Photoshop Elements :: Cannot Print With E11 - ICC Profile Is Invalid
Jan 20, 2014I have Elements 11 and just created a photo album, went to print it and it either comes up with:- Tere was an error opening your printer, Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any document. or if I get the printer ialogue box to open, then press print it comes up with Could not complete your request because the ICC profile is invalid.
I tried removing Elements from my pc and re-installing it incase I had done something to cause the problem, but makes no difference.

I have tried several services and can't fine one that will allow me to upload my files in the proper way. The services don't allow me the creativity that I bought the PSElements for. Jun 28, 2013I am trying to print a photo on my Canon MX870 that has been edited (cropped and a few slight lighting changes) in Elements 9 , the colours look good on the screen but when I print it looks different, . I have the colour settings from the Edit menu set to "always optimize for printing". The file information shows the camera data as colour space sRGB.
I am using canon inks (all full) and canon matte photo paper and I selected the matte photo paper on the paper type in printer settings.
I have printed good photos before on this printer (I think using photo gallery) but was not using photoshop elements at the time. Does it make any difference if the photo is saved as a jpeg file or a pse file?
Lightroom :: Installed Bad ICM Profile And Made Printing Worse Instead Of Better
Dec 16, 2012I installed an ICM profile from Red River paper in attempt to improve printing from LR by allowing LR to manage colors. Probably should not have done this because I am using Canon s9000 printer and Canon paper but I could not find Canon profiles anywhere on internet (for this printer). In any case, end result is horrific but I can't "reset" or uninstall.
Do I need to reinstall LR and photoshop to fix this? More likely this is now somewhere in Windows but I have already tried to delete everywhere I could find.
