I am running Photoshop CS6. There is a "widget" that follows my cursor around when using certain tools . This was not present when I was using CS5. It's a little black box with coordinates inside of it that follows my cursor around.
View 7 RepliesIm having issues with cs4. When i use a tool (paintbrush, eraser), it randomly applies it somewhere else. For instance when trying to paint precise lines while following and edge the brush will apply itself randomly somewhere else. It always happens when i release the mouse button and then press it to start using again. I could be painting a horizontal line, let off the mouse button, repress it and all of a sudden the brush paints a vertical line 3 inches away!

How can I get them back? Are they only visible under certain circumstances?
View 6 Replies View RelatedAm using Photoshop CS6 on iMac 27inch with Mountain Lion. Experiencing inability to use the move tool to place one image on another after extraction. I place the move tool on the previously extracted image and drag it into an new image, but the extracted image does not get placed on the new image. Also, cursor disappears frequently when using Photoshop for extended periods of time.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAny fixes coming for PSCC when the cursor vanishes (Don't say it's an Apple prob, because it only happens in PS and all 6 of my machines.) Also the tools freeze quite often and won't come back until I touch the desktop. Then PS plays catch up doing every click or hit I happen to hit in frustration. Reinstalled it twice from a clean install. This is not a release ready product. BTW I have been using PS since 1994 to color comic books and with photography.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just put in a new Radeon 5770 card (PCI slot 1) into my Mac Pro 2008 Quad Core which is running Photoshop CS3. Now, the cursor (on all tools) disappears when mousing over any open PDS document. In Indesign, the cursor for all tools shows and works - as well as other pragrams.

I am using Illustrator CS5.1 on a iMac, I am working on 10.9 Mavericks, and now the crosshair/cursor/ various tools have almost dissappeared to a /faint grey in tint, will I have to wait for a fix from Adobe or Apple or is there something in preferences I can click to solve issue?
I Have already reported this 'Bug' via Adobe website.
I have to keep pressing my nose against the screen and squint my eyes to see where I am drawing and designing, it's not a pretty sight.
For simple files, the 3d widget appears when I convert an object to a Postcard and responds to my use of it. For some of my complex multi-layer files, the widget shows up but does not respond to my mouse clicks. I can manipulate the object using the 3d navigation tools, but the widget is useless.I'm having problems with a 170 MB file with no other apps running other than Photoshop.
I'm on a Mac 2.66 GHz PowerBook with 8GB of RAM running OSX 10.8.5.
My 3D axis widget was showing fine( solid, clear, and visible in front of the mesh I was working on), but now It has started to switch between normal and Blurry/Fuzzy( as if it is sitting behind the mesh and the whole scene). It is very difficult to see sometimes and even more s to access it.Sys info:

Everytime I pick something it either goes to RGB or the Black to White slider when I'm creating a gradient. I then have to choose the 2 pixel wide triangle and navigate to HSV. This drives me insane. Who uses RGB other than to enter a color someone else gave you as an RGB value to type in manually (because you can't use the color picker because you've got 8 different color management problems that shift color around everytime you copy and paste)?
View 8 Replies View RelatedToday, I've been mostly trying to get the Cloud Gallery 2 widget to work as advertised. According to the instructions, once the photos I want to use are in place I can -
'Set text shown when mousing over the image using the caption field on the image tab of the Utilities > Web Properties dialog. Do this for all images.'
I've done this, but all I can get to appear is the main title of the widget itself. At no point can I get individual captions to appear describing the graphic.
WHat does a WIdget can do that a Phone App can't and opposite? And if I create a widget or a phone App with Adobe Edge..How can I make it available on the net for people to download and install it on their phone. FOr instance : can I put it on my website with a link to download it? or does it need to be in a store of Apps or Widgets?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI often need to create icons at small sizes 6-12 (pts) so that it's easy to copy and paste into InDesign. On small corner areas, the widget disappears. When I scale the vector drawing up, they appear. I can work on them larger and just scale them back down in but was wondering if there was a setting or something to get them to show at the smaller sizes.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy cursor appears and disappears while in GIMP as I move the cursor over the canvas. I can make the cursor appear but only if there is no movement of the cursor. It makes no difference which tool I select, the size of the canvas, or the level of zoom.
Please note that this only occurs in Gimp, and none of my other applications. It started when I upgraded from openSUSE 12.1 to 12.2. I'm assuming that it has something to do with my input device configuration, but I could be totally wrong.
I have a total of 3 input devices - Core Pointer, Logitech USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse, and Virtual Core XTEST Pointer. Both the Optical Mouse and XTEST Pointer are DISABLED. Core Pointer is the only one enabled. Enabling Optical Mouse and XTEST Pointer give me other problems in Gimp and need to remain disabled.
For the Core Pointer, Mode is set to SCREEN, a message says that 'The axis X has no curve', and the following Axis Settings:

I instal form SDK User Tools because I need in Inventor Drawing Tools (Revision cloud). I do this install like on website Autodesk show and I didn't get it on ribbon. I do also registry of this plugin but I also didn't get it.

There seems to be way too many tools in the tools panel for me. Many of them I will rarely, if ever use. Is there any way I can rearrange or remove some of them? It would unclutter the screen immensely.
