View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to incorporate my menus and toolbars into the ribbon environment. I skipped acad 09 so this hasn't been fun. I used the transfer feature in the cui environment to get everything I wanted. I go to 2d environment to check that everything is there and it appears to be there. I load my cui and I get my icons and menus but no ribbon. I have a big message that says, "The Ribbon does not have any tabs or panels currently loaded." I type ribbon to load, but nothing.
I've now messed with this enough that even with the base acad.cuix file I still don't have the ribbons.
I emailed a photo from my light room and all my development panels disappeared and will not come back. What do I do to get them to return?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to Premier Elements 12 and loaded my photo and videos from my android (Galaxy 4G Samsung) into the new program. After which when I went to my Lightroom 5.3 I found my entire library folders except one picture with a missing file statement, gone, disappeared. All gone but the one picture. The original files are still on my hard drive, but can I get them back with my Lightroom changes that haven't been saved? How do I do this? or are they all gone?

i try to make an animation. I create a cylinder and i want to rotate it by longitudinal axis. i click 'components', select the cylinder and after i click 'position' to select the axis that axis system appears in the right side of the cylinder not in the middle. If i continue whit this settings the cylinder will rotate by a circle not by his longitudinal axis. How can i move that axis sistem in the middle of the cylinder? I can drag it but can't place it exactly in the middle.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm rigging a shoulder pad to a biped and I'd like it to only rotate on one axis. Google hasn't been that useful, and I hope I don't need scripting for this kind of minor thing. I'm rather new to 3Ds Max Design but I'm learning fast and liking it so far!
I've attached what I want to effectively accomplish. I'm looking for a way to lock the z-axis of the object with the upper arm's z-axis.
EDIT: Reduced picture size.
Is there any way I can extract the rotation of a block relative to the yz axis and xy axis. I can extract the insertion point and xy rotation but not the yz and xz.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've recently been dealing with problems related to the startup Reading Preferences in which I deleted/hid/moved preference files to solve the long lagtime it took to startup. Problem solved but was unrelated to the Preferences files.
Now it seems I've lost ACR. Whenever I've tried to open Olympus Raw files (OCR) either in Bridge or Photoshop (CS2) I get a window saying "could not complete your request as it is the wrong kind of document" ! The OCR thumbnails still show up in Bridge and PS so it's not like the raw files have lost the ACR association. And I see the ACR plugin is still in the Files folder (C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobePlug-InsCS2File Formats)
how do you add keyframes to 3D Rotation Z Axis on the Ps timeline?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem with 3d in CS6. When I am working in 3d, sometimes I will create a 3d layer, and while it opens up in the 3d panel, I am restricted to moving aroung the x axis and y axis only, and cannot move around the z axis. The tools at the top of the panel are restrict to the first tool only, and it revolves around the x and y axes only.
This happens intermittently, and to correct I have to restart my computer. How do I resolve this problem.
Is there a way to drag an object so that it strictly follows only the X or Y axis?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop CS5.1 on a Mac. When launching Photoshop from Lightroom, I got an unexpected error (don't recall now what it said). my custom workspace and all of my actions (default and user-defined) are gone. I utilize these actions heavily in my workflow and need them back ASAP. I have a good backup system, but when I click Load Actions from the Actions Palette, the default location
[UserName]>Library>Application Support>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop CS5.1>Presets>
Actions folder is empty (and backup files of this folder are empty long before I had this problem). Interestingly, my
[UserName]>Library>Preferences>Adobe
Photoshop CS5.1 Settings file still has an Actions Palette.psp file in it. I have shut down and rebooted many times without success. What I can do to get these actions back? I'm hoping it’s a matter of pointing Photoshop back to my preferences some how. I don't have to recreate all of my custom actions from scratch.
Suddenly, out of the blue, the saving as options for jpeg, pdf, and a ton of other options have disappeared from my Photoshop CS 5.1 (both for 64-bit and 32-bit). They used to be there. I have run updates and even uninstalled and reinstalled the program and still they are gone. I have to open projects in other programs in order to convert them. I can't work like this. where I can get the file or whatever it is that has disappeared in order to get this working again?

This is only a recent problem with three of the many directories of image files. Preferences are all set the same, and the files show up in explorer. None of the attributes are set to "hidden"?

This is on Photoshop 5.0, i'm currently using CS2 but it would still be useful to be able to use 5.0 aswell. And before you ask, clicking Windows > Show/Hide Tools doesn't work, and as far as i'm aware it's not off screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just transferred my stuff from my old G4 to a new Mac Pro and I'm having a few hiccups along the way.
I had it working ok a few days ago and now I can't use my scanner because that Twaine software that CS2 uses to import from the scanner etc. has disappeared.
I've tried to find a place to download it but I'm not having any luck, you'd think that Adobe would include it with the CD but they didn't .
I am trying to sweep a line of pixels around an axis point in Photoshop (or Illustrator) to create a circle or multiple circles from the line of pixels. I have to use the line of pixels as it is a slice of an original image to capture a color swatch. I have not used Photoshop in close to 10 years and I cannot for the life of me figure out how I used to do it or if I did for that matter? I thought I used to, whilst I had the line of Pixels selected use the Transform>Rotate option then Adjust the pivot point.
Then I manually rotated it once whilst copying (Which I can no longer work out how to do) and just continue with cmd D or whatever the "do again" shortcut was?
Is it possible to restrict the move tool only to the X or Y axis?
View 1 Replies View Relatedif there is an automatic (or near automatic) method of deskewing an image on both the X and Y axis. My image is sheared off on some angles, since it is a scanned image. I like the Ruler Tool method of rotation (i.e. drawing a line on the 'straight' axis, and going to Rotate>Arbitrary), so something like that, except being able to draw both an X and Y straight axis would be ideal. I have tried Crop and Straighten,

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have some brushes that I'd used in Photoshop CS4 (still have Photoshop cs4 on my system) I'd purchased the CS6 Master Suite - and don't have those brushes in PS6.
I navigated to my Photoshop CS4 installation into Presets>Brushes thinking to Copy and Paste them into my PS6 installation, and don't see them there. Have looked both in 64 bit and 32 bit program area (I'm running Windows 7 64 bit system), and can't find all those brush presets anywhere.
Have tried searching for .abr files from the start menu but that's not pulling anything up (not even the ones installed with CS6 so not sure how to use that search properly or if it can't search by document type).
