Photoshop :: Z Axis Missing?
Jan 17, 2013I am using Adobe CS6 Extended. When I click 3D, I can't move the object along the "Z" axis. When I move around I only have the X and Y axis. How do I get the Z axis back.

I.e. every time you open a new sketch the corresponding lateral and vertical axis will be projected onto the sketch.

Sep 14, 2013I just installed a student version of Inventor Pro on my comptuer. I have used this and several other similar software packages before. My problem: when I open a new part file, it takes me to a gray screen. No coordinate axes, view cube, nothing. When I click "Create 2D Sketch," still nothing. Same gray screen. If I draw a line, it doesn't show anything.
I've gone to View -> Object Visibility, and everything seems to be checked off as it should be. I've also clicked User Interface, and it shows the View Cube among other things as being selected.
The software didn't prompt me for an activation key, not sure if that may be relevant to the problem?
AutoCAD Inventor :: Attach Axis System To Cylinder Axis
Mar 25, 2013i try to make an animation. I create a cylinder and i want to rotate it by longitudinal axis. i click 'components', select the cylinder and after i click 'position' to select the axis that axis system appears in the right side of the cylinder not in the middle. If i continue whit this settings the cylinder will rotate by a circle not by his longitudinal axis. How can i move that axis sistem in the middle of the cylinder? I can drag it but can't place it exactly in the middle.

Jan 25, 2013I'm rigging a shoulder pad to a biped and I'd like it to only rotate on one axis. Google hasn't been that useful, and I hope I don't need scripting for this kind of minor thing. I'm rather new to 3Ds Max Design but I'm learning fast and liking it so far!
I've attached what I want to effectively accomplish. I'm looking for a way to lock the z-axis of the object with the upper arm's z-axis.

May 18, 2012I am having a problem with 3d in CS6. When I am working in 3d, sometimes I will create a 3d layer, and while it opens up in the 3d panel, I am restricted to moving aroung the x axis and y axis only, and cannot move around the z axis. The tools at the top of the panel are restrict to the first tool only, and it revolves around the x and y axes only.
This happens intermittently, and to correct I have to restart my computer. How do I resolve this problem.

Feb 20, 2011I am trying to sweep a line of pixels around an axis point in Photoshop (or Illustrator) to create a circle or multiple circles from the line of pixels. I have to use the line of pixels as it is a slice of an original image to capture a color swatch. I have not used Photoshop in close to 10 years and I cannot for the life of me figure out how I used to do it or if I did for that matter? I thought I used to, whilst I had the line of Pixels selected use the Transform>Rotate option then Adjust the pivot point.
Then I manually rotated it once whilst copying (Which I can no longer work out how to do) and just continue with cmd D or whatever the "do again" shortcut was?

Photoshop Elements :: Rotate Multiple Layers On Their Own Individual Axis Not As A Group?
Jul 25, 2013I have a floorplan of a building and am labeling exits of the building for evacuation routes. Each exit label is on its own layer. I need to show the floor plan from different perspectives/orientations and therefore need to rotate the exit labels in place on their own individual axis. So far I have been going in and selecting the image (label) on each layer and rotating it 90 degrees and then repeating the process for the next label. When I group the layers they all rotate on one axis and therefore are not near the exit they are supposed to be near. Is there an easier (quicker) way to rotate the labels as I have to do this for four different perspective for each of four floor plans?

Mar 21, 2013I'm currently making some drawings of a piping system for an oil rigg process system I made in Inventor. I was now supposed to draw an Isometric drawing of some pipes, but i don't think i knew what isometric meant so i made it in 3D. So i made a full xyz 3d drawing instead of drawing 3d on an xy axis. Still, i don't think there will be problems because i'm only supposed to take pictures of this and add it to a repport.
The problem i have is adding dimensions to the lines on the z-axis, they keeb gluing to the xy-axis. It's probably a stupid question, but I just can't seem figure it out. I added a picture of it. Now if i made an ISOmetric drawing i would not have had this problem, hope i don't have to start again.

Nov 11, 20131. With Ortho on, I can't draw a line, circle or else in z axis. In other words, if I select 'Front Plane in orhtographic view', I can't draw up vertical any line, circle or else.
2. With Ortho off, I can draw a line in z axis (Front Plane in orthographic view) but can't draw a circle yet.
3. With orhto on, I can draw a line in z axis (Isometric view) but can't draw the circle.
I think this problem is mainly due to UCS as I've accidently met such a problem in AutoCAD 2007. But restoring to previous view, the problem was resolved there.
what is to be done to enable drawing in z direction.
