Is it possible to add a 'variable' or label to our title block so that when we send a file to the printer, it will pickup the current time and date?
I know how to edit a label but I want this to happen automatically.

View 5 Replies View RelatedUpon uploading the pictures into the Lightroom 'library' none of them appeared to have the date stamp that they did in camera. After a few minutes, the date stamp for each started to appear. Seeing that they first loaded without the date stamp leads me to believe that I should be able to remove it easily. How can I do this without the hassle of cloning/cropping/editing. Is there a way to remove it from the metadata perhaps?

I want to display this photo in a clip frame so there is no mat and I chose 8.5x11 so I wouldn't have to do any cutting. I don't mind the white border.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI must have done this when I was trying to do some other keyboard shortcut and got the wrong one - and now I can't figure out how to get rid of it. But a few weeks ago, I did something and now the file name, date/time and image size appear in white text over the top-left of any photo I have in the Develop or Library screens:
So you can see "_MG_0955.CR2" and the other details in the clouds there. How to get rid of that? I can't find anything in any of the menus. I'm on Lightroom 4.3 for Mac OSX Mountain Lion.

If I create a new drawing today the date is correct. But if I open it tomorrow and open a new sheet its still todays date.
How do I make the date changed with the new sheets??

I’m wondering how the title blocks appearing in the “new sheet” dialogue box (attached) can be deleted (in case they are not used in the project)

I am working with VS4 since another video program I have has crashed and for some reason they cannot fix it. I'm stuck, with a number of videos to complete, and looking for an alternate program.
1)I've imported a .gif graphic into the time line. The other program allowed me to extend the duration of the .gifs to virtually any length by clicking on it, and dragging the right or left side to the duration desired. I want the them (I am adding a number of stills to the videos) to run 3-5 seconds depending on where it will be placed in the production. When I click the .gif in the timeline, it shows a duration of .01 second. How do I extend that?
2) When previewing a video in the preview window, there is a date and time stamp appearing in black on the video. Am I correct in assuming that this is the "watermark" created by the trial version, and this will disappear when I buy the program?
when using the dv to DVD wizard to create my movie i cannot figure why, when the wizard compiles and burns my movie(regardless what menu template i choose) ,the DVD menu always has the date the movie was created in bold letters imprinted on the left side of the screen.how can i disable this?
View 10 Replies View RelatedCurrently in autocad we start the print/plot command and then the command line shows options for the drawing stamp. There are several options including for approval, approved for construction, test only and others. When the appropriate number associated with the correct drawing stamp it lets you pick an insertion point and inserts the drawing stamp with a current date under the stamp to show when the drawing was plotted. After the drawing stamp is inserted it returns to the print/plot dialog.
If any IV users have a similar drawing stamp with date that is put on their drawings, I would like to hear how it was accomplished.
I have played with a sketched symbol and with ilogic can insert the symbol and start the print/plot command but I do not know how to make the stamp selection in ilogic automatic with a parameter or iproperty.
If ilogic is the way to go with this or any other options to accomplish the drawing stamp insertions with current date.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThe title blocks that we use have prompted entries in them and I would like to find a way using iLogic to copy the entries from one title block to another within the same drawing; i.e.. if the user decides to change from an A2 to A1 drawing.
I already have an iLogic rule which allows the user to change the active border, title block and sheet size based on a form selection but would like it to capture the prompted entries already entered and re-use them after the change.
Settings on the User Preferences Tab (Options Dialog Box) control whether fields are updated automatically or on demand (FIELDEVAL system variable). The Date field cannot be updated automatically regardless of the setting of FIELDEVAL.
View 9 Replies View RelatedThe AttSync command does what it advertises fairly well. My problem is that I have thousands of small blocks in a single drawing. (My current drawing has 2100 block references with four attributes in each one.) I may change the attribute values in a few of them and need to re-sync the attribute locations. When I run AttSync it updates every single block insertion. One of two things are desired:
1)Flag each block insertion as having been sync'ed, reducing the number of objects requiring synchronization when AttSync is called again. Provide a way to force all to be sync'ed.
2)Allow a selection set in the AttSync command after selecting the block to sync.
Either or both of these would a great time-saver for those of us with large numbers of blocks with attributes.
When I save a file in PhotoShop or other Adobe products the time of the file is not in sync with my computer clock - it is 7 hours early.How do I reset the clock in Adobe? All other programs i.e.Word etc. are the correct time.
