to restore them. I've attached a picture of what it looks like when I open gimp so you can see it's only the main center window that opens.Â
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to lock the tool bars into the GUI instead of having them get in the way all the time?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble setting up my toolbars. I position them the way I want, but as soon as I switch back from a different workspace (lets say3D modeling) the position of the toolbars change. Also I can't get the scroll bars to disappear for good, they always come back
Here is what I do exactly:
1. Change the content and the position of the toolbars (acad classic workspace)
2. Lock down the toolbars
3. Go to options => profiles, create a new profile (add to list), set current
4. Change workspace to 3D modeling
5. Change workspace back to acad classic

The result is: content of the toolbars is the way I want, but the position is changed. The toolbars are locked, so in order to move them to the desired place I have to unlock.
Any easy way to add the numbers/values into each bar in a bar graph and have them appear automatically when importing data from excel? I'm working w Illustrator CC.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with "new scroll feature" in Photoshop CS6 - I didn't find any discussion about that in whole internet (maybe I used bad keywords for the finding) How can I turn off this annoying horizontal scroll feature?
I over and over again do the same - by mistake scrolling horizontally instead vertically..
how to adjust the scroll rate when you zoom in on an image? Back in version 5, PS used to automatically adjust the scroll rate when you zoom in on a pic so you're not scrolling really fast past the area you're trying to work on, but now (using PS7) when I zoom in on an area of a picture, the scroll rate doesn't seem to change so when I try to just slide a few pixels horizontally or vertically, it quickly jumps to the far end of the picture.
