Some tools I always use, some every once in a while, and some I never touch. Is there a way for me to rearrange the tools in the Tool Panel so my most used tools can sit next to each other? It would be nice to get rid of some of the tools too. I can always set a Hotkey if I really wanted to access them later.
View 3 RepliesI have PSE 10. I'm trying to change a layout to customize my output. I'm the admin but I get the following error when trying to save a change. "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact your admin for permission". I checked the file properties and the only box not checked is the special permissions which is grayed out. I see info saying this is how you modify the layouts but not sure why mine isn't accepting.

I wanted to choose the same printer for many layouts but I found out that I need to modify them one by one.
Some of these layouts have “Adobe pdf converter”, others have the “DWG TO PDF.pc3”. What I need is to set the printer “DWG TO PDF.pc3” for all the layouts in one go.

There is a default viewport in Layout1. How can I reposition and resize it on the paper? It would also be sufficient if I could delete it--how do I do that? (then I could create one that fit my needs)
Briefly, what are disadvantages of not using Model view?

I can't seem to get the 4 green dots.
For some reason, the top of my tool pallet/panel is now stuck behind the menu bar at the top of the screen. I can't access the top several tools or the "grab" strip at the top of the panel that allows me to re-position the panel. I've tried a number of workspace commands, closed and opened the tools panel, and restarted PS, but the panel stays put. how to reset the panels or otherwise get a handle on this thing?

I have been using X3 for a long time and have had a way of printing some badges whereby I went to ‘Print’ and then to ‘Preview’ and then clicked on the ‘Imposition layout tool’ icon and then set the page to however many I wanted on a page as in the picture. I need to print 4x1. However, in X6, it doesn't give me that option. I go to ‘Print’ and click on the ‘Layout’ tab and then there are some defaults in the ‘Imposition layout’ drop down menu as in the second picture but there’s no option for 4x1.
I have an alingment and profile, but I cannot use the layout tool to create a curve (vertical)...what I am doing wrong. I select the profile in profile view and right click to select "edit profile geometry" and get the layout tool bar but cannot select to draw a curve...

I use a customized layout/workspace based off the original/classic layout option. When I change layout to drafting/annotation, toolbars for that layout appear, but when I switch back to my saved layout, all tool bars are still gone and I have to go through whole process of adding the ones I want again.

To blank a shape u use '/' ( English Version )

I can't use '/' cause i have to press shift+/ ... I dont know its not working.Can i change the "Shortcut-Layout" and use the German layout ?
I have CS5. The bugs and broken features in AICS6, make it unusable in my workflow.
I am specifically concerned about the inability to drag global color swatches from the color panel to Gradient stops in the Gradient Panel. I use this method to update a gradient color because I find it MUCH faster than option-dragging to duplicate a stop color, then deleting the unused stop. Since I do this constantly, I find using CS6 very tedious.
