Jul 14, 2012I have a problem with loading the paint layers on my object.
I created an object in another software and then imported it into Mudbox. Here I started painting the object, but when I close and re-open Mudbox I get the error: "Failed to load texture files both ... and ..." (my two paint layers). I had this same error two days ago on a similar object, when I moved only the ".mud" file to a different location, but then I realized I need to move also the ".bak" file and the folder containing the layers into that new location and the error was solved. This time, the .mud, .bak and the folder are all in the same location, they all have the same name but I still get the error. When I open Mudbox I just get my object as it was when I imported it, with no painting on it (even though the two paint layers appear in the "Layers" tab), and with the error mentioned above.

is there any other command or way to achieve the same end result as the command etransmit? a clue as to why this is happening is that i had to uninstall civil 3d 2012 from this machine and that's when this started ...
AutoCAD 2013 :: VIEWBASE - Inventor Server Failed To Load
Oct 23, 2013when I try to use the VIEWBASE command to create views from my 3D solids, I always get the message "inventor server failed to load" and the command stops. I am using AutoCAD 2014 with SP1 installed on windows 8 .
In a similar message in the 2010/2011/2012 discussion group: URL....
it is suggested to reinstall the software, but this is not working for me.I have already tried to 'repair', 'reinstall' and completely remove all the software and then reinstalling it, but nothing seems to fix this problem.
Are there any other programs I need to have installed to get this command to work?

Feb 2, 2012I want to use the command viewbase to link an inventor ipt to acad.
But when i give the command i get the message "Inventor server failed to load".
I have installed vba and still get the message.
How can i load the inventor server?

The full rights have been given to appropriate folder which contains (Autolisp application source file, .vlx, Autocad VBA source). It has working for limited users (8-10 users).

When I click the import or load button the program appears to freeze and no dialog box appears. I can hit escape and its back to normal. Oct 19, 2011I am having a problem opening some larger revit models (100MB plus) in revit 2012 I will receive a message saying:
Insufficient memory for load. This computer does not have enough memory to open 'file name' in autodesk revit architecture 2012. Increase the available memory or contact Autodesk support for more information.
We are working on Windows XP SP3 with 3.23gb RAM. Now normally it would be as simple as upgrading the RAM on this machine to 4GB as specified in the system requirements for 2012, but a previous computer I was testing with only 2GB RAM was able to open these files without any issues (despite being a little slower).
The only difference I can see at this stage is the 3GB switch is enables in the 2gb machine.

So if we want to work with Revit we have to install RunAs and start Revit through RunAs with administrator rights.Students have a mandatory Active Directory profile and even if we give "power user" rights we get the same problem.
Revit :: Load Selection In Family Editor
Dec 12, 2013When I save a selection in the family editor I can't seem to find the load selection button on the manage tab like you would in the project environment. The whole panel selection is not there. If I make a selection of at least two elements I get the load selection button on the modify tab. Is this as design or as forgotten?
At this moment it seems I first have to make a selection in order to load another selection.

I chose a number of elements drawn ,And then I needed them again in the future I choose, Thus after selecting elements Click on the Save
Selection And I value Enter for selected elements.
Now that I'm on Manege Selection panel is not,Is not Load Selection Options.
In none of the family environment.....
When we choose an element appears,But the project environment There are icons at the Manege.

Feb 21, 2012I'm going through a tutorial on families (Paul Aubin) and have created a shelf w/ nested brackets that works as expected when flexed in the family editor. Any project I load it into shows it at its default configuration, but when I select it in the project and change it's type in the properties box, the configuration does not flex - it stays as inserted. It also shows my parameters in the properties box as individually modifiable.

Jan 29, 2014I have placed showers within various apartments. These apartments are groups. I have made a change to the family, (realigned a reference plane to be equal between two points). Now I reload the family into the project and no matter what I try, I cannot load it into the project without getting the ungroup error.
Prior to the warning, it states i need to delete a number of dimension references. Which I allow, then the group error appears telling me I still have constraint problems.
I thought it would be fine to dimension to families in groups, but it appears their is the potential for problems.

Jan 17, 2012I can publish my assembly to a dwf using the express option, but can't using the the custom or complete options.
I have gone into the sub assemblies and tried to publish from them - 2 of them work 2 of them give the same error message.
I then went into their sub assemblies and was able to publish them (so that's 2 levels down now).
I have used rebuild all - working my way back to the top level assembly.
I have some sheet metal components in the various assemblies.
