When I save a file in PhotoShop or other Adobe products the time of the file is not in sync with my computer clock - it is 7 hours early. How do I reset the clock in Adobe? All other programs i.e.Word etc. are the correct time.
Upon uploading the pictures into the Lightroom 'library' none of them appeared to have the date stamp that they did in camera. After a few minutes, the date stamp for each started to appear. Seeing that they first loaded without the date stamp leads me to believe that I should be able to remove it easily. How can I do this without the hassle of cloning/cropping/editing. Is there a way to remove it from the metadata perhaps?
I have done one job with new camcorder and the time and date stamp is on the video. I have looked all through the manual and I cannot find out how to turn off the time and date stamp. Do I turn off at camcorder or with Premiere Pro? I don't want it on my videos.
I do not have ANY page options checked in the print module and yet it continues to print a date/time stamp in the margins of my photo. I want to display this photo in a clip frame so there is no mat and I chose 8.5x11 so I wouldn't have to do any cutting. I don't mind the white border.
How can I get rid of this extremely annoying feature?
I created a date and time stamp to put on a border in paper space. The stamps were created using Mtext with a field. The stamps do not update and show the created time and date. How to create a stamp that updates?
I'm trying to Install Photoshop CS3. i have a problem. I was installing it. pc crashed. and now i restarted and everytime i Try to install the Adobe Photoshop CS3 and everytime it keeps saying ' (Setup already Running) You can only install one Adobe Product at a time. Every time I save I get an "Adobe Save For Web Error" that says "Could not complete this operation. An unknown error has occurred." Below is the system info:
Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03/15:21:00:00) x64 Operating System: Mac OS 10.9.0 System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:23, Stepping:6 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1 Physical processor count: 2 Processor speed: 2400 MHz Built-in memory: 4096 MB Free memory: 2139 MB Memory available to Photoshop: 3490 MB [code]....
I upgraded to Maverick (Apple OSX) about 2.5 weeks ago. But this problem didn't start until about 3 days ago, so surely that's not the issue.
I had Photoshop CS6 installed and working on my Mac using Adobe Creative Cloud. However now a dialog appears that says "Help Improve Adobe's Product". Regardless if I approve this dialog or not Adobe Photoshop starts up with every menu option grayed and I can do nothing. I have to force quit the application. At this point it is 100% unusable.
I've googled it and seen others with a similar issue but no solutions found. I have OSX 10.8.3.
Others with similar issues. URL....No real solution other than don't use Mac Keeper (which I do not) URL....
Product: CS4 64 bit: Adobe Output Module-Adobe updater downloads 2 updates 75.9mb (Camera Raw 5.3). After download and permission to continue under user account control, I receive popup menu advising me that Installation Incomplete, close Adobe Bridge - 3 choices, which always fail. My Adobe CS4 and Bridge are not open. I tried this several times with the same result.I downloaded the zip file, saved, unzip, and still get the same notice - close Bridge.
It looks like the same 2.3mb file that the update program is trying to download. Once the update is started it just keeps trying to download that file until I cancel the update.
Ok some times when I go to run details it pops up that it can not load the component database AecDtlComponents (US).mdb file. I go to options and can not do anything there. So I have to close it all down and hope when I reload AA it works. 9 out of 10 times it does. But this is a pain to do when ever you need to add detail stuff. Oh also this happens on more then one computer in the office. running 2012 with sp and all updates on windows 7
I'm trying to change "capture time" of multiple photos to a specific time.
I know that there is "Edit Capture Time" feature under Metadata. But when I try to edit multiple photos, it says that "Modify the capture time stored in the selected photos by entering the correct time adjustment for the photo displayed to the left. Other photos (but not vidieos) will be adjusted by the same amount of time". And it really does.
For example, If A file's capture time is 1/11/2011 B file's capture time is 1/11/2012 C file's capture time is 1/11/2013 I would like to change their capture time to 1/11/2014. All the three files.
But the current "Edit Capture Time" feature of Lightroom just adds three years to each file like this:
A file's capture time -> 1/11/2014 B file -> 1/11/2015 C file -> 1/11/2016 So their capture times remain as different ones. And this is not I want...
I've googled a lot and tried several programs other than lightroom as well, but the "Capture time" recognized by lightroom could not be changed by other programs.
I am updating capture time based on GPS Time (a bit OCD, I know) but when I change Capture Time the Date Time Digitized value does not change. This in in LR 4.3 and is not affected by whether on not the Catalog is set to 'Write date or time changes into proprietary raw files'.
I have been trying to figure out if I can make capture time changes to adjust for time zone errors or the daylight saving time mistakes where the capture time in the Metadata panel is off by 1 hour or so, and then have these adjustments saved permanently to the original files (master photos). This works for JPEG files and it also works for DNG files (after converting from CR2 to DNG). But it doesn't seem to work for CR2 files directly. If I used the "Save Metadata to file" option from the Metadata menu I might just get sidecar XMP files.
Then I found this option "write date or time changes into proprietary raw files" in the Catalog Settings. This seems about right. But what does it do? I tried enabling that, created a new catalog and then imported some new CR2 files. I then changed the captured time and tried the Save Metadata to file option. It still spits out these sidecar files. It doesn't actually write this to the CR2 files.
Or does it? Perhaps I am not seeing it in Windows Explorer? Like IPTC vs. EXIF? I'm not sure Windows reads both. These are like different types or sections of metadata information about a file. So I just wonder what the benefit or consequence is of having this option enabled? Whatever it is, it is not very apparent. And as you can see from the screenshots above the capture time has not changed (not been saved) when you look at the file in Windows Explorer. Any changes are held in the XMP sidecar. Even thou I have enabled this EXIF option in Catalog Settings.
I note that from time to time I can't see the counter and this is quite an annoyance. When the invisible pointer hover over or passes over an object, the latter will highlight as usual. I have to close and restart the drawing each time due to this issue. Is there an explanation for it, even a solution to prevent this from happening?
NOTE : This is limited to the drawing area only. I can see the pointer in the menu/toolbar area and outside autocad but not in the drawing area.
I want to add a watermark to a photo which encompasses a progress time or finish time of a sports event. For example, if an event starts at 7.00 am, photos taken at 8.05 am, in the watermark I want to display 1:05 hr (or 65 mins).
I'd like to ask you what it is different between the ImageReady CS2 and Adobe Photoshop CS2, I am very confuse about them, they looks not different for me.
If i want to chose one of them for design webesite, which one is better?
I have a Canon S100 and just started importing photos and video into my LR 4.3 catalog. I convert RAW to DNG, and the Capture Time on the photos in LR is correct. However, the video Capture Time is shifted forward exactly 8 hours. I know how to correct the video Capture Time, but is there anything I can do to stop this from happening in the first place? I looked at what the metadata looks like in Bridge.
PHOTO: Date Created = Correct Capture Time Date File Modified = The time I imported the file into LR.
VIDEO: Date Created = Capture Time + 8 hours Date File Modified = Correct Capture Time
I installed the new version of PS right now but when I start with CLONE STAMP saw something unusual! I disabled the "Show Overlay" feature, when I press ALT and make a Copy from one place and when I want to paste it in another place sometimes it confused and past unusual, specialy sometimes is paste out of brush area, The settings of the tool is the same as PS CS6 and when I switch to CS6 I have no problem same as before.
After I successfully used the filter called "stamp" once, now it basically doesn't work. I can even load the original, raw photgraph that worked before and try to repeat what I did and it's doing what it does to all photos now -- all it shows is a very white, washed-out looking version with useslessly dim content, no matter how I tweak the values. It doesn't help to turn the photo black & white first, & it doesn't help to convert the image into "smart filter"-friendly. I'm doing exactly the same thing but it doesn't work now. What on earth is going on? Am I going to have to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop? That is a huge pain to just arbitrarily try unless I have to (they'll say I've installed the max amount of times... I will have to find the copy of Elements I upgraded into Photoshop full... there's never an opportunity to select the version of Elements I upgraded from because it was latter vs. than listed available, so I'll have to talk voice to someone about both matters...). I have a licensed, registered copy of Photoshop CS3 (without the rest of the suite) running on Vista 64, quad processor with 8 gig RAM.
I would like to paint an image onto a 3d model using the clone stamp or pattern stamp tools within Photoshop CS4. The problem is the image needs to wrap around a curved body part, such as a tribal tattoo wrapped around an arm. When I click & brush the stamp on one area and then release to rotate the model, the stamp doesn't continue where it left off and my pattern is completely uneven.
