I have just upgraded to CS4 and am attempting to get acquainted with the new workspace options. Is there a way to maximize a floating window in Standard Screen Mode without losing the menu and title bars? I figured out how to drag images to CS4 and have them open as floating windows instead of tabs. However, when I maximize one of the images/floating windows, the menu and title bars are left out and are not visible. I would like to set the menu and title bars so that all images appear beneath them whether they or maximized or minimized.
I just finished watching a tutorial by Deke McClellend about setting up my workspace. He talked about the Title Bar above the palletes and it shows as dark gray in is video. He showed how he could change some of the pallets to Icons.
I don't have a title bar above my pallets. Have I turned something off?
I know he is using a Beta Version of CS3 but I have seen the Icon Palletes on someone else's machine that was not a Beta Version. In the help menu it mentions the Dark Gray Title Bar.
When I open my Layer manager in AutoCAD 2012 - I have hatch symbols across the top where 'New Layer', New Property Filter', 'Set Current' etc. should be.
while this is very entertaining and different - I am worried what will happen next. I have only had my new pc for about 6 weeks and the Version 2013 is a new download.
When I had a virus removed from my computer, I believe it may have corrupted/deleted some of Photoshop Element 8.0's files. While the program still runs, there are some things out of place, in particular a lot of scroll bars are missing and scrolling through the text-box font drop down window is completely disabled. Â Is there a software patch that could potentially fix this? Or should I just uninstall/reinstall the program?
I'm trying to learn autocad and I just downloaded the 2012 version. I can't figure out how to make the modelspace look the format in all the tutorial videos. I don't have a big menu bar on the top or bottom. It's so hard for me to follow videos when nothing looks the same and I can't find the buttons/commands.
I looked through the discussion groups and couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for.  Our office recently upgraded their server.  Since this happened, my dual monitor blinks when highlighting objects or  zooming in and out.  Plus, it adds extra menu bars (gray horizontal bars).
I went to use my laptop with autocad LT 2012 which I do not use that much. When I lookd all the Icons on the tool bars are missing. The tabs still work but it is hard to figure out what they do. I have not changed any settings.Â
I just purchased, downloaded and installed PSE 12. I am running Windows 7. Everything seems to be working fine. My question is this: Why are the titles in tlhe menu bar (task bar?) at the top so small? When you actually pull down the menu it is fine but the titles (file, edit, image, filters etc) are extremely small and very hard to see. Also the path selection tool is just a dot (actually two tiny dots) and not the normal cursor arrow.
I have finished authoring my first DVD with VSX5. The VIDEO_TS folder and contents have been produced successfully. However the burned folder is a disaster and will not play past the title menu. I have used Nero for the burn.
It is not a media problem because I have used the same media brand on hundreds of project and hardly ever had problems.
I have also tried to play the project from the VIDEO_TS folder via the IFO file. I can get past the title menu to the chapters menu but again highlighting a chapter will not change the thumbnail in the Smart Menu window but the Play button works.
I authored the same movie in Pinnacle Studio 12.1 and had no problems.
I am using VideoStudio Pro Ultimate 6 and it offers me certain Menu Packs and Title Packs, but when I try to install I get the message "Installed Version of the application could not be determined. Setup will terminate". All of the single Title packs install without a hitch, but several of the packages will not. At a lost of how to troubleshoot this and wonder have others here experienced anything similar or same. I was thinking because I upgraded from Version 4 ultimate and never got 5 because I got Mercalli and ProDad with the Ultimate upgrade in Version 4, that maybe it is looking for version 5. Other than that supposition, I am at a lost.
I have reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit to clean up my computer. I was hoping that his issue with the Title Packs Menu packs would also be resolved. The message keeps coming up: "The installed version of application could not be determined. Setup will terminate. System has not been modified".
On the two movies that I have created DVD's for, I have the same problem on both.
When I play them on my DVD player, they do not go to the Menu (Title Page), instead both just start to play the movie. I can only get to the Menu page by pressing 'Menu' on my remote.
I downloaded the Trial version and the 3D menu worked perfectly but when I downloaded the full version, the 3D menu is gone. Â Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03/15:21:00:00) x32 Operating System: Windows 7 32-bit Version: 6.1 System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:7, Stepping:10 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1 Physical processor count: 2 Processor speed: 2261 MHz Built-in memory: 2975 MB Free memory: 1044 MB Memory available to Photoshop: 1626 MB Memory used by Photoshop: 60 %
3D option is not on my menu bar , and none of the tool setting show 3D options either. All Screen shots I have seen of Photoshop CS6 have this and I don't.
I have Photoshop CS4 installed on my laptop and Photoshop CS4 Extended installed on my desktop (part of Production Suite). I'm experiencing a problem on BOTH systems where the main menu is missing a row of pixels (see image below). Both systems are running Windows XP Pro SP3. I have Open GL disabled on both systems. The weird thing is the missing row of pixels comes and goes while I'm using the application. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?
I want to edit the per-drawing section of the "Update Title Block" menu and it seems like AutoDesk has not given this option. So where I go to edit this menu or if its even possible AT ALL?
I very much dislike that AutoDesk made it so easy to edit the project wide description lines and left almost no way to customize the per-drawing section in the same way. One would think if you making a product to fill the need of many industries you would add a way to customize it from vanilla?
After installing photoshop CS6 from CD onto Windows 7x64; my context menu > New > bitmap is no longer available. registry settings are intact and I've used Bridge ro reassociate .bmp with mspaint but the option still does not appear. The installation of photoshop is the only change to the computer in several months.  I can workaround by creating new txt files and changing the extension but this adds a step to a (non photoshop related) workflow that's been in place and worked well for years.
I've installed CS6 (CS5 is still on the machine), and in the Bridge Menu, there is no longer a Batch menu item for initiating actions. In Bridge's Edit/Preference command, I have the Startup Scripts checked. There are no files in the "Startup Scripts" folder. Â I don't see a "Startup Scripts" folder in CS5, only in CS6.I can still do batch operations directly from Photoshop CS6's automate window, however, I like the ability in Bridge to select specific files on which to run the action.
I have a new copy of PSE 11 and the tools menu palette names on the left side of the screen are missing. I notice that some tutorials show the palette names and others do not. How do you turn these names on or off?
I've been reading some of the discussions here regarding missing 3D menus and all the advices have been "if you have a beta or trial you need to upgrade" or "get the paid Creative Cloud version". I have the paid version and I still don't see it. I've seen it in the Panel Menus but don't have a clue as to how to make it visible. All the components under the 3D heading are supposed to be visible (all have "eyes" on them). Â Is it my hardware then that's a problem? I've tried CS5 trial version and the 3D worked perfectly on this computer. I'm running on XP professional and a Dell machine that's about 4 years old.
I have recently installed Photoshop Elements 11 on a new Windows 7 64 bit PC. Â When I try and send an attachment by email (Share - File Attachment) then my Outlook 2010 client is missing from the list of Email Client options. I only see the Adobe service and Windows Live Mail. Â Is there a way of getting Elements 11 to recognise that I have Outlook 2010 installed ?
My menu bar has almost vanished. All I can see is "File, Window and Help" all the others have disappeared. I looked up what to do and CAD help told me to go to Window and then click on Pulldowns but this isn't an option that I can see when I click on Window.
