In my pc,video card supports openGL, and the openGL is available in performance menu, but the scrubby zoom does not active, and I cannot have a pan zoom ,how can I update the photoshop to remove the bug?
View 3 RepliesWhen I uninstall my ATI Drivers scrubby zoom works and also the animated zoom works. When I install the drivers for my ATI 6970 GPU they don't. Under Performance the OpenGL is selected, the video card detected is AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series. I have checked that I have the latest drivers. What do I do?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop CS5.1 on a Windows 7 laptop. Its about 3-4 years old. But this problem has started only recently. Every time I use the section tool, it will almost always break my scrubby zoom and makes a weird, glitch looking box. (as shown)
It also drops the quality of my images slightly. Does this have to do with my video card?
The other day(most likely either coinciding with an update or maybe downloading another CC program) scrubby zoom and flick panning both stopped working. If I select the zoom tool scrubby zoom is greyed out.
Adobe Photoshop CS6 version 13.1.2 x32 EXTENDED
I checked my preferences and OpenGL is enabled, so I don't understand why it randomly stops working when I'm trying to get work done. Been working for less than four hours today and have had to restart Photoshop CS5.5 6 times. It starts working for a little while, then the "Scrubby Zoom" box becomes greyed out and the shortcut doesn't work as well.
Also when I hit space (hand tool) to drag the image around, that stops working at the same time as the zoom. I'm using an Intuos4 with this, haven't had problems with it until recently but there haven't been any significant changes in my machine (PC), which has a nice graphics card, processor, etc. I'm using Google Chrome, maybe it has something to do with my browser being open at the same time as PS?
When an macro of a Lisp is active I can zoom and pan in a drawing. I press Escape to quit.Why can't I do that when a form is active in vba? Is that only because Showmodal is on?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just spent thousands of dollars on a new cintiq 22hd touch and now people are telling me that touch zoom and rotate are not supported in photoshop when running it with a windows platform (only works with MACS)???!!! are you serious???!!! I just tested this out and its TRUE!!! You can pan with touch but not zoom or rotate. The zoom and rotate functions work in all my other programs BUT NOT PHOTOSHOP. I even have the latest version of photoshop (CC), latest patch and all and nope! no multitouch support!
I dont know who im more pissed with WACOM or ADOBE. Wacom's touch advertising was supposed to be their selling point! if you cant even use it with the most popular graphics program...err what's the point?And Adobe should have provided support like what...AGES AGO...the touch tablets and cintiqs have been out for almost a year now!

Window means that it scales up to the entire window, however it only goes up to 100%.
Before I save a drawing in AutoCAD Architecture, I hit ZOOM EXTENTS so the thumbnail preview is accurate and so it comes up the same way the next time it's opened. Unfortunately, after doing a ZOOM EXTENTS, SAVE & CLOSE, upon re-opening the drawing, the view shifts downward, which usually covers up the title of the drawing.

I've used lightroom for a few weeks. I was playing around with the Navigation bar settings. Now my zoom won't work.
1. When I move the cursor near a corner or edge of the photo, the cursor appears as a magnifying glass, and the zoom works just fine.
2. When the cursor is anywhere else on the photo, then the cursor appears as an arrow symbol. And when I click once or twice on the photo in order to zoom, the photo being displayed just switches to another other photo a few behind or forward in the sequence.
I used to be able to click or double click anywhere on the photo being displayed, and I could zoom in on that spot. I wish lightroom were working as it was.
Since Edge only has rectangles and ellipses built in as available shapes, how to I/we work with polygon shapes and active mouseover areas INSIDE of these shapes and non-active mouseover areas OUTSIDE of the shapes?
Problem/symptom: when I import a polygon, be it any file format from from Photoshop or SVG from Illustrator, a rectangular border/background (transparent) gets applied, leading to this rectangle defining the mouseover area of the shape - and not the shape itself (be it a star or whatever).
WHAT I WANT: the very shape defines the mouseover area. How do I achieve this?? See examle below:

why do i have to write the text again, after registration? I was quite amused, that i couldn't find out, how to scale images in a slideshow to full screen. i tried it with the zoom to fill frame option, but actually nothing happened.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use Photoshop CS2 to create Designs for webpages. These designs have pixel-exact elements, e.g. a 1-pixel-line from top to bottom.
Now when I zoom in (>100, then I have sort of anti-alias, so that the 1-pixel-line isn't only one blue anymore, but it has different blue tones. I guess for photo manipulations etc. this anti-aliasing zoom is great, but for webdesign it sucks because I don't know if only the zoom make the line "corrupt" or if it really is corrupt.
Is there a way to change this zoom?

I am working on getting some settings done, moving from 2008 to 2012. How do you set the Middle Mouse Button (wheel) to either Zoom All or Zoom Extents when you double click it? I thought it was set in the Main CUI file.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy keyboard has a zoom key with + and - selections. I use to use this key in drawings to zoom in and out when in the AutoCAD application when we had Windows XP. Now that I have Windows 7 I can't do this. I can't find out how to assign this key on the Microsoft Keyboard interactive software either. I have the other keys assigned as desired.
Can I still use my keyboard zoom key to zoom in and out in drawings? If so, how do I set this up in AutoCAD, or do I need to do this through a Microsoft keyboard application?
I am having problems with zoom, pan and rotate at high zoom level. The movements becoming jerky and delayed. But for whatever reason the problem exists in some assembly files and not in the others.

I can't find zoom settings in 3ds max 2013. Where they are? I think that in previous max it was in Customize -> Viewports tab. But now it is not there.
I tried searching the forums for this topic but the search thing didn't seem to work.
A friend of mine installed Photoshop CS for me (an upgrade from 7.0) and for some reason I can't use CTRL + and CTRL - to zoom in and out, I have to use the mouse with the zoom tool which slows me down quite a bit over the course of 20 or so photo edits.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I checked Keyboard shortcuts in the preferences menu and they were correct. I've made no other changes to the program.
I was recently having trouble getting my 3d features to work in photoshop. I tried re-setting everything and reinstalling the program and changing preferences and nothing worked. Finally after about 4 hours of trying to figure it out I figured out that I was working in CMYK color mode, so I changed it to RGB and that fixed it. So, if you're having trouble with this make sure you check your color mode and be sure that it is in RGB not CMYK.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI feel really dumb right now but for some reason I'm having trouble deselecting. First off, I'm talking layers and vector objects here. I know Cmd D deselects selections. But how you do deselect any layer which might currently be active? I'm working in PS CS6 for the first real time and it's like I suddenly got dumb or something.
I know you can select a blank area of the Layers Panel to do it, but my Layers Panel is full right now, so I don't even see any dead space. This is especially troubling because I'm making a lot of shape layers and if I do that while a layer is selected then I wind up making masks.

I was going through the chapters and I came upon the use of the Rotation Tool. While following along I selected the rotation tool to rotate an image, but with teh tool selected all I got was the little circle with the line through it indicating it was not active.what may be causing this?

I want it to stay on the new layer I selected. Is there an option for this?
