I have this image here and as you can see, I took a screenshot but all I want from this is the blue effect and none of the background contents. It's a single layer. Is there any way I can remove the back?
View 10 RepliesOk so i have this image (Attached) im trying to remove the blue rectangle and the white rectangle leaving the blue swirl on the white back ground, iv tried using content aware but it comes out really bad, maybe im doing it wrong will some one be able to look at this for me, maybe it came out wrong because i have the blue swirl and content aware doesn't work correctly with it .

I read the post from January of someone having the same problem and I tried to follow each of those directions but have been unsuccessful. I am more familiar with Paint Shop Pro but can't for the life of me figure out how to cut my photo out of the picture.

I found a bunch of cropping tutorials on YouTube, but they used a lot of advanced (to me) terms and seemed focused on difficult situations.
I have 30-40 photos that are of wooden figures cut on a band saw. They do not have highly irregular edges like hair or fuzz.
I am hoping for a tool that can automatically follow the outline and then let me make any minor adjustments that may be needed.
I have a scanned guest pass that is 2 color. The pass is in jpg format. although i can put it in any format necessary.
I need to change the "800" numbers on the pass. To the new number.
is it possible to remove them( numbers) and replace them, while keeping the background of the pass the same. if that make sense. I have Corel 6.
What is the best way to take the background out of a photo or a portrait and keep the photo? Also would like to be able to keep the edge nice so when am laser engraving it will look nice, and will be able to engrave well.

How do I eliminate the blue tint -- or better yet, just delete the white background entirely? I'd love to have just my wife's signature on a transparent background.
I have used gimp for years, and never tried to remove a blue cast from an image. I have several images I have shot over the years, of winter scenes, now I want to see them in "normal" colors. I tried a couple of plugins and gimp operations, but I have no real good results.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using Lightroom 4.3 on Windows 7 pc. I have a collection with approximately 650 images. I was working in the collection and had all the images selected. Somehow I inadvertently must have hit a keyboard shortcut that effected all the images. All of the images are negatively effected and they now look terrible. When I go to the History Panel, all the images have "blue filter" as their most recent entry. If I select one image and go back to the step before the "blue filter" everything looks fine again. My problem is I have this effect in 650 images. When I try and do the change in one image and then synch to the rest, I don't know what box to check to remove this "blue filter" that has been added to all the images. I know I can do them one by one, but with 650 images, it's a long and tedious process. Any way I can remove the "blue filter" from multiple images in a collection?
