View 1 RepliesIs there a way to edit using a multi camera "technique" ? ( having several videos synchronized with an audio track and just switching between the video tracks) or is there some way to do that ?
View 10 Replies View RelatedComing from a FCP background, and I see this in FCP and in AVID, but I can't seem to do it in premiere, though I really want to. I want a multi monitor set up where the first monitor has my timeline, source window, and project window, then my second monitor has my bins & effects & metadata, then the third will be a full screen of the project window that is still on my first monitor, and then finally a fourth, 65" 4k tv also displaying the project window (mirroring the third monitor). Dragging the project window around and toggling in and out of fullscreen is a waist of time since there was no need to do that with FCP for so many years. I need 3 project windows in premiere (and I dont mean using the reference) , how do I do this with premiere?

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter I flatten a multi-cam sequence, all the video transitions I added have disappeared.
Â
I looked around, and found this item in the list of bug fixes in the July 2013 build-release: "Upon flattening a multicam sequence, transitions are applied on the wrong layers. Can lead to crash with error message […SrcSequenceActionSequenceAddTransitionAction.cpp-57".]"
Â
This does not result in a crash. Obviously, I can put the transitions in again on the flattened sequence (which I have done - client's need the finished vid!).
I want to film my CEO standing on London Bridge as people walk over it. The trick is is that I want to film him at normal speed (for obvious reasons), and i want the people walking past us to be shown at double the speed.
Â
Having thought logically I guess I need to film people walking over the bridge separately from filming my CEO, then somehow superimpose him on the that footage.
Does VSPx4 support multi cam editing ?
I did visit the product website but could not find any reference to multi cam support.
the latest Premiere Pro CC update is supposed to improve multi-cam editing of MXF footage, but I'm still having problems with C300 footage. After flattening a multi-cam track (containing a mix of C300 and Canon 5D 3), some of the C300 clips appear with a striped pattern (the represeantation of the clip in the time line), and don't play back any content. The content is still there, but I have to go back into the original multi-cam sequence, find it, cut it out and replace the "empty" clips in the flattened track.

I assigned ProSound from the Animation tab of the Preferences dialog, but do not see any changes made to the track view in my window. The help documentation specifies that new tracks would appear under the "World" object in the Track View, but alas, I do not see them there. How to enable that feature?

I use a lot of Multiline text, copy and paste that text to other areas of the floor plans that I draw, then edit the text. My problem is when I select the text for editing my cursors always appears in a different location other than Align left.

I want to make a list with aluminum extrusion sizes where I can pick it's name from a list of names. Similar to the custom iProperties "Design State".
I have a multi body part with an extruded cut through all solids. Each solid is derived out to its own part. I edited the extrude feature in the multi body part and removed one solid from the selection set. The cut was correctly deleted from the solid, but when I open the part its still there. The only way to make it update correctly is to manually edit the derive feature in the part. Caught it just before it went off for cutting. 2012 SP2, all hotfixes, win7 64 bit.

We have a problem with some of our multileaders getting a landing distance set to a negative value. Â My lisp routine will correct these to a default value, but then the text jumps a bit. I've uploaded .mov files from my Canon 7D camera onto Adobe Premiere CS6, but after doing some editing the footage in the playback screen is very jerky/slow. I'm working on a brand new iMac OSX and have a RAM of 4GB, so why the playback would be so slow.

If i just stay working in the premiere environment it will continue to work, its only when i leave the program.
i have been working on a pretty long multicam project (About 1h45m) in Premiere Pro CC.I was all done, and during export in Media Encoder i noticed that after about 45m of rendering, the preview window was still showing the beginning of the video. Upon further inspection, i noticed that the video appeared to be Looping. Sencing that something was wrong, i cancelled my render and reopened my project.
Â
when the project reopened i could see that after a couple of edits, there were little white triangles and the top of the clips. I need to stress that before i started rendering, these triangles where not there.
Â
And yes, when i played through my sequence, at every edit (camera change) the multicam clip would play from the beginning again. i have tried to remove everything after where this problem occurs and then drag the footage out. It does allow me to do edits again and it works fine, but i dont really want to spend hours doing it again, not understanding what the problem is and run the risk of it messing up again.
I took some video using a webcam that I need to edit in Premiere Pro. I converted it to 'Mov' and the codec info is 'H264 MPEG4 - AVC'. It imports to Premiere but the video appears extremely pixalated and disfigured to the point where it is unwatchable. I have set the sequence settings to the same as the source file.

It is HD footage and up to 60 GB of footage in the bin. Rendering takes 4xs longer than real time it seems to be. I am not savy with editing.

I just installed Service Pack 2 in my Vista Ultimate 32bit operating system. After the install I opened PS, CS4 and at first every thing looked ok. I then opened an image file, it came up in RAW, I made initial adjustments, and clicked on open image. The image shows in the Navigator window, but there's nothing in the main editing window. It remains blank. If open another window like my browser over PS, and move that window around it leaves a partial image of the browser on top of the image editing window. I had been using Photoshop just prior to installing SP2 and everything was working ok.
