Photoshop :: Modify Tool Panel Layout
Nov 6, 2013Some tools I always use, some every once in a while, and some I never touch. Is there a way for me to rearrange the tools in the Tool Panel so my most used tools can sit next to each other? It would be nice to get rid of some of the tools too. I can always set a Hotkey if I really wanted to access them later.

Mar 2, 2013If you could modify attached background image so it would be more suitable for a repeating background image for a website? I have been already trying to do that by myself for hours (duplicating layers, flipping them horizontally/vertically, offset...), but how to realize that well. The main problem is that gradients and textures on borders are way to rough and it is really noticeable when so small background gets repeated for many times. On top of that, corners have dark shadows which make everything even more noticeable. Please note that attached image should be resized for about 3 times, I'm just posting original image which I have to work with.

Photoshop :: How To Use Photomerge Tool On Raw Image
Jun 7, 2012I'd like to stitch together a panorama out of raw images in Photoshop CS5. The problem is, that I don't want the result to be a 8-bit jpeg. I want to have a raw image that keeps all the information the original raw images had so that I can modify contrast, white balance etc. later on.I can't figure out, how to use the Photomerge tool on raw images and have a 16-bit result. It seems to me like Photoshop automatically compresses the result into 8-bit and erases valuable information irreversibly.
I use Photoshop CS5 Extended (from the CS5 Production Premium) on a Windows 7 64-bit Desktop.

Aug 9, 2012Within my image I am using the Pen tool to select an area that I want to copy. When I define the area with anchor points, close it then select Make Selection, New Selection, it puts the marching ants around not only the area I selected but also the entire image (see below).

Jul 6, 2013So currently I have an image that I'll be using as my background for a wallpaper, however the dimensions of the image is 2100x1184, and the final dimensions of my wallpaper will be 2880x1800. Therefore I need to re-scale the image so that it's bigger. Now knowing that I can't do that without loss of quality, I've decided to instead "add" stuff to the image such that it looks larger. Eg. expanding the sky, adding additional buildings.
I've tried using the patch tool, but it doesn't let me add to the space outside of the image (my canvas is 2880x1800, and the empty space is transparent).
I'm wondering, is there any tools/techniques for accomplishing what I'm trying to do? Or even better, is there another method of enlarging the image without loss of quality?

Photoshop :: CS5 Image Resize With Move Tool
May 8, 2012Here's my problem
When I try to resize an layer using the move tool (as opposed to the Free Transform tool), while I'm in the process of moving the scaling handles, the bounding box reflects my movement but the layer preview stays at it's original size. When I stop moving the handles there is a few seconds delay and then the new scale size shows up. If I try to move the handles again, without commiting to the transform, the layer preview reverts back to it's original size until I've finished moving the handles.
I didn't have this problem with CS4 and I've only recently upgraded. I work around this problem by using the proper Free Transform tool (ctrl+t) but it would be nice to know why the hell this happens. It seems to me to be more of a graphical glitch than a software preference but I thought I'd check just-in-case.

Feb 5, 2008i have photoshop cs2, and everything was fine until last night when mysteriously the sizing options for my text tool got seriously knocked out of whack. any normal-sized font pt just doesn't show up at all (it's so small you can't see anything). 1296 pt (the largest you can go) shows up, but still smaller than any normal 8-72 pt.
