The biggest problem is how to change the color the sash is partially covered with the girl's hair.

Xara :: How To Quickly Change Color To Blue
Jan 21, 2012I would like to ask some very simple, but not sure that there is some keyboard combination in Xara Designer Pro.
Basically I have to type a long text, some words with normal default black color characters, and some with blue.
My target would be with some keyboard shortcut maybe quickly change the color to blue and after black and so on, do you have some proposal to this?
Currently I am just typing everything in black and after one by one selecting the words and applying Set Fill Color to make them blue.

Jul 3, 2013I have been trying to use the color select/erase feature in Xara P&GD9 (version 9.1.1.28178) on my Windows 7 64-bit computer. I can use this feature to change the appearance of the sky in a photo -- for example, to change it from something drab to an attractive blue. I've now tried to do this in several versions of two photos, and I've been completely unsuccessful. Following the instructions, I first used the color select/erase tool and clicked on the sky in several places to erase it. I then clicked on the Make Soft Mask button and saw that everything but the sky was now pink. I then went to Enhance in the Photo Tool and selected the Hue control. But no matter where or how much I changed the Hue and/or the strength, nothing happened. I was left with the same drab sky I started with. I've tried to show what I've done with four thumbnails.

Feb 5, 2013I am working on drawings in which some of the text is in yellow which is great on a black background. After printing the yellow becomes very hard to see on white paper. I know I know I could change the color of the layer before plotting but I was hoping for a seamless way of doing it. Feb 28, 2013I use Xara Photo and Graphic Designer 2013's Color Select feature to remove the background (white) of a picture and extract the main image so I can superimpose it to another picture.
(Picture enclosed, color select is perfect because it removes all the white background around and inside the screen like image I need to isolate)
I applied the Color Select, it removes the background, isolates the image but that's where the problem starts.
The isolated image will not be save or can not be exported and causes an error if it is cut, saved or unclipped from the group.
Xara :: Black And White From Color Photo?
Aug 4, 2013I took this photo which was OK but not great, and set the saturation to -100, and worked on the contrast and levels until the sky was very dark. Then I cloned the photo and applied a Linear, Stained Glass transparency to make the sky even darker.
The effect in black and white is so much more dramatic than it is in color.
I made it into my Facebook cover photo.
The font is Aire Bold Italic Pro
