Premiere Pro :: Image Size In Source Window And Program Window
Feb 6, 2014
In the program window, it looks like its been pushed way in on the full image in the source window. No matter what I do, I can't get it to appear the same as in the source window...
is there still no way to disble / mute the audio monitoring in the source window? I'm aware that one could press G and type in a drastically low audio gain level, but this is a clumsy workaround.
Recently while working in multiple windows, when a image is moved for one window to the next, it is resized automatically form its original size , to a new size (ex. Orig. 5x5 to 4.2x4.2).
How can I keep this from happening, so my image retains its original size?
There appears to be a significant difference between the image in my Source monitor and my Programme monitor. About 2stops. Might not look much when scaled down, but conspicious when on full scale.
After installing the trial version of Premeire Pro I've been trying to make a quick test video using an MP4 file on my computer. I've been able to successfully import this file into Premeire however I am unable to see this video in the Source Monitor and the Program Monitor (after having added it to a sequence). I've tried re-encoding the file in AVI and WMV formats however neither of these two worked either. I've also tried just bringing in JPG and PNG images and have be unsuccessfully in viewing these as well. I have however been able to export a still image using the Monitors. So far after about 3 hours of googling the only possible answer to this issue I have been able to find is that Premeire requires 2 seperate harddrives to work; However this seems inaccurate as the program has made no attempt to warn me or even check to see if the computer I am using it on had 2 hard drives during install and start up, nor do I remember seeing it in the listed minimum requirements on the Adobe website. I am more than happy to view a lower quality preview so long as I can actually see what I am doing before rendering in a higher quality.
Everytime I open a document in Photoshop CS5, these 2 dialog boxes (Image Size, Script Alert) would pop up. to cancel 2 times to start editing. Is there a setting I can disable this?
I just upgraded to GIMP 2.8.4 for Mac after spending months using an older version. At the bottom of the image window are tips for using whatever tool one is currently using. Unfortunately, these tips are TINY! I can barely see them! Is there any way to increase their size via GIMP preferences?
Note that I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to editing program code so if this is required I will need specific step by step instructions.
EDIT: Additionally, I've noticed that image windows always stay behind the toolbox and layer windows. Is there any way to reverse the ordering? (So that image windows can move in front of the toolbox/layer window?) With multiple image windows open on a small screen I need all the space I can get.
Seems to no longer be able to choose a color outside the program window.. Previous versions were able to choose any color on my monitors. Might add, I miss being able to click an object and open the color editor directly..
I closed the program & reopened... It then allowed selecting a color outside the program window. Weird. And now I see that rather than "color picker on the context menu, it's "fill color". Wow, I'm losing it today.
As a new user I really prefer the single window mode but have a real problem in that every time I open a filter the window/box that open opens up underneath the single window and I cant see it without minimising the main gimp window. I've played with the preferences windows management options and seem to have all the file options curves etc on top now (these were opening under the single window at one point) but nothing I do seems to want to make the filter boxes open where I can see them - It's making GIMP quite unpleasant to use.
Just recently premiere will crash if i open a browser window then return to the premiere software. run down of what i am working with:
Windows 8.1 64 bit, Intel i7-3770k, 16 gigs of ram, Nividia 650, Anker 5000 gaming mouse, Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6, and the normal other insides (SSD 256 for os and software and a few SATA drives).
If i just stay working in the premiere environment it will continue to work, its only when i leave the program.
I modified a Window Family file by adding a Window inset parameter. When I inserted the window into a wall, otherwise the window worked fine, but when I changed the window's Window Inset value, the frame depth changed instead of the frame's location. The frame was originally made by Sweep tool, but now when I made it by Extrusion tool, the window works fine. Anyway, for future purposes, I would like to know how to be able to use the Window Inset parameter with a frame made by Sweep tool. How do I lock the depth of the frame sweep?
Just recently, upon closing PSP x5, a message window pops up, the title area usually references using the e-learning center or "Explore more ways to learn and love photography", but the window itself is empty except for the message "Do not display this message again" with a checkbox and a Close button. The Close button does not work, nor does the red X close window button. I have to go into Task Manager to finish closing the program.
I'm on a Windows 8 machine and this just started happening after months of use.
Why can't I drop a clip in the Program Monitor from the Source Monitor in Premiere? When I try to move a clip from the Source to the Program Monitor, a hand displays with the "circle with a line through it" symbol.
I edit a ton of parties with cross dissolves on most cuts. Being able to see the waveform in effect controls and match the bass kick or snare would save me hours of time and hundreds of key strokes.
I have just installed my newly purchased PSC5 extended software. When I try to use the ACR it will load and I can use it but when I try to open, save or cancel my image I cannot. This is because the ACR window is too 'long' for my Sony desktop window and the buttons I am trying to access are in the 'shadow' of the desktop window. When I try to resize the ACR window to access the buttons it will let me adjust it on the vertical window edges but not on the horizontal window edges. I have to reboot the laptop to do anything at all.
I wrote some LISP programs. I would like to use the output data generated by LISP program in Command arear of AutoCAD. I Heard we can dave the output data into .dat files.
Macbook Pro Retina friends, photographers, and video editors.Since I installed OS X Maverick, I have the following issues with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6: Why in did I update my Apple OS before waiting 6 months
- browser window appears for a split second, then disappears when importing new files. - browser window sometimes shows all items greyed out when trying to import files. - cannot "Link Media" by example multiple TIFF and one EDL file for subtitles. 1st time menu appears a split second then disappears, then on subsequent tries all is greyed out.
I have a mid 2012 Macbook PRo Retina with SSD @ 50% capacity. All else is extremely fast. All my Adobe Master Collection CS6 is up to date.
Some of the windows open larger than my screen and I am not able to access boxes on the bottom of window such as export box. The sides are fine and so is the top it is only a problem on the bottom. How do I reduce the size of the window so that it fits or is smaller than my screen? I am using a pc with windows 7 software.
Since I updated to CC I've had a bug that drives me a little nuts. Because I have a Retina MacBook Pro connected to an Apple Thunderbolt display, Photoshop seems to get confused about the size of the window to open. It thinks it should be sized to fit on the Retina screen (which I use as secondary), but at 100% on the non-retina screen (the primary display).
The end result is that every time I open a document the window is only showing the top quarter of the document I'm opening. I always have to hit command plus, command minus to get it displaying right.
I have used PSP since version 2, so have been at it for awhile. Just upgraded to 6, as I was using version 4.
The problem I have is when I am in the edit area, and have a photo on the screen I use my mouse wheel to enlarge or shrink depending on my needs. The old version the windows box around image would also resize with image. I have attached a few images. I normal could fix this in the settings, but for some reason the window will not follow the image size as I enlarge or shrink? It does when I actually resize image, but I need this to do that when I am just using mouse wheel to make bigger or smaller on my screen.
Sometimes when we place a window in a wall we can grab the grip and stretch it to any size we want. Other times the only sizes we can use are the standard sizes. I know how to add a standard size but how can we make it to where you can just strectch it to any size we want?
I'm looking to size my model space window so that it is exactly 1280x720 pixels of viewable area for the sake of using plot to .png to create the right size images.
Is there a quick command or menu somewhere that shows the current viewable area of the model space window and allows for it to be changed?
