Photoshop :: Multiple Use Of Camera Raw Within Same Session Of Photo
Nov 22, 2012
I've seen (some times ago) a presentation where the editor was initially working in Camera Raw with a new (original) foto. During the modifications in Photoshop he went back to Camera Raw, edited some parameter settings, went back to Photoshop. He made this switching between Photoshop and Camera Raw a few times.
I am running AutoCAD 2006 LT and AutoCAD 2010 on one computer and have the SDI set correctly. When I open multiple files from Windows Explorer, it opens multiple AutoCAD sessions. How to avoid this from happening?
I recently added 2 monitors to my set up to bring my total to 3. I am trying to figure out the best way to work on one drawing, with 2 differant veiws on each of the 2 main screens.
I would like my main screen to have the plan view and the second monitor to have an isometric veiw (or whatever I need at the time) of the same drawing. Is there a way to have the same drawing opened up in another window, in one session of Autocad 2013. One on the main screen and one on the secondary.
I am trying to open a photo in camera raw and the image always has a lot of red and blue in the picture? What can I do to avoid this. When I first started learning photoshop this did not happen?
I don't seem to be able to use my Photoshop CS5 and Camera RAW to process my in-camera multiple exposure RAW photos. When imported, they have a reddish cast to them. This is not happening in other programs nor with regular RAW photos. Only multiple exposures made in my camera.
When I try to open multiple raw photos from cs6 mini bridge, after selecting them, none open up. If I do one it works fine. I also tried the review mode and only one opens.
I have a Nikon D7000, I use Photoshop CS5. I took multiple exposures in-camera in RAW and they appear fine on the back of my camera, and in the finder window on my Mac, but when uploaded and viewed through Bridge and Photoshop the images are monochromatic RED in color. I have contacted Nikon and they say they can not guarantee compatibility with 3rd party software. No amount of editing, that I have found, returns the colors to where they should be (NOT RED).
I have Camera Raw 5.0 through Bridge CS4 and I shoot photos on my Nikon D40X in JPEG. Should I NOT be using Camera Raw to edit my non-RAW photos? Is it degrading my images? I noticed when I did some editing and saved the photo, the new photo size was about 25% of the original JPEG size.
When sending a photo from LR5 to CS5 I get a message saying this version of LR may required the photoshop camera raw plug-in version 8.2 for full compatibility. I don't know what to do?
I take a number of cemetery headstone photos and in trying to keep my shadow off the headstone, I stand to the side and the image usually gets distorted. I have Photoshop Elements 11. I'm sure there is a good way to do it. I tried Filter, Correct Camera Distortion but end up with a worse distortion than when I started.
how do I improve my photo image and make it more square?
i have lightroom v4 last version 64 and photoshop cs6 64 last updates
i would like to send raw file from lightroom to photoshop without converting in psd or tiff but i would like to send from lightoom to photoshop the raw file
in short open the image in camera raw from lightroom
I would like to be able to save my session in Photoshop much like I can with the workspace.
With a session manager, I will be able to save and load all the open canvases in one go.
So, for instance, if I wanted to continue my work next time I open Photoshop, I will be able to load the previous session -- this will open all the canvas windows and their exact placement in the main Photoshop window.
How can I accomplish this? Are the scripts advanced enough to implement new menu's and trigger such actions (maybe I am being too hopeful, here)?
With functionality, an intuitive design, and ease of use being some of the top priorities in applications these days, I am hopeful that Adobe can at least implement this next time around.
Perhaps I am just missing the option? Is such a feature available?
I can open one JPEG at a time, or multiple Raw images in ACR.
Have checked other sources including Barbara Brundage "The Missing Manual" but whilst it does not specifically say you cannot, likewise there is no indication that you can.
I've taken a photo of a display frame, and I need to align it perfectly horizontal in order to not crop off parts of the frame when editing out the background. I know how to move images back and forth with the crop tool, but it's not very precise, and I definitely don't want the frame in the image partly chopped off because I can't get it angled just right.
I'm using 3ds (mental ray) for architectural visualization. I normally have different cameras for exterior and interior renders in one model. Each scene should have its own specific lightning and shadow settings (intensity, shadow position, etc)
Is it possible to have multiple sun positions in the same model which would be connected to each camera?
If not, what would be the best way to achieve various lightning settings? I would like to avoid having one file for each camera position.
I was working on a project and all of a sudden everything with in PS got notably slow and choppy. This first happened while using the selection tool (polygonal lasso), which was lagging behind and making late clicks. I finished my selection and noticed the cursor in general was slow choppy still. I saved my work, shutdown PS, then reboot my computer. I reopen my project, the cursor lag seemed to be gone but the brush tool was not working correctly. Instead of making smooth burst of color with one click (gradient like), it now looks like 256 4 bit (old nintendo style) bursts. Or you could say it looks like multiple rings getting smaller and darker, like counting the rings of a tree trunk.
This happens instantly after opening a file of any type and size. I work with CMYK and 300dpi and while working on a page, this just happened out of nowhere.
I have an ASUS G74SX, i7 CPU, GeForce 560M w/2 gig RAM, 8 gig of SDRAM, 3 each SSD 300gigs (this is basically a 6 month old gaming laptop and has been working fine with PS until now). I have my PS scratch disk set to my F drive for all art and there is nothing more than 2 gigs of space being used right now. My RAM used in PS prefs was maxed at 5205k as suggested by the program.
PS CS6 is fully up to date as well as all drivers for my GPU and the rest of my laptop.
I loaded the photos into Iview Media Pro and forgot to save them as well as not saving to a CD or External hard drive. I cannot retrieve the photo on the cards. Is there any way to improve the quality of thumbnails in Iview to be able to be usable?
I thought that I had saved some photos on my hard drive. I the did load the photos into Iview Media Pro so I do have the thumbnails. Is there anyway to improve the file to a usable size?
Trying to get an 8x10 print from a digital camera photo on a letter size paper. Reguardless of what we do, the print job only comes up to 8x6.5. How do we get an 8x10???
I love CC's multicam feature, but keep having this problem:
In Pluraleyes, I would lay all my Cam 1 material on video track 1 (multiple clips), then Cam 2 on video track 2 (multiple clips), add my audio, and create a multicam track that kept all Cam 1 clips on track 1 and all Cam 2 clips on track 2.
in Premiere Pro CC, multicam creation can only be exectued via the browser, not the timeline. So Premiere syncs everything up and throws each clip onto the next video track up, leaving you with a mountain of timeline media that reads out tiny and jumps all over the place when viewed in the multicam monitor (see picture).
What I'm after:
- the ability to create multicam sequences based on the timeline (lay out all clips from each cam on whichever video track I want, select all, then choose "create multicam sequence") so that the end result isn't 20 video tracks I have to manually collapse into 2 (time waster).
I use LightRoom 3 to simultaneously modify multiple photos. For example, I will use the "grid" vew to show hundreds of photos. I will then select the ones that I want to modify (i.e. maybe they are under exposed). I will then adjust the exposure setting to modify all the selected photos. I might then select a different set of photos and change some other parameter.
Is this same functionality available in CS6? I wasn't sure if you could simultaneously modify multiple photos or if it was intended more for one photo at a time.
I'm currently Building a Library Technology Hub that has 3 story atrium. I'm trying to create a 3d camera view that shows the multiple levels that open to the atrium. However, only the 1st floor and mezanine floor (within 1st floor ceiling heights) are in my 3d view. The rendred view shows as if I have a solid ceiling across the entire 1st floor. I am almost positive that this is an issue with my camera settings since my 2nd and 3rd floors are cut around the atrium opening. I have clicked on almost every option in my properties menu and am at a loss!
Just btw, I'm an intermediate level, self-taught revit user (I have used it on a daily basis for about a year now). I'm no guru, but I'm quite savvy on making things work like I want them to.
I have attached a test render of the space. the "ceiling" should be open above my mezanine, and extend to desk at the right and the lounge seating at the left. However, it has rendered as a single plane.
With multiple pictures now being tab'd at the top of the screen, I'm blind to understanding how to get them both visible at the same time. I don't see my minimize window trigger for the photo itself.
I'm trying to edit multiple camera videos on main and overlay tracks switching between them. I cannot seem to be able to leave a gap on the main video track at all whether ripple is on or off. What do I do to leave a gap in the main video track (with the video at that point in the overlay)?
Also I noticed the Track Manager has a greyed drop down to add video tracks. Is there a higher priced version to have more video tracks as opposed to overlay tracks?
Using Inventor 2013. As you know it's impossible to chang iproperties values of the library parts in inventor session (for instance in asm file). The error message comes "readonly".
But when you open iproperties of the file in windows file explorer then it's possible to change iproperties values while library parts open in inventor session in asm.
Normally I copy the file location path of the library part and open this path in the windows file explorer and find the part and right-click on file and change iproperties values which I want to change stock number, part description etc...
Is it possible to create VBA code or API which can open iproperties box of the selectet part outside of the inventor session in windows file explorer?
