For some reason I am not able to link my accordion widget to other pages within my web site. The pre-existing link to xara.com works fine. When I remove it and put in my own link (and follow protocols within the linking function in the web properties box) it simple won't work.

View 3 Replies View RelatedToday, I've been mostly trying to get the Cloud Gallery 2 widget to work as advertised. According to the instructions, once the photos I want to use are in place I can -
'Set text shown when mousing over the image using the caption field on the image tab of the Utilities > Web Properties dialog. Do this for all images.'
I've done this, but all I can get to appear is the main title of the widget itself. At no point can I get individual captions to appear describing the graphic.
I'd like to ask you how to create link image to website in jpg/png with coreldraw or photopaint.
Somethimes a strange thing happens, when i move vector graphic with arrows. it vanishes immediately, so i have to go back to make the graphic visible.
I have just designed a leaflet that i want to send by email to different companies. I'd like to have a link on the leaflet so when you click it on the e-mail, it will send you straight to my website

If not, is it even possible to have that many pages with those numbers of large size pictures? Just wanted to know if others have done such a thing. View 6 Replies View RelatedI wish to use a shadow on my web site headings but even after using the HTMLtext (names) tag, after publishing, I cannot find the heading as text, obviously converted to an image.
Is there a way to do this i.e. have a shadow but still read the heading as text in the page view source?
when i create images in Xara they look very clear and crisp but once exported and appear on the website they lose their clarity and sharpness.
Which brings me to the question.. what is the best way to export images for a website? Are there advanced settings that I may use to improve the images appearance on the website.

Why does a previewed website come out at only 1/2 the screen size using Xara Designer Pro 6? I am viewing on a 1920x1080 widescreen and have used the template supplied by Xara.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIt seems a Live Copy change made on the page holding the original Live Copy will change all copies on all pages but not in reverse. If I change the copy of the Live Copy on Page 2, only the page 2 object changes (local change) but if I change the original Live Copy or any other copies of it located on Page 1, then all copies on all pages change (global change.)
Not a problem, just trying to understand. If I want to change all Live Copies of an object on all pages of a document then must be be done from the page of the original Live Copy?

View 6 Replies View RelatedHaving an issue with Xara Pro 4 and AccuRIP (Epson1430). Not sure if it's Xara, The printer or AccuRIP issue.
THE ISSUE - when sending multiple pages to the printer, where the pages are spooled, the output will have vertical rasterized streaks of zaggies throughout the output.
THE SOLUTION - send 1 page at a time, wait for it to print, then send next page. FYI Corel has a similar issue when sending several spot pages at the same time.
Using AccuRIP for printing halftones and vectors?
I know one of the new features in X9 is the web publishing feature where you put page numbers and those with tablets can flip through the pages. I have an Android and went to the pages that were designed using this new feature but saw nothing but a website that I had to scroll down like any other except there was page numbers on the bottoms as I scrolled. In fact, I had to left and right scroll to see the full pages before scrolling down. What am I missing? How is this feature any better than just normal scrolling?

I need some pages only a certain height and others shorter, taller, etc. When I edit the size to say 1000x width and 3000x height somehow all the other pages either lengthen or shorten and cut content.

So, ideally, I would have a front page to my drawing set, and this would have a 'Contents' type table on it, with the title name of each drawing in one column, then the drawing number in the next column. This is the tricky bit, someone must know: If i was to change the name / number of any item in this table, could it change also (linked to) the following items:
Drawing title (as a text idem on the layout sheet that that drawing relates to)
Drawing number (as a text idem on the layout sheet that that drawing relates to)
Elevation call-out (on the plan view)
And possibly:
Excel reference cell
Drawing layout tab title (this might be pushing it!!)
Perhaps this could be done by linking to an external Excel spreadsheet with these titles modified in there? I'm not sure. This would be ideal as typing into excel is a lot easier than the triple click text modify method required currently.
I waste a lot of time renaming and updating sheet names / titles / numbers. Are there standard templates for drawing sets that may have this built in available anywhere that I could try?
I have managed to create a hyperlink from an image, to another page on my site. For some reason I am not able to create a link for some other images and I do not know why. (Designer Pro 6). I have used the same settings via link but as said this does not work? Do images have to be a certian format for hyperlinks to work?

I have tried putting layers over it but I cant get more than one layer to work.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSome way to get Illustrator to never use any Widget other than HSV? Everytime I pick something it either goes to RGB or the Black to White slider when I'm creating a gradient. I then have to choose the 2 pixel wide triangle and navigate to HSV. This drives me insane. Who uses RGB other than to enter a color someone else gave you as an RGB value to type in manually (because you can't use the color picker because you've got 8 different color management problems that shift color around everytime you copy and paste)?

For some of my complex multi-layer files, the widget shows up but does not respond to my mouse clicks. I can manipulate the object using the 3d navigation tools, but the widget is useless.I'm having problems with a 170 MB file with no other apps running other than Photoshop.
I'm on a Mac 2.66 GHz PowerBook with 8GB of RAM running OSX 10.8.5.
I am running Photoshop CS6. There is a "widget" that follows my cursor around when using certain tools . This was not present when I was using CS5. It's a little black box with coordinates inside of it that follows my cursor around.
