My site has 22 pages, but only 11 of them are product pages which are set-up the same way. I want to make the same change to all 11 product pages. Is there a way to do that without having to repeat the change on all 22 pages?
View 3 RepliesFor some reason I am not able to link my accordion widget to other pages within my web site. The pre-existing link to xara.com works fine. When I remove it and put in my own link (and follow protocols within the linking function in the web properties box) it simple won't work.

I am designing perfume bottles and for that i need to to repeat a semi circle to repeat over a curved surface fo the bottle. To simplify the problem i have created curved surface and made a semi cirle as a feature, now i want the feature to repeat on the curved surface. I have tried to rectangle pattern, aswell as the circular pattern in all possible ways i can think.
P.s. I have hp I7 processor, 8 gb ram, windows 7 and am using autodesk inventor pro 2013
After laying up a nameplate design and having inspection verify the design I went to the next stage of of our production which is step and repeat.
I stepped the nameplate 5 down and items 3 and 4 are missing 1 line of text but the text re-appears on the last (5th) image. I then I stepped it accross 6 times with items 3 and 4 still missing text all the way accros (I would expect this). The missing text went un-noticed by both me and inspection since the first (upper left) and last (lower right) images should be identically correct and they were.
I have designed a banner. How do i insert it in my website as a pop up banner? I', using Xara Web designer 9.

If not, is it even possible to have that many pages with those numbers of large size pictures? Just wanted to know if others have done such a thing. Also if possible, can a large document be divided into number of xara files and then exported as pdf and put together in adobe acrobat to make a large output for printers?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI wish to use a shadow on my web site headings but even after using the HTMLtext (names) tag, after publishing, I cannot find the heading as text, obviously converted to an image.
Is there a way to do this i.e. have a shadow but still read the heading as text in the page view source?
when i create images in Xara they look very clear and crisp but once exported and appear on the website they lose their clarity and sharpness.
Which brings me to the question.. what is the best way to export images for a website? Are there advanced settings that I may use to improve the images appearance on the website.

Why does a previewed website come out at only 1/2 the screen size using Xara Designer Pro 6? I am viewing on a 1920x1080 widescreen and have used the template supplied by Xara.

View 7 Replies View RelatedIt seems a Live Copy change made on the page holding the original Live Copy will change all copies on all pages but not in reverse. If I change the copy of the Live Copy on Page 2, only the page 2 object changes (local change) but if I change the original Live Copy or any other copies of it located on Page 1, then all copies on all pages change (global change.)
Not a problem, just trying to understand. If I want to change all Live Copies of an object on all pages of a document then must be be done from the page of the original Live Copy?

View 6 Replies View RelatedHaving an issue with Xara Pro 4 and AccuRIP (Epson1430). Not sure if it's Xara, The printer or AccuRIP issue.
THE ISSUE - when sending multiple pages to the printer, where the pages are spooled, the output will have vertical rasterized streaks of zaggies throughout the output.
THE SOLUTION - send 1 page at a time, wait for it to print, then send next page. FYI Corel has a similar issue when sending several spot pages at the same time.
Using AccuRIP for printing halftones and vectors?
I know one of the new features in X9 is the web publishing feature where you put page numbers and those with tablets can flip through the pages. I have an Android and went to the pages that were designed using this new feature but saw nothing but a website that I had to scroll down like any other except there was page numbers on the bottoms as I scrolled. In fact, I had to left and right scroll to see the full pages before scrolling down. What am I missing? How is this feature any better than just normal scrolling?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been exploring migrating my Design and PrePress departments away from Illustrator & Flexi and transitioning to Corel. Unfortunately I've hit a major stumbling block
Right now I have a team of designers laying out sign designs. They draw each sign and we generate a message schedule for those signs in excel. From there, we've been able to use the print merge function in Corel to transfer all the messages from the data sheet to the signs. The problem is, each sign is placed on a separate page within the Corel file. I know you can then use print imposition to gang those signs for printing...but the problem is we have a laser engraver, rotary engravers and routers that are all being run. I've fairly certain we could "print" to the laser without any issues but I'm not as confident regarding the other machines.
Typically once we have the drawings of every sign created (currently doing this in Flexi), we have programmers that gang all similar components together on files that are used to power the rotary engravers. Because the print merge function in Corel puts each sign on a separate page, I'm not sure how we'd be able to transition without having to copy, paste and place each sign back on to a single page. Our jobs often run into the hundreds of signs so the extra labor required would kill any savings such a transition might bring us.
Is there a way to combine pages post print-merge, to get all the objects on a single page? I had really hoped to be able to gang all objects together on a single page within a single file.
i am using since 5-6 years adobe fireworks, and there it is possible to make inner shadows for object, and this is really great!!!
how can i make same effect with easy in xara designer?
Fro example when i release to layers in illustrator i than can use separete objects in after effects to animate it. In xara i find one option is to export separate layers as png. Is kind a way to go but not when i have my entire document with hundreds of objects on one layer.

I can only snap to the page but would have thought it a common requirement to snap background gradients / textures to the bleed size.
Of course a work around is to set up guides or draw my own bleed rectangle, but that rather defeats the point of offering a native bleed?

I'm a CAD designer and I use XDP7 to accuratly register graphics to frontplates, but the current method of calculating the offset for each object is very tedious.
The selector tool info bar has a 9 square grid that a pop up says "Set Orign Position" but sadly this is for rotating only. It would be useful to toggle to colour of these squares to set both.
I know that XDP7 "knows" the centre of an object as the "Arrange" function uses it, but what I want to do is set an object origin to the centre and to be able to use the X Y "Position of Selection" numbers to move it.
In the Page & Layer Gallery there are the small eyes to make objects Visible or not. If for example a document has one layer so Layer 1, closing the Visible eye beside the layer, all objects disappear. Which is anyway my target, just in this way the eyes beside individual objects became gray, saying that "click parent to show".
Is there maybe way to close all objects visible with one step, but be able individually open them after? As I can see this works only on that way that if the individual objects are closed one by one, in that way can be opened one by one, but if closed in one on layer level, in that case can be opened only on that level. I would like to avoid close all objects one by one
