Revit :: No Time To Enter Info In Properties Box?

When I'm changing a view title or any info, the box desactivate in a second, so I don't even have time to enter one letter. I have to clic 2 to 3 times and be quick to type something before it load. (I can enter 1 or 2 letter and it's loading it as a new name before I can write the whole word ...)
I have properties and project tree vertically stacked, and when I scroll down in properties, it scroll back up automatically, I can't reach the lower info without play with scroll to keep it down..

Is it possible to use something like a parameter that would allow you to enter a width in the element properties window of the selected wall(s)?
we would like to have a generic wall (outline only) that the width can be changed per wall for layout purposes, then the walls will be selected & changed later to an actual wall with known materials.

Go to I - button in Inventor, then to the recent files list, hover the mouse over any file in the list.
You will see a preview of the file & later In about a 1 second delay (keep the mouse still) the preview expands a date/time info.
Where switch/checkbox is to turn off/on this date/time info?

how to define a distance while placing a wall, but what if the wall needs to be on a specific angle, say 45 deg? I can see the angle being measured but is there a way to enter the angle?

I appear to have come across a problem. Elements 12 Catalog loses adjusted dates.
Feature: right click on photo --> Adjust Date and Time --> Change to a Specified Date and Time
I've noticed the catalog consistently retained dates that include a month, day, and year. However, those that have only month and year have lost the adjustment. Sadly this problem has cost hours of work on possibly over 100 photos and was unresponsive to repair, optimize, closing, and reopening.

Previous versions of PSE have displayed the date/time info for each image in the organiser. PSE 11 doesn't do this. Where I can change settings so that it does - this info is very usefu to me.

I have spent many hours getting my catalog of pictures in order, only to close the application and come back in to find that it has in fact not saved any of it. Is there someway to ensure that this data is saved so that I don't have to keep redoing this work?

When I open a project or family file (new or old) the properties palette is not the one I am used to seeing. Usually one can view sheets, 3D views, and elevations in a project file and (while I have located some of these options in the tool bar) they are not located conveniently on the properties palette as usual. When I open a family file, I can usually go to different elevations and create extrusions/model from different views. There is currently no option for viewing different elevations and when I go to toggle in a 3D view I can't go back to the reference plan (the only view I can model in). Attached are images of what I currently see as my properties palette. If there is a way to get the normal one back,

I am trying to add LEED parameters to a floor type in the Type Properties. That can be seen when I create a schedule? I am unsure if this is possible but it is something we would like to incorporate in our models.

Having just download a free trial and being very new to revit--I notice when I open revit and the project I have been working on I can see faintly and briefly the properties and project browser box but they disappear as it's opening and I cannot figure out how to get them on my screen.
Did I hide them somehow with out realizing it? Where do I go to get them back on my screen again?

I have a restroom where the toilets are housed in separate "rooms" divided by full height/full thickness walls. I want the restroom to be scheduled including the area of all of the smaller rooms so I unchecked the wall's room bounding property. However, every time I reopen the project, this property, although unchecked, is back in effect. How can I get the room bounding property (when unchecked) remain the same when I reopen the file from day to day? I made a simpler file to test this, but could not produce the same error.

Is there any way to turn on the information ,which can be obtained from schedules, on properties palette? For example, the length for the structural columns can be seen on the schedule created. However, it is not seen on the properties palette. How can I show that information on properties palette under dimensions?

I have created a door family that has a concrete fill that replaces the insulation in an insulated precast wall. When I cut a section through the jambs looking down it looks correct but when the section is looking up the concrete fill pattern is not visible.
I would typically cut my sections looking up so that the exterior face is down in the view as it will be cast.

I have a roof plan where I am showing a high roof and low roof on the same view. I created a plan region around the low roof area and set the cut planes accordingly to show that roof. The walls under the low roof do not correctly display the existing walls losing the phase half tone and hidden lines. See the attached image. I can pick away at the walls one at a time to override the lines, but that is a PITA. Is this a bug problem with Revit 2014 Design Suite or a user problem?

Recently we bought numbers of Revit Suite 2013 and expects the best performances from it. but, regretably speaking the rendering time is worst than before upgrading.In addition to that, we also upgraded our Workstation to 16 GB RAM and a QUADRO graphic engine, but it still take more than an hour to render one simple view.what could be the cause? i hope it is not the software that we bought( cost us thousands... ) here i post the rendering screen and the task performance while we are rendering,ASAP reply needed as all our REVIT workstations moving away from our deep expectation.

I’m wondering if there is a way to fill the values of all parameters of a title block for ALL sheets at a time. Are we supposed to fill out these parameters for each single sheet manually despite that fact that they are similar?Surely, I’m not taking here about the sort of information that differs from sheet to another like the “sheet name”

Any way to get a wall sweep that's set up in the type/structure properties to follow a wall if that walls profile has changed. For example, in the image below, I've split the wall and adjusted it's profile to create some cheesy angled parapet. How do i get my wall cap to follow along? I thought splitting it and changing it's height would work, but no. And if I change the profile without splitting the wall the wall cap just runs right through the wall, as if the profiel was never even changed.
