View 4 RepliesUsing my Espon R2000 with Photoshop CS5 and Windows 7 (32 bit), I have to re-select the printer every time I print a copy, resetting the paper type, orientation and printer profile.
Sometimes, mostly when I'm only doing my 2nd or 3rd copy, I can just click on the printer properties to make the selections, but most often when I do that I get the error message "because the printer does not exist". I've installed the most recent updates for Photoshop (ver. 12.0.4).
Why can't I print using an HP printer and a mac with Mountain Lion and PSE9
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Lightroom 3.6 and an Epson Stylus Photo R800. This printer is capable of printing very high quality pictures, as I know by using it for almost 5 years. I have bought Lightroom about 6 month ago. I have tried anything I can think off to get those fabulus pictures out of my Epson printer. I alterd color managment settings, changed print resolutions, downloaded new printerdriver, ... Nothing works. Print quality when printing from Lightroom is very poor. Bad colors (dark), stripes over the whole image, it looks like nothing realy. One of the things that I noticed is that the maximum resolution for printing in LR is 720 ppi. My Epson is capable of 1550 ppi. I see a lot of discussion going about print quality with lightroom... I think however this is a more basic problem. My print qualiti is realy very very bad...
Â
Note, When I export a picture to .jpg format (I shoot in RAW only), and print this directly from Windows, I do get the perfect picture a was used to... I cannot believe that Lightroom is unable to do the same.
I cannot print photographic images with my desktop MAC (OS X10.8.4) from Photoshop Elements 9.0 to my new Epson XP-800 printer. Printing is not a problem with Word text or images from iPhoto- it is only with PSE that there is a problem. The problem persists even if I try using a cabled connection rather than WiFi. I have ensured latest software from Epson has been downloaded. This problem did not occur when using the same system with the previous printer (Epson Photo Stylus 1290).
Â
rather than just a workaround of moving the edited PSE image back to iPhoto & printing from there (which admittedly does work but shouldn't be necessary).
I don't understand why Lightroom will not send print commands properly to my Epson Stylus Photo 1400, but all I get is error.
Â
Since the printer works with every other program on my computer, including Elements, it must be a Lightroom problem.
I can't print to my Epson R3000 printer from the Photoshop Elements 10 I have installed on a Mac OS 1.7.5
View 2 Replies View RelatedThese are the options I get for paper size when I try to print from PSE9. I get 4x6 and 5x7 options for print size, just not paper size.Â
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to print borderless the menu reverts to the smaller size. ie when selecting 5x7 it reverts to 4x6. Ditto 8x10 and 11x14 etc. The paper size stays the same, just the print size reverts and the desired size disappears. I contacted Epson twice and both times I was told it is a software issue, not the printer. The same thing happens in Lightroom, but in WEindows Gallery Live the printer works correctly which indicates the driver and printer are working correctly. I am using Windows 7 and had Elements 9, but Elements 10 came bundled with the printer so I upgraded to 10, no improvement.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am unable to link my Epson 3200 photo scanner to PS Elements 11 on my new iMac. I have tried downloading the software from the Epson website, but when I load it the nothing shows up. I moved the the Optional Plug-ins > Import Modules TWAIN plug in to the Plug-ins. That had no affect at Photoshop Elements 11>Support Files>Import.
Â
On my old iMac I could link and download files from the Scanner.
I just upgraded from Photoshop Elements 6 to Elements 11 on a brand new iMac running OS X 10.8.2, but Elements 11 will not recognize my Epson Perfection 4990 PHOTO Scanner as an option to import from when I click on "File" then "Import." Is there a Plug-In that may be missing for this to operate as it used to in Elements 6 running on an older G5 Non-Intel processor? I don't have the new Elements 11 Disk to copy anything from, since I downloaded the program directly from Adobe.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently installed photoshop from a disk, and I opened a new image the first time easily through the organizer, and everything went fine. But now when I click the editor from the home screen the whole application shuts down, and when I click it from the organizer, nothing happens.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am unable to print from Photoshop CS6 to two different Epson printers - an Epson 9800 and an Epson 7880. I have tried to print from three different computers (OS 10.6 and OS 10.8) and have also tried three different USB cables. Each time I get the same results - the computer acts like it sends the data to the printer, but the printer never prints anything. I am not getting any error messages. I am attepting to print a 3960x2160, 720 DPI RGB TIF image. I tried printing from Preview as a test but that didn't work either.
Â
I have tried reinstalling drivers, turning the computer and printers on and off, cleared my caches and repaired permissions, but so far no luck. However there is ONE situation in which I am able to print - if I save the image as PDF and print it from from Acrobat, specifically with "Acrobat Color Management" selected, it WILL print. If I try to print from Acrobat with "Printer Manages Colors" selected, it will not print.
My new MacBookPro using Photoshop CS4 prints just fine to my Epson 2400 and 1900 however when using my new 4900 I click "print" and the printer icon bounces once in the dock and then disappears. The printer then gyrates and makes noise but puts out no image.Â
I can print documents and images from Preview and Pages and the web on the 4900 so I know the printer can print. I have reloaded CS4 several times from my disc and the Epson driver several times to no avail.
The Epson tech guy says what appears obvious, that the printer is working fine but that PS cannot communicate with the 4900.
When I try to print Photoshop shuts down. I have the newest driver from Epson and their customer support said to check with Adobe.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIt does, however, print happily to a USB Epson 2200 plugged into the same machine. All other apps on this Mountain Lion Mac Mini, including CS4 Illustrator, print fine to the 4900. I have tried both a USB and a network connection to the printer with the same result. There is *some* small output to the printer (just a flash on the print monitor), but no output results.Â
View 2 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop will not print on my epson 837 but will print on other printers and other apps can print on this 837.
Â
I do get an error message that I should reset the Printer's color management in the Printer's dialog box, but when I click Print to get to the dialog, it just disappears.
Â
PS - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer on the mac; then again after downloading a fresh driver from epson...though this is unlikely to be the problem since I have now confirmed that every other app prints just fine.
Â
I deleted all of my paper presets and tried making new ones... I keep getting this error msg and don't know what it means or how to correct the color sync:
Â
ColorSync color matching may produce different results than printer color management. Either Photoshop color management or printer color management is recommended.
On my MacBook OSX 10. 8.2Â I can't print with my Epson printer. Yet I can print with Photoshop CS 5.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with CS3... When I want to print a 100x300cm or longer banner with Epson 9800 the print preview of Epson doesn't show the complete document. A1 to B0 jobs has no problem. At the print preview 1/3 or 1/4 of the banner is blank...With CS2 there is no problem.
I install the updates for CS3 but problem is still on.
I sellected the PDF printer as default.(I read this in a forum)
I have 2 9800, 1 9880 and 5 4800 on a network...
With CS3: If I save the banner in PSD, PDF, JPEG, TIF format doesn't matter. Same problem.
I try the job on Corel X3 as JPEG it doesn't read anything on some PC's, the print preview is blank. Some PC's read the document with Corel X3.
I think I have to go back to CS2.......
I can't open pse 9Â files in windows 7...
View 2 Replies View RelatedLoaded Photoshop Elements 9 on a computer that is not on the internet and works fine as long as the user logging into the computer has admin privileges but a user who does not have admin priviledges gets an Error:6 that says to uninstall and reinstall the product. Uninstalling and reinstalling the product has no effect. I believe this to be that the normal user doesn't have permissions to a file somewhere that it needs to write to but can't seem to locate that file as I have given write permissions to Adobe under Programs & Common Files but no success. Â
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm traveling right now and so not in my natural environment, dont have full resources. I'm using my Mac Book Pro and doing some light editing. I can not, however, get Lr3 and PSE9 to play nice together though. If in Lr3 I request <Edit in PSE9> it only tries to launch PSE even if it is already open but will not open the imaged. If I drag the images from Lr3 to PSE it will be locked and I can not even create a duplicat layer.Â
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had PSE9 & PRE9 installed on my Windows 8 machine. Upgraded to Windows 8.1, disliked it, reinstalled 8.0 and am trying to put my computer back to where it was. No problem with CS4 re-installation but PSE9 & PRE9 reach almost the end of the installation process, then roll back the installation.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI currently have installed and successfully used PSE9 for a number of years. I recently purchased and installed PRE11 in order to do some video editing however I first created a slideshow in PSE9 with the intent to burn it to a DVD. The completed slideshow includes 140 still photos (all resized to 1000X750 maximum), transitions, text and music but no video) and when I tried to port it to my PRE11 using the "Edit with Premiere Elements" command, I received the following message "The feature you selected requires Adobe Premiere Elements" and then an option to download a 30-day trial. I did some research online and have read that different versions of PSE and PRE are not compatible and therefore I have the following four related questions.
Â
1. is it correct that my PSE9 will be unable to port to my PRE11? And, if that is not correct, then how do I get past the above error message in order to burn my completed PSE9 slideshow to a DVD via my PRE11? I do not want to convert the slideshow to a WMV to created a CD due to the lower quality.
Â
2. If it is correct that I cannot port between different versions of PSE and PRE then does any program I can use to take my completed PSE9 slideshow out of PSE9 and burn a high quality DVD of the slideshow?
Â
3. If I have to upgrade my PSE9 to PSE11 in order to port my slideshow to PRE11 and thus burn a DVD of my slideshow, is there any way to move/copy/cut&paste my existing PSE9 slideshow to the new PSE11 or will I need to totally recreate it in the new PSE11?
Â
4. If I must purchase and install PSE11 in order to do the above, is there any guarentee that the new PSE11 will allow me to port the slideshow to my existing PRE11?
Â
Seems like an awful lot of work just to produce a slideshow DVD but I'm willing to do whatever it takes since I've already spent quite a few hours getting the PSE9 slideshow exactly the way I want it.
Â
My system is Windows 7 Home Premium, DualCore CPU, 64 bit operating system and 4 GB RAM.
I am trying to print a 22"x40" print on canvas using CS5 with the Epson 7600. The image prints fine until about 2/3 of the way thru and then it just stops. This has happened 3Xs now.Â
Â
On first attempt the resolution was set at 300dpi and the file was about 400+mb.I've flattened the image and reduced the resolution to 200 making the file about 120mb. Same problem!
Â
I printed the same image (at the larger size) on paper without any problem.
I have an Epson 1400, and it was working fine this morning. I usually go to Print Settings to select my glossy paper. But just now, when I went to print, and tried to click the Print settings... button, nothing happens. I have tried using Software Update and installed the latest Epson Printer Software, and tested several other applications, and the printer is connected and working fine in those.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am using the Adobe Master Collection CS4, and use an Epson RX650 printer, but for the life of me I cannot get Photoshop to print what is on the screen. The prints are dark, and no where near the ones on the screen. I am using genuine Epson Ink, and Premium glossy paper, so as to remove this issue, is this a case of my screen needing to be calibrated? I have considered buying the Spyde Studio calibrator to ensure that this is correct, (do I need to?) and I have read as much as I can about setting up Adobe to manage the print settings and colours, but still no luck. My current settings are as follows In Adobe Bridge, my creative suit color settings are set to Europe General Purpose 2The in Adobe Photoshop (version 11.0.1) I am selecting under colour management, Document Adoby RGB (1998), Photoshop handles colours, Printer profile is Epson sRGB Colour Space, Rendering intent is Relative Colourimetric, and I have ticked the following boxs, Blackpoint compensation, Match print colours, Gamut warning and Show paper white.
