View 9 RepliesDuring the Auto-backup, the document failed to save in the background.
I can't do anything about it.If I try to close the document, it'll prompt me to save it, leading to the same failure.
So I can only quit CorelDraw without saving the document. And if I reopen the same file, same thing happens.So I end up recreating everything.
It only happen to the particular file and not others.
The following code produces a run time error:
"Failed to get the Document object"
Public AcadApp As AcadApplication, AcadDoc As AcadDocument
Set AcadDoc = AcadApp.ActiveDocument
AcadApp.ActiveDocument = AcadDoc
why?
I received a nice cd from usa with loads of actions and their corresponding filters - the problem comes when I load up the action, run it and it asks for the corresponding filter -
I browse to the filter folder, choose a filter and click ok.
Photoshop then gives me the following error:
Could not place the document because PDFL initialization failed?
One or more dimension references are or have become invalid.The Revit file failed to load.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Adobe Photoshop(cs3 suite). Now, i have opened this on my laptop before(Dell latitude D600). All i did was load avast anti-virus and spybot. Now when i click on photo shop it say,
"Executable 'C:/program files/adobe/adobe photoshop CS3/photoshop.exe' had the following unrecoverable error:failed to load C:/program files/adobe/adobe photoshop CS3/photoshop.exe"
Anyone have an idea on how to fix this problem?
When I try to open a raw (NEF) image from my Nokon D800, I get an error box titled "Photoshop cannot open this file". I looked for updates after installing CS6 but none were found. What's the deal? I read that the D800 was supported in the CS6 release.

I was working earlier but then my laptop has a bad battery and when I was editing in lightroom 4 my laptop shut off without warning (same thing as just pulling the power cable out of the outlet of a desktop when its on without shutting it off first). But anyways I have windows 7 and so I can get back to work. I was also hoping that I could fix this issue without erasing all the editing I did and all the pictures I have in lightroom.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using VideoStudio Pro X2 for the past 2 years and it has been working just fine since, up until mid last week. I was rolling right along, creating MPEG-2's of the Classic 39 Honeymooners episodes, until I got up to Episode 24, when I started getting the 'Failed to open the MPEG encoder' error message. I searched through this forum to find any possible solution and the only solutions I found were to check to see if the MPEG-2 encoder CODEC is installed, which it appears to be according to the InstalledCodec utility and to uninstall/reinstall VS, which I did. I still receive the same error message, however. What could cause it to go from working one moment, to not working the next?
I tried to attach a text file listing all of the installed codecs on my system, so you can look to see if the needed codecs are installed, however I was unable to attach the file...says 'extension not allowed'. How to upload the file.
I have some dwg files, shp files, images, and sdf files in my C: . I am using AutoCAD Map 3D 2011. When I try to open one of the dwg files it is showing a warnng message "Failed to open FDO connection".

I then tried to backup all of my documents, but it would not let me backup either. I did a properties on the folder and it showed everything was read only. I click off read only and it let me backup. But still will not let me open a model part or assembly??? I tried turning off Avast and that did nothing either.We are still running 2008. Inventor and Autocad.

I completed a video and when I went to 'Create a Video File' I would receive the following error message...
"Failed to open MPEG encoder"
I'm using Ulead VideoStudio 11+. The 'vsp' file is too long...One hour fourteen minutes. I made a 'Part 1' and cut the vsp to forty-five minutes and still received the same error message.
I cut the 'vsp' to one minute thirty seconds and it would "Create a Video File'. I've never had this problem before.
It seems with Ulead VideoStudio 11+ whenever I have a problem like this I can resolve it, by backing up all the files, then removing the program, thoroughly clean the hard drive and re-install 11+.
Error message:
"Failed to open MPEG encoder".
I'm using Ulead VideoStudio 11+ and when I try to render a completed video to a file I receive this error message. The video is a little large, one hour fourteen minutes, so I cut it in half, saving it under a different name and it still gave me the same error message. However, if I render a very small clip then it renders as it's suppose to.
I've never had this trouble before. I reloaded the software for 11+ but that didn't work.
When i am taking uv snapshot, an error is seeing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to update a xref path of a autocad document without open it. I've tried something like this to access the database of a document
using (Database db = new Database(true, false))
{
db.ReadDwgFile(fullpath, System.IO.FileShare.ReadWrite, false, "");
// rest of the code ....
}
In order to do that the readdwgfile the document must be locked right? Because i'm going to modify blocks of the document. So how can I lock a document without open it?
I remember reading somewhere that two windows could be opened for the same document allowing one to be worked on while zoomed in and the 2nd would update to show the changes.
How do I open two windows of the same document?
This is a neat trick as it allows document to be worked on without continually zooming in and zooming out to see how it all looks.

View 9 Replies View RelatedCS6 Thinks It Has an Unsaved Document Open But it doesn't. Yesterday I did some testing that resulted in a Photoshop crash that was likely due to a bad font. I restarted Photoshop several times after that and did some testing, then just left Photoshop minimized all night.
Today I went to close Photoshop and got an indication that it thinks a PSB document is open, with the same name as the PSD file I was testing with yesterday when Ps crashed.
I assume this may be somehow related to the AutoSave feature, but the file never opened upon restarting Photoshop.
I am trying to duplicate a layer to another open document.
The problem is that it is not visible at all at the new document once the duplication procedure is complete.
Although the layers panel depicts the duplicated layer plus the usual backg. layer, in the document/canvas itself i do not see the layer which by the way is an icon.
I have in design when i open a new document it says 51p0 instead of inches.. how do i fix it ?

Now when we try to open the file there is an error message "Could not complete your request because it is not a valid Photoshop document." It still has the .psd extension. We are using Mac OS10.8.2. I tried opening it in Illustrator, Preview and Graphic Coverter without success.
