View 5 RepliesMy annotations disappear when i replace an ipt with similar ipt in an idw file. The view and the browser update to the new part but the annotation disappear.
I am working with a front view in both ipts.
An image I imported contains an area with quite a few different, yet very similar colors (different shades of the same red). I want to change the complete area to one single red tone. What's the most appropriate approach to this? Especially without loosing the antialiasing at the edges that surround the area.
View 3 Replies View RelatedTwo of mine close friends are going to be wedded at the end of this month and I want to do them a slideshow...as a gift. In some of the images, I want to desaturate certain areas to give more attention to the primary subject of interest.
How do I do that in photoshop?
I achieve that effect the cheesy way: MS Office Picture Manager > Crop> resize to desire result> Print Screen (on the keyboard)> Open Paint> Edit > Paste> Save> use MS Office Picture Manager to crop to desire result.
There are two major problems with that: one, I cant get rid of the "crop frame" from within the image; two, the image quality is decidedly bad.
How to compare two similar solid model and found where its differetiate is, and how to compare two similar drawing let say rev.1 to rev.2 and found where its differentiate is?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an image of a dog on a white background. I've tried several methods to remove the white background, but the dog is a beagle and has some white fur. There are places where it is almost indistinguishable where the fir ends and the background begins (on his neck). What is the best method to remove the background?
While I've used Photoshop a lot, I am not formally trained, so need input on what tolerance levels, etc. should probably be. I've inserted the image. Haven't purchased it yet because I'm not confident I'm going to be able to remove the background.
I am developing a plugin which is supposed to fill contents (text/image) from external source into a ai file that has placeholders. So far I am able to get the text part working using text frames. I am however not able to figure out a way to provide placeholder for image. Is there an equivalent of textframe for image? what are the alternatives?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to select a specific color from within the image, and change all similar colors within that image to a different color. In other words, after using the Color Picker Tool to select a color from the image, I want to take the selected color (and everything in the image that is equal to or similar in color), and change them all to a different color.
I tried using the Path's Tool to create an outline in the image, and changing colors that way, but it changes all the other colors in the selection I don't want to change. I just want to change all colors in the image/selection that are equal to or similar to the selected color. How do I do this?
I have a logo with green color background.
I want to replace the background color with image as a background.
How can i do that?
Is it required any photoshop plugins to do that?

Large PS file (CS6 and CC) half a dozen texture layers using low res images. Several have blend modes, transparency and even masks. I now have the same images in high res. I want to replace just the image, but not lose my blend/transparency, or masks.
Â
Do I bring in the high res layer, copy the mask over etc? Then delete the original?
I would like to replace a range of colors with a single color in an image.
I know there is the replace color adjustment, but this replaces a single color e.g. 190,190,190 with another color e.g. 200, 200, 200. I would like to replace a range of colors e.g. from 185 to 195 with 200, 200, 200.
I want to replace green background in the top image to darker and lighter pink stripes to match the color of the website.
I've been going in the direction of:
1) Select color range (Pick green and just + the other shades of green to it)
2) Create Clipping mask from the Selection (I actually have all the green backround on white and nothing else on the screen).
i have a csv file that has 6 columns, PNEZD and a 6th column which is my notes..i type a star in the data collector after my code, make my note, and then find/replace after i export it and replace star with a column..that gives the desired 6th column in excel that my boss wants....problem is he also wants to see that next to the Full Description in Civil 3d 2012...i tried adding a Point File Format with a 6th Column, User Defined, String for type...named the column Notes...but if i go to edit the point there is no 6th column in the Tool Palette.

I need to edit a GIF image file. I have it loaded and converted to RGB. I cannot find anything on any menu about edit a GIF file. It is basically a horizontal rectangle with text on the left and a color on the right, and I just need to replace the text and change the font, without disturbing anything else. It needs to "fit" back into a webpage afterwards. As far as I can see, there is only one layer, if that makes any difference.
I've written a script to allow you to select an image to replace any number of selected files. Each file starts out as an embeded image with a .note to determine where the basis of alignment for the new file should be (i.e. "top," "bottom," "left," "right"). You'll find the code below:
Â
#target illustrator
Â
if (app.documents.length > 0) {
   var docRef=app.activeDocument;
   var docSelection = docRef.selection;
   // ** Get new file
  Â
[Code]...
Â
For some reason, the ".note" added at the end of the script gets erased once the script is complete. I can even get it to confirm that it applied the note to the image, but once it's complete, it's gone.Â
I need to replace a common image on every page of a 32pp document. The reason being the original one has no bleed on. I have retouched the image to include bleed, but how do I replace or re-link the new one?
There is no links showing up in my links dialog docker at all..?
how to process a batch of similar photos with just a few mouse clicks? mainly, "crop", exposure, sharpening....mostly telephoto shots of surfers, where I have the surfer in center, but too far away (crop)....low contrast shots during fog or evening hours (contrast) and other functions on similarly exposed shots....sometimes up to several hundred (3fps motor drive) * my m.o., is to fill up the memory card approx 300 shots...then come home and process each file (the good ones) the files come into my mac mini into "iphotos".can I make them come into "bridge" PS cs4??

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhat's a good way to refine a selection when it's a similar color to the background? I have a photo of a dark skinned, black haired person in a white hoodie against an off-white background. I got a pretty good overall  selection with the Quick Selection Tool; then I went to Refine Edge.That worked good on his hair, but it made the edge of the white hoodie blotchy, as if it had worn part of it away.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHow do you select an object with a complicated background. For instance if I want to select a pine tree in forest and the tree is in the foregrond and there are trees of the same color in the background, I have found it hard to select because of the similar colors...all of the tutorials I have seen all have a single color back ground ie a girl with hair and doing a refind edge is pretty straight forward....but how do you do that with a busy background..(for instance ) I want to select a pine tree with all of it componets and plant it in the middle of the desert.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI asked this in the Elements forum with no resoultion. If it can be done I may have to go out and buy the full photoshop. Background:I have a group of photos that are very similar. They are posed graduation photos where the camera and background do not move. Only the subject , who wear very similar robes, changes. The exposure of my D-70 with a bounced flash wound up being eratic with some good subject expressions being captured under existing light conditions and dramatically underexposed because the flash didn't fire (took the pixs too fast and the flash didn't recharge fast enough). The question: Is there a way in photoshop to take a group of very similar photos that vary in exposure, color tone, etc.,then select one master photo from the group that has the exposure, color tone, etc. that I want,and then batch process all the photographs so that all of the photos are changed to match the exposure, color tone, etc. of the master photo I picked??? Another way of saying it, How do I make the common background of each photos above identical in one step (or as few as I can)?

Basically I have 3 digital photos that are part of a panorama. After I load them into PS, there is a slight color imbalance between each of them, eg the sky in one is a bit more yellow looking than one of the others. So the question is, is there an easy way to select a photo and "color balance" it to match another, similar, image?
I'm using PS v7. I've heard that CS has Image-Adjustments-Match Color.
I'm need a Gradient Map tool. If you're in Photoshop Elements 9, click on Filter - Adjustments - Gradient Map.
That's the tool I'm looking for. I downloaded a few plugins for Paint but one was too old and didn't work and the other one just did an overlay.
I use this tool a lot and really can't make the switch without it. Is there an updated plugin that I couldn't find? Is it built in and I'm not seeing it?
