View 4 Replies View RelatedI was hoping someone else might remember the URL of a site I'm looking for. It's a user group site for photoshop retouching and restoration. It posts photos that need work and anyone interested in trying their hand works to restore it and then reposts their version. The users then critique each poster's attempt.
View 2 Replies View RelatedPhtoshop CS3 had a function, filter, script or something that produced an HTML page or code that allowed you to post the image, view it in a browser and you could, "click to view larger image" but photoshop produced some extra code that would also allow you to zoom in on this image.

I found Uncoated Fogra29 the best profile to use with my Epson Inkjet Printer. (better than the default Epson Profile)

View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently, I have needed to convert my CR2 or DNG files to CMYK profile for a printer. It is my understanding that PS Elements (any version) does not support CMYK profiles. I am an avid amateur I think I need to change from Photoshop Elements to CC or PSCS. What would be the most cost effective way to accomplish this goal?

View 20 Replies View RelatedI created a file in Ps CS5 from three cropped photos taken with my Nikon D700 and processed in NX2. I brought them in from Br in layers an created a new untitled canvas of 16 x 20 and moved them in position and then tried a lot of empty space. The 6 meg JPEG looks pretty good.
Â
I printed it out on my printer and it centers on an 8.5 x 11 just fine but the problem is when I upload it to Costco and look at a 12 x 16 it crops 1/3 of the picture out and the same for a 16 x 20 and even a 20 x 30 for crying out loud. Is it an interpolation problem even though it was a large file?

View 6 Replies View RelatedWithin Lightroom 5, I set up a print template for a new Canon ix6550 printer and used it for some months. I happily printed around 40 images.
Â
I sold a few prints, and needed to print identical copies. Up until a few weeks ago, all worked fine.
Â
Then, a few weeks ago, I tried to re-print 2 copies of a single image. The first copy printed OK (it looked like the original), I pressed the 'Print' button once more and the second print came out 'trashed' with extreme increases in saturation and contrast plus a decreased exposure.
Â
I tried altering all sorts of things and printing test strips, but could not get a viable print.
Â
I did not save any changes to the template or to the development settings of the images.
Â
A few days later, I tried again. Without changing anything, the first test strip looked OK, so I went on to successfully print two A4 prints, then the third and all subsequent attempts to print resulted in trashed prints as described above.
Â
Since then, I have determined that if I allow the printer to manage the colours, the test strips look fine. I don't know if I would see a difference on the full sized prints.
Â
So I thought maybe the profile is corrupt? So I downloaded the drivers again from Canon and re-installed - no difference.(Although I do not know enough to locate and delete the originals first.)Should I let the printer manage colours? Will it matter?
How to upload a custom printer profile into Lightroom 3?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWere need to invest in an archival printer. We need to be able to print archival prints and also strip prints. Example size would be 10X30. Nothing over an 11X14 size on standard sizes. So any recommendations? I was looking at the Epson r2400 but wasn’t to sure on just how long of a print it can print.

I want to make same effect as on this photo with buildings in background.
I can make it with GIMP black/white, but how can i make it yellow???
Using Lightrooms printmodule with this printer is a big problem for me. Using Cannon Print studio Works, but then you loose a lot of great functionallity in LR print module.
Â
It seems that when I make a preset or set up printer with correct ICC profile the canon printer driver automatically resets to its own default.
It looks like a print driver in the background resets everything i do. Very confusing and Canon support points to adobe.
Â
My setup:
Macpro with OSX 10.9.2 (latest version)
Lightroom 5.3 (creative cloud member, always latest version)
Canon Pixma pro-100 (bought new april 2014)

I have looked several places on internett and it looks that there are a lot people having similar problems.
softproofing. I apply a color profile appropriate to my printer/ink/paper, and then I can see what colours are in/out of gamut, and won't print as I expect. But, when I click Soft Proofing, the image takes on a less saturated look, however if I select SRGB as a profile it looks normal. That is I believe because sRGB is the profile I have been using anyway. What I don't understand is why the whole image changes. I assume there is more to it than just colours in and out of Gamut.
I do so LR4 asks if I want a proof copy, which is fine and I understand why. When I make a proof copy though, all the adjustments are greyed out so I cannot do anything.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having real difficulties getting my drawing borders to work between Inventor and AutoCAD. I am using Product Design Suite 2012.
I have created a drawing border using Inventor, which is the template for any drawings I produce. I often export the Inventor drawings into AutoCAD 2007 dwg's to send to customers. However, it seems all the text goes up the creek after the export...
When I open the exported AutoCAD drawing, first I explode the drawing border. Then, if I scale the border from within AutoCAD, none of the text wants to scale up. - I've attached the border. I've tried several different ways to fix it using text styles, heights (setting to 0) etc and still no luck!
How to fix the text scaling?!
I get a slight difference in color in my prints my when I use LR prifile vs Canon printer managed. The Canon is much truer to what I see on both monitors which, btw, are calibrated. LR throws in a slight magenta cast. Is there a way to correct this?

Â
Facts:
Â
I shoot in RAW in manual mode
I am using sRGB when I do my post processing
I export to jpg for printing
I used the costco LR5 plugin from Alloyphoto to upload to Costco
I have installed the printer profiles from drycreek for the specific location/printer and have chosen the correct profile as I export
I made sure that I chose to have Costco NOT autocorrect the color
Even when I use LR5's soft proofing, I get the same result on my monitor
I checked the print I got back and it says that they did NOT autocorrect (taken with a grain of salt)
The machine they are using is a Noritsu QSS-A, so I know my profile is correct
I have attached a screen shot of what I am seeing.
Â
Why am I seeing this on my soft proofing as well as my prints?
I want to print multiple documents with a duplex printer, so I need to set the order in which the documents are sent to the printer. In the Print dialog box, when I select "Documents" in the "Print range", I can select the documents to print, but I cannot set the order in which they're printed. I appears that the order is in reverse alphabetical (how logical!). As far as I can tell, the only way to determine the order is to rename the files (using Save As). Interestingly, if I "Save As" a pdf or "Publish to PDF", the documents are in the order in which they were loaded or created.
If you're going to offer the ability to print or export multiple documents as a single file, it seems that there should be some way to order the documents first.
I have an Epson Artisan 725 AiO printer. I have been trying to acquire an image from the scanner on this machine. It is a TWAIN scanner. When I try to select the source, the TWAIN option is grayed-out and will not allow to be selected. My question is: Why is this option grayed-out. Does Corel X6 64 bit support TWAIN scanners?Â
View 6 Replies View RelatedHow to make the printer profiles made by the COLOR MUNKI PHOTO work in PSPX4?
I have tried a lot of different settings in the Color Management of PSP X4, in the Color Management of Windows (Win 7), and in the Printer Driver (Epson Stylus NX300), all with no success.
I also have problems when trying to SOFT PROOF these profiles in PSPX4: what I get is an unusable image covered with a deep fog, an image that is far from what is printed. And I know these printer profiles are good because they work correctly in Photoshop Elements 10.
I can't print a photo because the ICC profile is not installed. What do I do?

I can only run a "clean" install from my OEM disk which means reloading all applications. I was wondering if I should give up and install Windows 7.
What has been your experience with Windows 7/ Did you do a "clean" install or just the update.
