Photoshop :: Control Auto-Align And Auto-Blend
Aug 3, 2007I have just moved from 7.0 to CS3 (and PC to Mac) and am currently trying to get to grips with the new features! Once which I love is the auto-align and auto-blend feature(s). My question is, is there any way to control how these features work? I have seen on some web sites people talk about 'fuzziness' sliders where you can control that if an object (pixels) appear in X% of the photos they should/shouldn't be included in the final image but I cannot find these.
My intention is to use these features to take photos of monuments and have the people who are moving about removed from the final image (I guess it's the auto-align that would do this.) I tried a test and took a number of photos at home but I kept moving one object around (a pen.) The pen appears in all the images but in a different location so it always appears in the final image. When I tried auto-align with a stack that included one image without the pen, the pen was removed from the final image. Given the first scenario (i.e. the object is in all the images but in a different location) is there any way of automatically removing it using auto-align or would this have to be a manual process? In the real world, it would be possible to take a photo of a monument with people in different locations but it would be much harder (or take a long time) to take one where at least one person was not in all the photos (there's always someone loitering.)
Photoshop :: CS4 Auto Perspective Control
Jan 24, 2009I started using CS4 last month after using CS for several years, there are so many new features. One useful feature I found was an auto perspective control that allowed me to straighten vertical lines (from wide angle distortion) with just one click. I used this auto perspective control one time just after installing CS4 but since then can't remember how to access it although I've searched quite a bit. It was not in Filters>Distort>Lens Correction or Edit>Transform>Warp. It was a one-click auto feature, but where..?

Aug 20, 2011Since the location of an ellipse is extremely difficult to predict, would it be possible to make the ellipse tool behave like the Text tool?
That is, when you have created the ellipse, have a 'handle' appear next to it so you could move it to the exact location desired. Maybe even a selection box that you could modify its shape and rotation as if you had selected it.
The other feature I would like to see is constrainment of all drawing tools (brush, pencil, color change) as is done with the Line/Curve tool. Hold the Shift key to keep the line straight.or is there some way in which these features already exist?
AutoCAD Inventor :: Auto Fade Control On Select Other
Mar 7, 2012Is there a way to toggle the auto fade (i.e. turn of fade so it stays visible) of of the pinned toolbar when in the 'select other' command ? There is an option to toggle this under the constraint pinned toolbar but I can't see it for select other.

I recently completed a job for a customer where the requirement was to have a 2 impression tool with one side action to control both of the impressions. I found that if you pattern a part within the mold design environment and then apply a side action, the side actions would be copied to each of the patterned parts. I have created a test part to try and illustrate this (which is way out of size and proportion!):- Even if I combine the inserts, I still get the same effect.

Oct 29, 2013I’m using Photoshop Elements 10. I want to round the corners of a photo I’ve added filters to. I want to control the amount of roundness. When I select the rounded rectangle tool and draw a rectangle over to photo, I do not see the handles that control the roundness. Is there an easier way to do this? I eventually want to add a beveled edge, drop shadow, and use the image as a background for a web page. I have the complete CS6 suite.

Jan 20, 2013It's been running in the background on my computer for several days now. I'm willing to let it finish, if it does indeed finish... but if its normal way of operating is to use 100% CPU when idle for ever... then I'll shut it off.

Photoshop Elements :: Manual Control Of GPS Coordinates And Location Tags
Mar 8, 2013I have just started exploring APE 11 and found one problem. I cannot control GPS coordinates and location tags when I use Add Places. Google maps does not always show correct place on map when address is entered, if I adjust the place on map manually, it either loses location tags or asumes that it is another address. Neither scenario is desired. What I would love to do is to be able to type coordinates and edit location tags (now only deletion is an option). API 11 does not allow to do what I want, is that correct?
I was thinking about doing some manipulation with *.pse11db file as it apperantly is SQLite database. Any example of SQL query that would
a) list all photos (their full file paths) for specified album and
b) SQL query that would allow to edit GPS coordinates and location tags for specified photo (its full file path)?

Jun 27, 2013When I try and use a round brush with 100% hardness, there is still significant dropoff in density from the center to the outside of the brush. Both the brush and layer are on "normal" mode. I've reset the brush tools. I've deleted the preference files for PSE10. What other settings should I be checking? I know that "brush flow" doesn't show up as a menu item in PSE10, but you can change it with keystrokes. I've messed with that and you can see the darkness of the brush change in the dropdown - I've set that to the "00" setting [shift-apple, ##], which I believe puts it to 100.
