Illustrator :: CS6 - Change Font Size Of Labels In AI User Interface?
Oct 8, 2012I find the default interface in CS6 difficult to read as the menu/tool labels seem very small to me. I can manipulate via Windows, but then the fonts in the windows of all my other apps are too big.
Is there a way to change the size of the fonts in labels in the user interface within Illustrator itself? I thought there used to be a way in preferences some where, but that was a long time ago - maybe even pre-CS?

Feb 7, 2013When I use the brush, eraser, or any other similar tool in Photoshop CS5, and use the [ or ] key to change the brush size, Photoshop will more often than not switch back to the previous tool I was using. The same thing will sometimes happen when I use 0-9 to change the opacity. It's a bit annoying and totally arbitrary when it happens, is there any way to turn this function off?
Similarly, pressing "e" to use the eraser tool will sometimes pull down the edit menu. I thought maybe there might be a correlation between pressing and holding the key, but it seems to be completely random. It will usually happen at least 20-30 times off and on while I'm working. My housemate never seems to encounter these problems in her version of Photoshop; I'm not sure if it's CS5 or CS6 she's using.
GIMP :: Tiled Labels Double In Size?
Jan 13, 2014I have a problem making labels. I designed a label (to be printed out on fabric), 5 x 5 cm, then tiled it to 20 x 20 cm (to be sent to a printing shop for a print proof), but every time, it comes out as 40 x 40 cm, with only 4 rows of 4 labels, which means that the label itself has doubled in size. I don't get it.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Pipe Size Not Update Automatically In Labels?
Sep 17, 2011I have changed some pipe sizes in Vistas (pipe network edit), the object sizes are changed in plan & profile views except the pipe sizes in label, it appears the same sizes as before.
I tried to re apply the labels in entire plan & profile, still be the same.
Photoshop :: Cannot Change And Use Selection Or Crop Tools?
Feb 24, 2013I am using Photoshop Extended CS6. A new problem has started to occur recently. I can select a tool, but I can't change the tool type. For example,I can select the Lasso Tool and when I right-click the tool fly-out appears, but I cannot select a tool from the fly-out to change the tool type. The editing tools, at least the ones I can select, still work except for the selection and crop tools. For the crop tool, the crop lines appear at the edge of the image but they cannot be moved. For the selection tools, nothing is selected. I can still use menu commands such as Canvas Size.
This happens when I open a file or start a new file. I have Windows 7, 4G memory and nothing else running. I have tried 32-bt and 64-bit versions.This has happened intermittently for a month or two. In the past, freeing up space on a hard drive seemed to work. But now I have 50G free on one drive and 30G free on another so I don't see how that could be the problem. Rebooting allows me to use the crop tool once, but then the problem reoccurs.

We label existing structures with smaller text and a different color (as opposed to proposed labels)

GIMP :: Brush Size Between Tools
Jun 13, 2012I'm having an issue when I go back and forth between my paint brush tool and my eraser tool. Ever since I got 2.8 installed, the brush size is the same for all tools. When I had 2.6, if I was working with my paint brush and had it at a small brush size, then turned my pen over to the eraser and I would have that tool's brush size to be much bigger. I wouldn't have to keep on adjusting the size every time I flipped my pen. Ever since I got 2.8, I've had to keep on adjusting the brush size because the brush size stays the same, and doens't stay set for each tool. I'm using windows 7, am using an intous4 tablet and pen, had installed the latest wacom update, the latest gimp obviously with what I believe to be the binary and source code.

Jun 26, 2012I have a drawing containing a surface with contour labels. There are two tabs representing two separate drawings. On one of the drawings I want to change the viewport color of some of the layers so certain features will plot lighter than on the other drawing.
When I change the color of a layer within the viewport, however, the masking on all the contour labels takes on a color (not associated with the color of the layer they're on, or anything else for that matter). Once the masking takes on the color, you can't undo it. You have to exit the drawing without saving it and call it up again in order to have the labels appear properly.

Jan 2, 2012I just merged two catalogs from my work laptop and my home desktop.
One has this folder structure:
YY/MM/DD
One has this:
YY/YY-MM-DD
I'd like to get them together into one unified YY/MM/DD set of folders, preserving labels and collections from both catalogs.
If I delete images out of the catalog and re-import (to get LR to automagically move/create folders) I lose labels and collections.
If I export as catalog then import as catalog (to keep labels) the folder structure doesn't change.
Creating folders manually in the finder or Lightroom would take foooorever. Is there a way to get Lightroom to move everything into the structure I want, keeping labels, etc?

We are working on translating the menus and dialogs on the AutoCAD side. The menus are no problem as it is easy to change the Label property of the menu items in code on the fly. However I haven't been able to find anything similar for the dialogs. Other then rewriting the DCL file on-the-fly is there any way to programmatically change the labels on the dialogs?

I have done this although station 1+25 is still reading 1, station 1+50 is reading 1, etc. There is a precision variable somewhere, and I can't figure it out. I have played with the alignment labels style but no luck. Is there a global drawing settings somewhere that might be controlling this?

See, many times a day I will click the white balance color temperature fileld and start typing "5500" only to then realize that the click on the entry field didn't activate it and I have now inadvertently changed the ratings and/or label colors for several photos. Super frustrating to then have to undo a bunch of times, especially when I'm viewing based on rating and/or color label, because photos can spontaneously vanish from view.
