I've created a collage to place on the front cover of my book. It is a JPG file about 6700 pixels wide and 768 px high. When I drop it onto the front cover, it shows only a small fraction of the photo and there is no way to "shrink" the photo.
How can I display the entire 6700 x 768 px photo on the cover of my book?

I'm currently editing a photo book in the new Book Module in Lightroom 4. I have added some background graphic to the cover of my book and it looks fine in thumbnails. In the preview however the graphic is horizontally mirrored and overlaps with the title. This is the first book I make with Lightroom and I would like to know which rendering I should trust before ordering the book.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI would like to control the actual picture frame size when making a Book in Lightroom 5. Or else know the sizes of the different picture frames provided by choosing the different page layouts. That way I can either change the picture frame dimensions to accomodate each photo or change the image size to fit in the offered picture frame. I find that using the software as is winds up cropping the images in unwanted ways. Modifying the picture frame would be my preferred alternative.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOther than the cover template, there doesn't seem to be any page template that allows you to put type directly over a photo -- which can be a useful graphic technique. I know I could do it in Photoshop, and import it into Lightroom, but that wouldn't allow for easy chages in text type or color, etc. and would be an interruption of the book module's workflow. It would be nice to be able to add a text box to a page. Can it now be done and I just haven't found the way?

In Bridge one has the option to have up to 4 lines of customer-selected information displayed below each thumbnail.

A photo of 50 k is only of marginal interest for limited upload only. A photo of 15 mg is of great interest. The size tells me that it's at least moderately hi res and that there are probably a lot of pixels involved, and a good print can be made for publication or whatever. But I can't see a way to sort by image size. Is there a way? I'd like to separate a photo with a size of 720 X 480 from a photo with a size of 100 X 75.
