I created a photobook in photoshop elements 9 and selected "print locally". Now I want to send it to a commercial printer and can't figure out how to do so. I have checked with both Shutterfly and Costco, and they want each page sent as a separate picture.... How do I do that?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do I go about ordering a photo book from any of the on line services when the program will only save my created book in the pse file format and none of the services recognize that format. I have tried several services and can't fine one that will allow me to upload my files in the proper way. The services don't allow me the creativity that I bought the PSElements for. Since losing Kodak I am stuck. Will Elements 11 solve this problem? I would rather not have to relearn the whole program again at this time.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to print a photo on my Canon MX870 that has been edited (cropped and a few slight lighting changes) in Elements 9 , the colours look good on the screen but when I print it looks different, . I have the colour settings from the Edit menu set to "always optimize for printing". The file information shows the camera data as colour space sRGB.
I am using canon inks (all full) and canon matte photo paper and I selected the matte photo paper on the paper type in printer settings.
I have printed good photos before on this printer (I think using photo gallery) but was not using photoshop elements at the time. Does it make any difference if the photo is saved as a jpeg file or a pse file?
A simple question. I'm designing a book in lightroom now and some places I decided to put some text over a photo cell rather than a photo. Will it print the text over the photo cell, or doesn't it print the photo cell?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Elements 11, and my first project is to make a photo book for a recent trip. I have figured out importing the pictures and titles. I want to include a 3000 word story on 3 or 4 pages. I have spent hours trying to do this. I thought I would be able to easily copy and paste from Word but that isn't working for me. I have retyping the whole thing in "Your Text Here". I can't seem to make it work. Pane sizing is an issue. Editing after I have typed several paragraphs. I am about to give up. I can't locate any tutorials etc on how to do this. I bought Elements 11 for Dummys and they might as well have skipped photo books. It was useless.

I am trying to create a photo book for Christmas and have started working with a company other than Shutterfly because of page design offerings ? Can I upload an entire album to that company? I have tried and I am having difficulty. Do these photos need to be uploaded to that company in folders or must I upload individually or can I do the entire album at once? View 2 Replies View RelatedI am wanting to create a book, for home printing, to cataloge the life of my new dog. It could therefore eventually contain a large number of pages and I will need to add pages as time goes by.
But I would also want to print pages as they are designed and add them to the binder on a regular basis. Problem is that I have been completely unable to find any option for printing selected pages.
The programme only seems to be capable of printing the whole project, which means that if I have 50 pages all of them will be printed once I hit the Print button. I have searched all of the print options, page set up otions etc. but cannot find anything that allows me to print, say, pages 25-30.
I am making a photo book using Picabo. I have mostly jpegs and they download fine. I have some raw files aand they are greyed out and I am unable to download them

If I use a smaller text to tell a story on the page (ie: size 9-11), it is so small on my screen that I cannot see what I'm typing. I want to zoom in on certain sections of the page so I can see what I'm typing and make necessary corrections etc. When I try to use the 'set zoom percentage' it zooms in on the center of the page and I cannot figure out how to scroll so that I can see the top or bottom part of the page in the zoomed in state.

Previously when I clicked "write keyword tag and properties info to photo" it seemed to just do that. Since the upgrade to mountain lion when I click 'write keyword tag and properties info to photo" it also changes the date the photo was created to the date the info was written to the photo .
How I can get it to write the keyword info *without* changing the date the photo was created?
