I took a picture. How can I "paint" her color to blonde?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to change hair color on a picture (from black to blonde). Those pictures are textures for a game so it is pretty clean and easy to edit usually
I have another pictures with the blonde hairs tones and colors in it.
So i figured i had to save color range or something on the blonde hair picture to apply it on the black hair picture, right ?
how to change hair color and select it to modify it. I've tried using magic wand laso tools.. I know that if you make a selection you can modify color in hue/saturation but I can't seem to figure out a easy way to select and work just with the hair and coloring just hair. working mac pscs2.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to change a model's hair color in a photo from blonde to dark brunette (need one dark brown, and one black hair).
I can change the hair color to every other color and lighten and darken it using hue/saturation, burn & sponge tool, brush with overlays, but cannot seem to successfully get a realistic brunette. At the moment all I get is a black/white effect or a deep red.
Either I am not getting the combination and settings of these effects correct or I am not using the proper Photoshop tools. I can't imagine that this should be difficult.
Perhaps the photo is not bet suited to this? (can be viewed on )

How to remove or change the color of hair in a beard?
View 1 Replies View Relatedtrying every layer mask combo I could think of to create a realistic shade of white hair that doesn't look like I just used the brush tool to make it.
I've tried lighting up the shadows with the curves option then using the selective color option. But all that does is make a very fake looking film to put over the eyebrows (ya it's eyebrows I'm working on, I'm trying to get them to match a white wig the subject is wearing.)
I've also tried using the solid color option, and a color overlay and that just came out weird.
Has anyone ever turned pitch black hair to white and had it still look like hair?
id like to change the background into color blue...
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm modeling in mudbox 2012 and extracting my normal maps for 3ds max and my diffuse and bump as a PNG.In 3ds 2012 the normal map seems to be changing to the overal brightness of the diffuse, changing it noticeably darker.
It's been ruled out that its not a bump map that's causing so its definitely the normal map.
The background behind my photo is bright blue. I want black. I used the bottom square and switched it to black and the background did not change.

Basically I have to type a long text, some words with normal default black color characters, and some with blue.
My target would be with some keyboard shortcut maybe quickly change the color to blue and after black and so on, do you have some proposal to this?
Currently I am just typing everything in black and after one by one selecting the words and applying Set Fill Color to make them blue.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am working on drawings in which some of the text is in yellow which is great on a black background. After printing the yellow becomes very hard to see on white paper. I know I know I could change the color of the layer before plotting but I was hoping for a seamless way of doing it. Is there a way to display colors in yellow and plot in blue similar to white/black?

I was wondering how you can change someones hair color, and make it look natural. Everytime I try... well lets not go there. Anyone have an example, or a good tutorial on how it is done?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have CS6. Having trouble removing a background where part of the backgrouond is almost exactly the same color as the subject's hair. I've tried the refine edge tool- I get yucky greyed areas in the one spot where the hair & the similar background color meet. I have tried to use channels, but I am not very skilled in that yet.
View 21 Replies View RelatedI'm using Elements 11. I imported some photos to my catalog and the program asked if I wanted to import the tags as well. Of course I did and so did the program. However, now when I want to find pictures of a specific person that I tagged in people taggs in elements are separate from the photos in the normal tag with the same name of that person. So I have to review both places to find all of the pictures for that person.
Is there any way to change a normal tag to a "peoples tag" so that I will find all images of that person when I want to find it?
In my opinion it is a little strange that there is now the distinction between two different tag types. If I save the tags to the file via "Save Metadata to Files" then the peoples tags are written in the normal tags section in the files since Windows seems to know only one tag system. So when I import the files again in Elements then naturally the peoples tags are converted to normal tags because it could not distinguish which is which.
Is there a better solution? Can I just combine the normal tags with people tags? It's far too hard to retag all of the photos and the automatic face recognition doesn't work very well in many cases so a lot of work is necessary.
For CS6:
I've had this problem before... where I go to hit a keyboard shortcut and end up in some sort of gray scale mode. I'm not actually in "gray scale" though; I'm still in RGB mode but the image title bar says "blue/8".
I've tried everything I can think of, but now many of my options have been grayed out and I can't select certain menu functions. There was an easy fix with CS4 I found online, but I don't remember what it was and this seems different.

I'd like to change the white background to sky blue, to the left of the woodpecker in this photo I took.
I've been trying selections and then refining the edge with various settings. I've tried a selection with the barely recognizable branch on the bottom left and without the branch in the selection.
Once I have a selection with a refined edge I've been using Image>Adjustments>Saturation to change the color with the Colorize option checked on.
I can't get the white background to light blue without making it obvious. The blue sky and edge of the tree just doesn't look right (I forgot the term).
Would anyone have some advice on how to change the white background to a natural blue sky color and have it merge well with the bark edge? Removing the left bottom branch from the photo would be fine.
I attached the full photo scaled down to 500x375 and a larger section of the left hand side.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to solve this problem for the past months. Everytime I needed our company logo, but everytime it failed and I setteled for the low resolution blue logo I allready have.
So far I tried combinations of the following:
changing .tiff into .PSD
grayscale into CMYK
changing hue and saturation
1 goto Layer - New adjustment layer - Curves - change the blend mode to "Screen"
2 goto Layer - New adjustment layer - Curves - change the blend mode to "Multiply"
this all results in a slightly lighter or darker picture, but no color..
Heinthis is the actual image
The company I work for hired someone to take "professional" photos and the thumbnail preview is the normal color but when you view the actual image the colors are completely wrong. The background is supposed to be white.
