Im using sing Designer Pro X9, I have a large photograph and I would like to make links in different sections in the photograph so when the cursor goes over a section a popup layer with text would appear and go away when cursor is moved away again. I have tried putting layers over it but I cant get more than one layer to work.

Is there an effective way to remove or tone down the shine without interfering with the rest of the photograph?
I have a flame image. And in between all the flames was black. I made them all white to help me out a bit but now i don't know how to delete ALL the white.

I have seen on forums where users will find a good reference image and use it to create a new black and white noise picture utilizing the reference.

My company just upgraded from CorelDraw 12 to 15. One thing that's especially annoying is every time we change object sizes and press return instead of applying the changes we get an annoying Text Attributes box twice before it will change.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using xara xtreme 4, i always used it to import large A1 size pdf files to resize them with xara on A4 page. I am trying to import now a 50 mb pdf file, after asking me if i need to optimize for editing i click import, it shows that it is converting the document then it asks me if i need to merge or insert to a new page i click merge and finally nothing shows on my sheet, still empty!
is there a better way to resize that pdf file?
how do you change the tool bar buttons to small buttons? The options are all greyed out! I am old but not that blind yet. This is a work stoppage, and abandon software problem for me.

For some reason I am not able to link my accordion widget to other pages within my web site. The pre-existing link to xara.com works fine. When I remove it and put in my own link (and follow protocols within the linking function in the web properties box) it simple won't work.

I'm wondering what I will need to do in order to get a reasonably non-pixelated poster when enlarging a picture from a smaller size.
Is the most important feature of the picture it's resolution? I know at times I've tried enlarging pictures and they are pretty pixelated after the process. I'm guessing that resolution is the key but I would love to hear from the experts that do this on a regular basis.
I know some of you have made building size signs, are these from pictures or are they from vector creations? How do you get these to be so clear when enlarging?
I have a client who asked me to create artwork for a banner she is printing for a trade show. The banner is 19.5 FEET long and almost 8 feet high. I have designed the banner as 6.5x2.6ft with the intent of then dividing it into 9 equal parts which I would blow up to 6.5x2.6 and send off to the printer. So far so good. The problem is that the segments are still so large that when I try to export them as PDFs, I am running out of memory. I tried doing them as jpegs, but when I change the resolution for export to 300dpi, nothing changes- the number of pixels x umber of pixels doesn't increase. My client needs this artwork off to her printer asap and I am at a complete loss.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have 2 to 6 tables per drawing, each at a maximum of 48 cells. I linked them through the special paste and expended them so each cell is 6" Wide and 1" Tall (in model space) and seen through a viewport at 2" = 1'-0" (so 1" wide by .167" tall). The text is noticeably fuzzy and I'm trying to clear it up without going back to the Tables (the reformatting of the Tables already spent an extra 2 hours on one of the 11 assignments).

I have a family photo including many text layers. I'm trying to edit the text in a selected large multi-line text layer. I'm following the steps from the appropriate PSE article, but I always end up creating a new layer and the red/green no-go/go option. I thought I should just be able to double-click the text layer and start editing.
I have a document that is separated into categories of information, (i.e. radio stations, newspapers, network programs, cable programs, etc.). I tried to add section markers to each page where a new section begins. But if I make edits and add information before, and a new page is created, the section marker stays on the same page and doesn't move with the beginning of the section itself. I am using a primary text frame with smart text reflow, which I assume has something to do with it. I tried changing the end of story option to "End of Section." I also checked preserve facing pages (because a section needs to start on the right page). I thought that this would make it enough text was added that a new page was created before a section marker, the new page would be created before the section marker and the section marker would move its content.
So, for example,
Section 1 (Radio Stations)
first page has header that says "Radio Stations," followed by entries of radio stations
Section 2 (Newspapers)
first page has header that says "Newspapers", followed by entries of newspapers
So say section 1 starts on page 15, and section 2 starts on page 29. I need to add a few radio stations on any page in section 1, let's say 22. I add some information, text after flows into next pages, but the section 2 marker stays on page 29 even after the first page with header "Newspapers" has now moved to page 31.
I have created a polar grid in illustrator with many sections. I want to be able to enter text in every section of the grid and not just along the path lines. How do i create text frames so each grid section within the polar grid is separate and therefore allows me to click on it and enter text. I would also like to change the colour of all the polar grid sections individually. I think it might have something to do with threaded text but not sure.

I am working with irregular solids and after I SECTION them, I would like to export to a text file the data points that make up the perimeter of the sections.
Ideally, I would like to do it from the command line, but that's a secondary goal, first of all I would like to know how to do it.
I am using Civil3D 2010. I am trying to export the offset/elevation data from my cross sections to a text file or excel file so i can paste the info into another program. so far i've been labeling the offset/elevation info on the section and typing it into excel by hand.
