I am trying to sync up two cameras, only problem one of my cameras creates seperate clips every time I stop and start the camera. How do I tell Premiere Pro CC to group the clips as one camera?
View 4 RepliesI am trying the new audio sync feature in Premiere CC. I am highlighting audio from videoclip and audio from my external harddisk audio recorder. I can press the merge, but cannot choose the "sync by audio" option. I can also not choose the "synchronize" option from the list, as it is geryed out.
Anoter smaller issue , is that i have not figured out how to view the waveforms, i have solid color blocks.
I'm using Pr CC on a Win7 64bit Dell Precision M6700 laptop. I've shot and edited a number of interviews sans problemo but today I'm having problems with outputting a simple edit with audio and video in sync using the h.264 Youtube 720 preset. It's not terrible but enough to grate on the nerves! I attach a screen shot of both my video and audio setting. I've tried both 1 and 2 pass and plain cbr. It's now 2 in the morning CET, I'm knackered and I'm meeting the client first thing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been doing some game recordings with Nvidia's new ShadowPlay. The recording says it is done in "1080p @ 60 FPS with H.264". The recorder outputs into a .mp4 file. When I watch the raw footage, it is all properly synced. However, when I import it into Premiere, it is always out of sync without fail. I know very very little about the program, and have been trying to learn as I go, but I can't seem to figure out how to re-sync it. For now I've been having to cut the sound into parts and adjust the rates manually to get it to sync back up, but this is insanely tedious.
View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter building a new machine with Premiere CS5.5, using NVIDIA Q4000 card, I'm having troubles wioth my audio being out of sync. I am exporting DSLR footage which the same sequence was previously fine on export on my old computer. Now, when I export, the audio is a few frames out of sync. There's something really funny going on. When I play the same video file in Windows media player, it seems to be in sync. When I play it in Quicktime, it's clearly out of sync. Also, when I upload it to Vimeo, it's out of sync as well.

I just finished an animation in Flash and imported the JPEG sequence and the audio WAV into premiere. For some reason the audio wont sync up to the animation and I cant figure out why. Everything should be set correctly. The audio was originally created in after effects and even when I imported the JPEGs into the audio file in after effects it still wouldn't sync.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI have been editing on Premiere and just recently encountered this problem: the video and audio get out of sync AFTER I have imported my media into the program. I have been importing my media in the following process:
I upload the media from my SD card in my camera onto my computer.I watch the media in QuickTime and it plays perfectly. Nothing is out of sync and everything plays in normal time.I create a new project in Premiere and import the media from my computer into the new project.I go to play the media back and start editing, and find the video and audio are out of sync. The video is playing extremly slowly and the audio is playing perfectly fine. I have played around with the speed and duration of just the video (not the audio) and all it does is create weird skips in the video. I have also tried exporting the media to see if it would somehow render itself out, but nothing seems to work. The problem is not with the camera or the original media.
This is how the video looks when I play it straight from QuickTime after uploading the media onto my computer from the SD card.
I've been using Xsplit to record games while I play. I recorded a ~2 hour video and toward the beginning of the video it seems to be pretty a-okay but later in the video when I play it in premier pro, the audio starts falling out of sync.When I play the original raw video the audio and video are both on time.
I read somewhere that the reason why the audio was out of sync was because xsplit uses a "variable framerate".
Not sure if this is true or not, but regardless, I tried exporting numerous times and the audio STILL falls out of whack. I looked on xsplit and there was a setting that i could enable to force constant frame rate..
So I've recorded some footage on GoPro Cameras at 1080p at 29.97 fps. The audio is 48000Hz.
I've recorded audio using Two Zoom h4ns simultaneously. One is at 44100 Hz at 16 Bits and the other is at 44100 Hz at 24 bits.
Now I've tried both a 24fps sequence and a 30 fps sequence, but neither of Zoom recordings match the video, they start off in synch (because i synch them) and then fall out of synch (obviously).
Is it that they fact that they were recorded at different Hz or fps/bits affect it? Is there any way to fix it that wouldn't destroy the footage aesthetically?
1) The keyboard shortcuts panel won't open so I can't change them.
2) My settings refuse to upload to CC no matter what I do. I've tried deleting the stored settings from my CC account. I've tried signing out of CC via the help menu in PP and then signing back in again. I've tried clening the media cache. Restarting/rebooting/opening new project etc etc.. all steps suggested in other posts but nopthing seems to work.
Audio sync problem I'm experiencing with videos recorded with the latest iPad 3 (well, that's what I'm calling it anyway).
I believe the iPad 3 recording format is 1080/30p with 44.1Khz / 16 bit audio, but when I match those settings on a Premiere Pro CS5.5 project (or try 48KHz audio as a test), the audio gradually goes out of sync. If the video is several minutes long, it becomes quite obvious, and by 10 minutes, it's terrible!
I should add the file plays back fine on the iPad itself and was imported to a Mac via iTunes. It also plays fine on the Mac itself in Quicktime.
On a related note, I additionally captured the audio using a Zoom H2n which i intended to replace in Premiere, but foolishly I captured it at 48KHz, rather than the 44.1KHz of the iPad video file. Should I resample it?
I actually managed to line-up the 48 and 44.1KHz waveforms from the iPad and Zoom in Premiere quite accurately, but again both gradually go out of sync with the video...
I'm running Premiere Pro 5.5.2 on Mac OSX 10.7.3.
After I flatten a multi-cam sequence, all the video transitions I added have disappeared.
I looked around, and found this item in the list of bug fixes in the July 2013 build-release: "Upon flattening a multicam sequence, transitions are applied on the wrong layers. Can lead to crash with error message […SrcSequenceActionSequenceAddTransitionAction.cpp-57".]"
This does not result in a crash. Obviously, I can put the transitions in again on the flattened sequence (which I have done - client's need the finished vid!).
I want to film my CEO standing on London Bridge as people walk over it. The trick is is that I want to film him at normal speed (for obvious reasons), and i want the people walking past us to be shown at double the speed.
Having thought logically I guess I need to film people walking over the bridge separately from filming my CEO, then somehow superimpose him on the that footage.
Coming from a FCP background, and I see this in FCP and in AVID, but I can't seem to do it in premiere, though I really want to. I want a multi monitor set up where the first monitor has my timeline, source window, and project window, then my second monitor has my bins & effects & metadata, then the third will be a full screen of the project window that is still on my first monitor, and then finally a fourth, 65" 4k tv also displaying the project window (mirroring the third monitor). Dragging the project window around and toggling in and out of fullscreen is a waist of time since there was no need to do that with FCP for so many years. I need 3 project windows in premiere (and I dont mean using the reference) , how do I do this with premiere?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got in my Kodak DX4530 5.0MP Camera and Wacom ARTZII 12"x12" graphics tablet (256 levels of pressure). They are both setup and working fine!
Luckily enough the Kodak Camera is an easy "plug in play", in that I can plug it in, turn it on, and WinXP automatically makes it a "removable storage" device. Go in, pull images off, open in PS:CS, good to go.
My question is, who here uses Graphics Tablets. I've been told by SO MANY people that though they are odd and hard to master, once you do you'll never want to go back to mouse. Where I'm sure that nothing could COMPLETELY replace the gool ol mouse, such a tool for tracing, and perfect replication of the handwriting and drawing must come rather useful at many times.
Who here uses a tablet? What kind is it, and what can you recommend for someone starting out with one? How durable are these overlays? I noticed the stylus was battery and cordless.

View 1 Replies View Relatedthe latest Premiere Pro CC update is supposed to improve multi-cam editing of MXF footage, but I'm still having problems with C300 footage. After flattening a multi-cam track (containing a mix of C300 and Canon 5D 3), some of the C300 clips appear with a striped pattern (the represeantation of the clip in the time line), and don't play back any content. The content is still there, but I have to go back into the original multi-cam sequence, find it, cut it out and replace the "empty" clips in the flattened track.

It works fine using my mouse to select between angles, but the keyboard shortcuts do not work. Mine are set to use cntrl +1 for camera 1 (and so on for the other cameras). I cannot see the Switch enables auto sync on the Metadata sync button. Its currently visible on another machine a MacPro with Lightroom v4.3. I find this useful to be bale quickly enable and disable the syncing of metadata. Has this been dropped in v4.4 or have I missed a prefs setting somewhere?
I am trying to adjust two D800 files simultaniously. Thus I select both images, toggle the Sync button to the Auto Sync state.
But, the adjustments done to the most selected image do not copy over to the other image, while this is the expected behaviour.

After selecting 2 (or more) files and right clicking and choosing Multi camera sequence from source, I drag the newly created sequence on to the time line but all I get is the two files on the time line stacked over one another. the sequence never gets created.

Syncing in plural eyes is good with our pro res files, but when I try and sync with some mp3 files from a zoom h1 recorder it goes black at the bottom of the timeline and responds really buggy.

Also when I go to the sync preferences>sync settings, the only thing showing up in Adobe ID box is "Sign in as:" and the next line says "Last sync:-" Everything else is empty in that box. Not sure if its related but when I use share on behance, it just stays on loading. I did check to make sure my adobe ID was linked with my behance account. I assume the issues are related to my Adobe ID not showing
The only place I can see my adobe ID working is in the help menu where I see "sign out: (my ID)What can I do to get Sync and "Share on Behance" working?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am attempting to transfer old VHF video to DVD. Using Hauppauge win Tv capture I achieve a surprisingly good quality sound and vision when capturing and all appears well. But! when I play back the VSP, after approx 2 seconds the sound starts going out of sync and progressively gets further and further out of sync, at worst approx 1 min separation. I hoped that after rendering this would correct itself, but no. I am using UVS 1.

The files are all from the same camera and are the same.After burning a BluRay folder on a NTFS external hard disc the first song (is the first from the original video files) is going out of sync. The rest of the Blu Ray is in sync.Watching the first file separtely (KMPlayer and panasonic blyray player) everything is ok.Watching the project in Video Studio before burning everything is ok.
To prevent the out of sync I have made a "smart-proxy file" of the first file, before burning. But sadly no differences. (any need to make a smart-proxy file of all files??)
But not exactly, and after taken some actions I still got out of sync. It has something to do with the BluRay burning but I can not find the cause of it.

How do I sync attributes without using sendcommand or SendStringToExecute. Reason being I am looping the blocks and creating attributes. sendcommand or SendStringToExecute occurs only after the .net command is finished. what I want is that it should sync attributes in the program itself.
