I am working on a photo book and it is not in the recently edited list anymore. I found a folder with all the pages and pictures except for the title page. How is a book identified (extender) so I can find it. It also used to automatically know it was a book and load as such, but all my searches are in vain.

I created a photobook in photoshop elements 9 and selected "print locally". Now I want to send it to a commercial printer and can't figure out how to do so. I have checked with both Shutterfly and Costco, and they want each page sent as a separate picture.... How do I do that?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using Elements 11, and my first project is to make a photo book for a recent trip. I have figured out importing the pictures and titles. I want to include a 3000 word story on 3 or 4 pages. I have spent hours trying to do this. I thought I would be able to easily copy and paste from Word but that isn't working for me. I have retyping the whole thing in "Your Text Here". I can't seem to make it work. Pane sizing is an issue. Editing after I have typed several paragraphs. I am about to give up. I can't locate any tutorials etc on how to do this. I bought Elements 11 for Dummys and they might as well have skipped photo books. It was useless.

I am trying to create a photo book for Christmas and have started working with a company other than Shutterfly because of page design offerings ? Can I upload an entire album to that company? I have tried and I am having difficulty. Do these photos need to be uploaded to that company in folders or must I upload individually or can I do the entire album at once? View 2 Replies View RelatedI am wanting to create a book, for home printing, to cataloge the life of my new dog. It could therefore eventually contain a large number of pages and I will need to add pages as time goes by.
But I would also want to print pages as they are designed and add them to the binder on a regular basis. Problem is that I have been completely unable to find any option for printing selected pages.
The programme only seems to be capable of printing the whole project, which means that if I have 50 pages all of them will be printed once I hit the Print button. I have searched all of the print options, page set up otions etc. but cannot find anything that allows me to print, say, pages 25-30.
I am making a photo book using Picabo. I have mostly jpegs and they download fine. I have some raw files aand they are greyed out and I am unable to download them
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using PSE10 and want to make photo books. I have a book uploaded and have been putting photos in but my problem is the text. If I use a smaller text to tell a story on the page (ie: size 9-11), it is so small on my screen that I cannot see what I'm typing. I want to zoom in on certain sections of the page so I can see what I'm typing and make necessary corrections etc. When I try to use the 'set zoom percentage' it zooms in on the center of the page and I cannot figure out how to scroll so that I can see the top or bottom part of the page in the zoomed in state.

I have tried several services and can't fine one that will allow me to upload my files in the proper way. The services don't allow me the creativity that I bought the PSElements for. I did a test photo and I want to delete it, but the delete button in the file drown down is gray and cannot be used.
I looked in Organizer and it is not there, as I imported it directly from MAC Aperture.
I used to have a DeltaE calculator which I downloaded free from the Internet, but it does not seem to be available any longer.

Needless to say it doesn't get saved in the new watermarked file. I have also watermarked a single photo and set it to be added to all the files i selected, but the only photo that end up with it in the new file is the one i watermarked.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have briefly used 3 versions of Photo Elements (9, 10 and11) and have experienced the same problem in all 3. Scanned images are labeled Image1.jpg, Image2-###.jpg, Image3-###.jpg and Image4-###.jpg. As you noticed, the first scanned image is ALWAYS NAMED IMAGE1.jpg.
Because this is happening on every scan, Elements is giving me the message that the first scanned image in each subsequent scan is already in the catalog (as Image1.jpg). All the remaining images in the scan are sequenced without any problem.
It appears as though Elements places all scanned photos into a temp location under AppData and then enters them into the catalog after the scan is complete. The file names in this temp folder are Image1, Image2, Image3, Image4. Image2-4 have their filenames changed, but Image1 doesn't.
The easiest way I have found to fix this is to rename Image1.jpg after each scan. I have looked around Elements and have no user available procedures to fix this.I am using an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner with Epson Scan software 3.83.
I am running Elements 11.

How can I display the entire 6700 x 768 px photo on the cover of my book?
I'm having a problem with the "Save for Web" function. The Save for Web box opens but when I hit "Save" I get the following message:
"Could not complete this operation. The file was not found"
I've never encountered this problem before after using this feature for hundreds of photos.
I'm using PS 8.0 on a Mac OS X 10.3.9 Powerbook G4
