I am trying to open a photo in camera raw and the image always has a lot of red and blue in the picture? What can I do to avoid this. When I first started learning photoshop this did not happen?

I want to use the patch tool but when a select a section of the photo and use it to patch the patch is partly transparent, you can still see white through the patch. I don't have transparent selected so I don't know why this is happening?

The biggest problem is how to change the color the sash is partially covered with the girl's hair.
After making a cutout in the cutout-lab/preview/ok, returning to the main workspace area, there remain, unlike in the instruction DVD, 2 blue dotted lines around the object: one from the rectangular box and one showing the cutout outline. As a result I can't make a clip mask from the object transparency box.
Has it to do with settings not mentioned in the dvd? The 'remove mask button' is inactive. I just picked some bitmaps from the internet and tried to make them into one.
When you want to use skew on grayscale element you should be prepared for blue edges.
How blue can be similar to gray?

I've seen (some times ago) a presentation where the editor was initially working in Camera Raw with a new (original) foto. During the modifications in Photoshop he went back to Camera Raw, edited some parameter settings, went back to Photoshop. He made this switching between Photoshop and Camera Raw a few times.
Which command has been used for this switch?
Using Photoshop CS5.5 I am at a loss to find the means to discard all edits in Camera Raw and revert back to the original photo.

When I go to File, Open and locate my photo, it only opens the picture to a small thumbnail in the layers box. How do I get the photo to open to the main area? How do I enlarge the tiny thumbnail? There is no image in the main work area. It seems so simple, but I just can't figure it out. I've tried lightening the background and adding a layer. Please help with this most basic question!

Then when I send it to the laser, it is not there!( laser engraver or the printer). I just want the text to be normal, like it was 2 days ago! View 13 Replies View RelatedWhen I double-click a file it will open the file in CS6 version 13.0.1, but then after a while double-clicking will no longer open jpeg or raw files. I can open the same files by going to File > Open in the Menu Bar.
When I am simply opening downloaded files from my camera, I can open 200-300 by double-clicking with no problems. However, at times when I am working on an image, it is not long before I can't open a file by double-clicking. It will open a blank Photoshop window, but without any Toolbar or Menu Bars.
This happens on a regular basis. Sometimes, also, Photoshop is slow to Quit, for no apparent reason.
I have PSE7 from before and recently purchased CS6. I want to keep using PSE as an organizer and edit in CS6. When opening a raw file (CR2) from the organizer to CS using Ctrl-h the image opens directly in CS without opening in Camera Raw first. If I open an image directly in CS it goes through CR first. How do I send the image directly to Camera Raw and then to CS from the organizer? I am running on Windows 7 64 bit. The Camera Raw for PSE7 if 5.6 and 7.3 for CS6.
